I am 45 and pregnant with my 4th child. My other kids are 16, 14, and 3. I am excited, but nervous. I am scheduled for an amnio on January 24 and will be on pins and needles until then. Am I the oldest person on earth to become pregnant????

Thanks to those of ou who have written to let me know that there are other "old" : ) women out there who are pregnant. It is interesting that there was a special on tv last week about famous women who are now pregnant or who gave birth after the age of 40-Nicole Kidman, Halle Barry, Marcia Cross, Nancy Grace (twins at 48!!), Holly Hunter, and the list goes on!!!! I had an amnio done during my last pregnancy and everything was normal. The test only hurt a little and the relief I felt for the remainder of the pregnancy was well worth it.
