Well, my baby boy is now 5 1/2 months old and I can't imagine life before him! LOL He is perfect, of course, and his daddy and I are very proud. He was born at 9 lbs 9 oz and was 21 inches long. He's mommy's big boy! He's now about 16 lbs and 27 inches long.

Hi there,

Well, I'm about to be a first time mom at 33. It's scary, but I've wanted it for a long time and things seem to be falling into place. My husband Terry and I are very excited, hoping for a smooth pregnancy (I'm REALLY hoping!), and are looking forward to the joys and challenges ahead of us. I'm only 9 weeks along, and so far so good! I'm looking forward to reading what others are experiencing and learning from them.

Okay, so now I'm at 10 weeks. Most of my morning sickness symptoms have gone, but I still get pretty tired easily. I'm also a little emotional, which is driving me NUTS!! LOL I'm usually a very controlled person, but right now there are times I could throw something through the window just because. Otherwise, things seem to be progressing well.....

And week 11 here we go. I'm not officially "showing" yet, but I'm definitely thicker! My jeans don't fit and I'm going to have to resort to the rubberband trick I was told about. I'm ready for my baby bump! I've been feeling pretty good, but there are forest fires all around us and the smoke gives me headaches. I go in next Tuesday and hopefully get to hear the hearbeat. While it's real enough now, that will really convince me that this is actually happening! :)

Wow, time seems to be flying! I will be at 5 months next Wednesday, and so far so good. I finally felt the baby kick yesterday, and while I'm not a very emotional person it almost brought tears to my eyes! I'm very excited for this baby and can hardly wait till February to meet him or her.

Wow, 36 weeks already! It's getting so close, yet seems so far away!! Baby's room is almost ready, and so are we. I'm feeling good, but have my days. Sleep is hard get sometimes, but I guess I better get used to it! :) Hope all who read this are feeling good and doing great....
