JUST ME

I am 24 and live with my fiance Chris, 28 in Cramlington. We have been together for 7 years and have lived together for 4 years! We got a puppy at Christmas and thought that was enough for now so when I found out I was pregnant at Easter it was a SHOCK to say the least! After three tests I still didn't want to believe as I still feel like a child myself! Somehow I have managed to give up smoking and drinking but I must admit I miss it! Chris on the other hand hasn't changed his ways yet but who can blame him? To him nothing is different ... yet!

So in a nutshell when jelly bean is born I will have to cope with a newborn and a puppy! Holly will be 1 on November 7th just before jelly bean is due and hopefully won't be as hyper! I have already noticed a change in her and she is calming down a lot, the only time she is in hyper mode is when people come over, she is very clingy and just likes to snuggle up to her mamma and dadda!! (sad I know but at least we're already used to calling each other it)

We are still hoping to have a week away before jelly bean arrives and had luckily already decided to stay in this country so we could take Holly with us! So glad I have managed to have plenty holidays with Chris, we have been to the Caribbean the past three years so can't complain too much!

One of my downfalls is that I am a very negative person and always thinks and expect the worst, I worry about everything as you never know what can happen, me and Chris never leave each other on bad terms and always say "I love you" even after being together for so long, some people call it soppy but we never want to change, we are very close and lovey dovey!!! Anyway my point was I am a worrier and can't wait until I am past my 20 week scan so I can enjoy my pregnancy! Also can't wait to find out the sex so we can have a bright pink or blue nursery - no offence to anyone but I don't like cream/lemon/beige nurseries, I want a bright and stimulating room for my baby!!

Jelly bean will be the fourth grandchild on my side of the family but the first in Chris's! My sister had Lyla Catherine on the 24th June 2006, my brother had Ethan Thomas on the 13th October 2006 and his second baby is due in July! We have been warned to slow down by my mam as she will end up skint!!

yeah theres not many apples about - lot of mamas and papas and those bugaboos and quinnies..

ive not ordered mine yet im waiting till dec but i will be getting the maxi cosi seat for it. i just love it.. i saw a lady walking hers in the park and if i wa braver i would of asked her how she liked it.. apparently the frames heavy - but to be honest i like the thought cause for one you get a better workout walking the thing - and two you know it wont tip with a few bags on it...

you need to let me know how you get on with it!!! your baby comes WAYYYY before mine!

aw do you like it!! i just love the design.. i went through 4 prams with my last baby and i think this is one that will do me from birth till i no longer need a pram.. i just like that you can turn the baby to face you or face out the way..plus i dont htink my partner will feel like an idiot pushing it..

i got a graco travel system for my first pram with harry and kept it for a month - total waste of money!

Hey gorgeous, i am also visiting a friend on saturday, to see her baby girl, it's LauraLou, she is on this site, she had a c-section last week and her little Lexie is at home waiting for me to come and cuddle her, i am gonna go and buy her lots of pressies, i am so excited to hold the baby... married life is ok, steve and i had a row on monday but we are cool now... glad to hear your hormones are settling down, XX

Which pram did you go for? It must be fine when you get it ordered. I'm still looking at them all

!! I quite like a Silver Cross one from Mothercare. Think its called 3D Jet Sport. The only thing putting me off was it seemed really hard to put it up again after it had been folded down but I don't know if they're all like that. I'll have to find one soon!!

Your weekend will be nice getting lots of little cuddles

. Two of my friends are both due in October so can't wait for the babas to come so I can get lots of cuddles

LOL men and drink hey,why is it they never know when to stop? if that was andy i wud of made him stay out haha (not really).Im suppose to be going out on saturday on a hen night but to be honest im not really that interested, i know for sure im gonna miss ellie-mae and will drive my friends bonkers.

Ellie has been really grumpy today she wants me to hold her all the time and crys when i leave the room, then when i pick her up she has a grin on her face,just shows how deep our bond is mind you there are times when it can get me down a bit like when i need to do house work and if i want a bath its in and out in a flash, i miss my nice long hot soaks lol but thats babies for ya maybe i should have that night out after all haha.((((BIG HUGS))))

I've still got lots to get and I'm starting to panic now

. I'm still looking at pushchairs but just can't decide. There's too much choice so keep changing my mind!!! We got the nursery all painted so just waiting to get a carpet down now and that'll be done

. It's a nice feeling when you get the nursery done and think of them in their little room. Did you find anything when you went shopping at the weekend?

Just been checking out that pram you mentioned, it looks lush! Try not to read too many reviews on things you buy, obviously it's good to know that things are safe, but everyone has different opinions on everything. I made that mistake last year when we were about to go on holiday - was reading reviews about the hotel and so many of them were BAD, it had me dreading it, but the place was lovely in the end.

