Zoe had her wretched shots. *sigh* An oral vaccination, and 2 in each thigh. Our poor baby!
She was 13 lbs, 5 oz, and 25 inches long. She's right at the top of the 100% for her age.

9-20-08
Zoe FINALLY rolled all the way over on her own today! Its about time. Zoe is a diva and hates to be on her stomach. She's also discovered a new sound; the best way to explain it is her doing a huge gasp. Its cute when she does it at home, but its not cute in public when it sounds like she's having a freaking asthma attack! She cracks up when she does it, so if she likes it, I love it...

9-28-08
At 4 months of age, Zoe doesn't sleep through the night yet. Like clockwork, she wakes up at 1 am, 3 am, and 6 am, then for good around 7:30 am, JUST to eat. I've tried pumping 4 oz bottles, 6 oz bottles, and even 8 oz bottles to give her before she goes to bed. No matter how much she drinks, she'll still wake up hungry. I can't take it anymore! I read about the mothers who have babies that sleep for 12 hours at night, and I want to be apart of that club! So today, we finally got some Rice Cereal to mix with the milk. We didn't really know how she'd react to it, so to be on the safe side, I pumped a 4 oz bottle, and put a Tablesoon and a half of cereal in it. I hope this works!! *crossing fingers*

9-29-08
The rice cereal didn't work, and Zoe has a cold, thanks to Kam. Lord, give me the strength! My baby can barely breathe out of her nose, and she gets so frustrated when she tries to nurse. She'll be fine during the day, but the real problem occurs when she tries to sleep. I can literally hear the congestion in the back of her nose, and I feel so bad for her! The humidifier doesn't seem to be helping anything. I've been sucking her nose with the bulb, and that doesn't seem to help either. I'm going to try some saline drops in a couple of minutes, hopefully that'll do something. I feel like my breastmilk is no good, since I was under the belief that breastfeed babies rarely get sick. If only she could spit a loogie! I know how nasty it is to spit, but...*sigh*

10-6-08
Dammmmmmmit! My period is here. Its been over a year since I've been down the red river. I must say my period was NOT missed! I need to get some bc, asap! However, the whole idea of breastfeeding and using birth control concerns me...like I have fears; will it make Zoe infertile? I'm already taking thyroid medicine. I'm not looking forward to taking yet another medication that could make its appearance in my breastmilk. There's always condoms...*sucking teeth* Who am I kidding? Asking Kam to wear a condom would be like asking him to put on a pair of stilettos. Men can be so d*mn selfish! We could always go back to using the timing method which surprisingly worked for us, until we slipped up one day which produced Zoe. *insert oxymoron joke here* What if we have another slip up?! I at least wanted to make sure Zoe was potty trained before I became pregnant again...maybe I'm thinking/looking too much into it. But I'm paranoid!!

10-14-08Yesterday I bought my first gurtle and in return, Kam got me my first gym membership. DAMN DAMN DAMN! I thought I was doing big things when I lost all my baby weight within a month without having to work out. However, I'm over here looking like Olive Oil. I weigh 125 lbs, and I have NO muscle definition/tone at all. I have a pooch belly that forces me to suck in my breath when I stand, and when I sit down it resembles a stack of nicely folded blankets. :( Pre pregnancy, I had a nice round booty *tooting my own horn*, but now its like...just...FLABBY! Dare I say...FLAT?! I don't even have any calve muscles!! But I'm not the only one who's guilty; Kam has grown a nice perky set of tits since Zoe's been born. I'll never forget that one day when he was holding her without his shirt on, and she latched on to his nipple. It was pure comedy for me, but pure horror for him. Kam and I are going on a cruise for our 1 year wedding anniversary in April, and we have a bet on who'll have the sexiest body. Dammit I want to win!!

Thats whats up! Glad to hear it! and my momma and daddy been married for 30+years and she still picks up after him too...lol But thanks for the advice and your right about the mental connection versus the physical but please believe the physical does get brought up and a sista is like when can i get on the next flight out to the MIA...lol I think this early into it though we're doing better than the norm so i'm gonna stick w it and see where it goes and the only thing i'm screaming right now is i'm not gonna be living w my parents forever, or have an infant forever, or be in school forever so y sabotage a potentially good man for me and my daughter u know but i'll keep u posted!

Might as well put his chunk butt to good use right! lol...football player...hey!!...Maybe i can get a house on the hill one day! lol...look at me trying to plan for my son to make me rich...lol....ya when he's reclined back in his pillow, he can pull himself forward, he's not strong enough to sit straight up, he will eventually fall all the way forward..it's HILARIOUS! i seen him just keep going and land on his face! and he just smile and eats the sheets! lol...i love this lil man!

Zoe is Gemini and Zachai is Taurus. But aren't these muchkins too much?!? Girl just make sure that you feed her before you leave, you may have to exit and deal with her and re-enter if things get out of hand...lol..but lets hope she sleeps and plays the whole way....preferably sleeps.

But nope no fever yet hopefully she won't have one but if Zoe's gums are swollen and she's doing all that she might be teething but i'm not a doctor so i can't say u know! and yeah stella here is definetely feeling him but him being far is one aspect the fact that he's far and WE HAVENT MET YET is another! I mean everything i like about him could be just bull u know its 2008 which is y i'm like idk! How is married life going for u! Still on cloud 9?
