I'm certainly not being racist, but from what I've heard from others and what is shown on tv like international commercials or news casts, they do show a lot more. Not racist at all, sorry if it came off like that. You may be more reserved and I'm certainly not painting all people over there like that, I was just speaking in defense of the girl that was being made fun of and basically hated, how can that come off as racist? racism is hate and I certainly wasn't speaking from a hateful perspective, I felt sorry for the girl being hated and I was trying to allow others to maybe see it from a different stand point, it may not be the norm but I would think it is more trivialized than it is over here where a guy can get in trouble with the law for indecent exposure for taking a pee in an alley. Sorry if you were offended, but you misread everything I was saying and jumped to conclusions.

Hi I'm catching up on comments and i noticed that you are reading Birthing without fear.. I also recommend Hypnobirthing by Marie F Mongan ... she takes his theory and uses it to help with a pain free labor its a great book and I have had several friends that have used the Mongan Method and have had wonderful pain free deliveries.. its nice to know that someone out there also believes that this doesn't have to be a horrible painful event full of bad memories.

Hi Karen J, thanks for the book suggestion :) You weren't talking to me but from the beginning I've wanted a natural drugless childbirth, and the closer and closer I get to labor the more scared I get. This book looks like exactly what I need. I'd also like to purchase this book that talks about "Acupressure" relieving the pains of labor. I'll find out the name of it and get back with you.

Thanks for the reply re: pains while working out. I guess I will still try to walk, though I seem to get slower with time and it gets discouraging to feel so incompetent! I'm going to restrict myself to the treadmill - I don't want to get stuck somewhere in the neighborhood doubled over!
