Is this your first pregnancy?: no, I had a miscarriage when I was just 18 years old.
When did you find out you were pregnant?: August 29, 2008

What was your first reaction?: stunned, disbelief would be a good word
Who was with you when you found out?: I took a test at work on my lunch hour, than another after work and then another at home. I was by myself when I took the tests. I took a fourth test the next morning and Ken was with me for that one.
Who was the first person you told?: I told my friend Lexi that I suspected I was pregnant after the first test because the pink line was so very faint, but Ken was the first person I told when I was completely sure
How did your parents react?: My dad was surprised, but supportive. I know he was really worried about me
How far along are you?: 30 weeks 3 days
What was your first symptom?: really painful breasts, I thought I was just getting my period but then it never came.

What is your due date?: May 8, 2009 ( but the doctors say I could go into preterm labor any time after 35 weeks. I have several risk factors for an early delivery)

Who will be in the delivery room with you?: Ken of course and my best friend Dawn. I want a woman with me and my mom died 8 years ago. I really miss her but I know she'll be there too.

Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: Without a doubt.
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: I've been waiting to meet you for so long.
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: Pictures maybe, nothing graphic, no videotape though
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: I am definitely excited. I was scared but I just got over a nasty case of pneumonia and pleurisy which is a very very painful lung infection. After enduring that pain for a week in the hospital, I'm not really afraid of labor anymore.