Awww im gald ur feeling happier hun like they say happy mummy happy baby...Did chris cum home drunk lol?? Andy did that when i was pregnant he came in drunk, pounced on the bed stinking of booze mumbling on and on and kept repeating himself GGGRRR so in the end i chucked him out and made him sleep on the sofa next morning i walked in to find him screwed up on the floor moaning and groaning ohh my head hurts blahh blahhh lol...
The weather was really odd this weekend friday was nice and saturday was really humid but yesterday was a wash out. I get worried when we have lots of rain cuz last year was terrible with the floods i can remember looking out of the window and thinking OMG wheres the road gone it was just terrible then we had no water for nearly 2 weeks and having to keep going outside getting water was real bad as we live in a 1st floor flat i just wanted a bath lol... but we were lucky tho a few of my friends had there homes destroyed it was heart breaking plus my friend was due her baby at the time and she had to move out and stay in a hotel for months, anyways lets change that horrible subject lol..Im glad ur not drinking i didnt either my siter does and i dont think thats right somehow i just cudnt. i used to get fed up tho cuz i do like a glass of wine and i felt i was missing out so i got some massage oils and would get andy to give me a massage that way i got to wind down and it was good for my back as it used to ache being heavily pregnant and it was nice cuz we got time together and i enjoyed that closeness get chris to try it get a night of pampering u deserve it lol....((((BIG HUGS)))

Oh yeah, as we moved i put all my "skinny clothes" in a pile, all the tiny jeans are folded away neatly waiting for me patiently, lol, thanks babe for your positive comments, i am not too worried about the body thing anymore now, i am just getting on with it, i am just getting ready to have my son now i will deal with my body issues later, i have also tried to wear my old clothes and if there isn't an elastic band it doesn't fit, lol....i am still wearing the tops and stuff, it's just the jeans and skirts i don't fit in, i think i'll be ok though. X PS: i can't wait to be back in the gym though, god i miss it so much X

We got the Mothercare Trenton Deluxe travel system in Mocha. It comes with a carry cot, car seat and travel bag. The mocha colour is being discontinued thats why we ordered it coz I wasn't too keen on the black. The swing crib is lovely.

Marty dragged me to Next today as we saw some other sleepsuits we liked yesterday, but with my mam being there we couldn't get them or she would know what we are having! Sounds like that women was trying to get a sale from you as in Mothercare they only take about 5 days for delivery, but maybe it's different in Fenwicks. Had another Ante-natal appointment and it was actually with the midwife I was assigned to!

I have been thinking about hospital bag too, I have a bag I can use and I have a rough idea of what I need to take from reading around.
I'm not looking forward to going back to work on Monday - enjoying being off too much! Were hoping the weather is OK tomorrow coz we want to take Becky to the beach and have some Fish n Chips by the sea!

Ahhh ur msgs arent wingey hun far from it and ur certainly not selfish i think u need more cuddles and kisses when ur pregnant( even when ur not) its not that u want attention its more reasurrance like it shows how much he loves ya and us gals are stubborn no way will i go to andy 1st lol.... Baba will bring u closer, tho it is hard the 1st couple of weeks but u need a good routine,both me and andy stayed up the 1st week and my god we were walking around like zombies so we decided to take it in turns and that way we both got a decent nights sleep we share everything even tho andy is back at work and has to be up at 4.30 he still helps out and always makes her a bottle before he leaves for work, like i said to him its hard being home all day with her and he understands that my job is just as hard as his (not many men will say that).. Oh yeah Chris will be protective what was it andy said if any boy hurts his lil girl he will smash his f***ing head in and thats if he even allows her to have a bf lol... then theres my son james he has said the same hes her big bro soo i think she may have to go and join a nunnery haha. I am really enjoying her tho i love bathing her she smells lovely and picking out a pretty dress for her to wear sometimes i just watch her and my heart melts with a huge wave of love and u have all this to come honey so stay positive and happy ok. thanks babe, the cellulite is on my thighs, that's why you can't see it lol, the jeans are from Mothercare, they cost �32 i have been wearing them almost everyday since 17 weeks, they are a size 8 and i am telling you i am sure i'll wear them right til the end there is plenty of space and elastic band left, they are so comfy, i am just about to go on the mothercare website to get another similar pair cos i look like i am wearing the same clothes all the time, lol... XX

Been shopping all day today with Marty and Mam, so tired, but it's been worth it. My mam has ordered us a crib and pram! We bought a Winnie the Pooh bath set, matress for the Crib and Mother Care had this handy little essentials pack - 3 sleepsuits, 3 bodysuits, a hat, 2 pairs of scratch mits and a pair of booties - �14 for the lot! We also bought the paint for nursery at weekend! I'm off to put my feet up now. Take care Hun xx
