My name is Kayla and me and my partner Fred are expecting our first in September. We are both very excited and can't wait to meet our little man. We have had a few problems with the adjustment to impending parenthood but have thankfully gotten through them and are now looking forward to raising our son together and being the best parents we can be. I am beyond excited and have had a perfect pregnancy so far. Fred is looking forward to doing all the "boy" things with him, we have started thinking of names and have both agreed Bailey is okay but we still have plenty of time to decide. I am absolutely loving being pregnant, Sometimes I wonder why I waited so long to have a baby (even though I'm only 20 haha, and he wasn't exactly planned) It is the best time of my life and when he is born I think I will really miss it being the two of us. I'll miss his kicks and rolls. and just knowing that there's more to me than me, because I have a little mini person inside.

Congrats to the rest of you Mama's to be and daddy's too! Good luck as well to everyone TTC!!!!

Yes i totally agree with you, where does all the weight go apart from your belly and boobs ( mine seem to be going through another growth spurt aswell as leaking! JOY!!)
I went out with 2 other pregnant ladies and one other friend Friday night, im 5 weeks ahead with both of them, and yet we all look the same! and went out for dinner and a movie..was great just to get out with other girls that are like me, and not having our partners there!
Hamish and i are great, getting very excited now..cant beleive its just about 10 more weeks till our lil man is due!

argh so jealous, how are you size fitting into those jeans? My hips have expanding a couple of inches, and i have put on weight round my butt and thighs aswell as my belly..you have you gained 9kgs so far?
Oh that sucks your sick with the winter cold...if i was you i would stay in bed all day...hehe

oh what! you can still fit into you pre pregnancy jeans? so jealous! I am now fitting into size 9-10 which is only one size up from what i was which isnt to bad i guess, i have given up on weighing myself coz it just gets me down..
And yes i am excited for sure...just hope im not like 2 weeks over or anything as that would drive me nuts!
Somedays i wish i would just have him now coz i get so damn impatient hehe

we are doing great thanks..Loving the name too!
Hamish and i are still discussing the name situation, we have a few that we like but havent decided on anything for certain..still have a few months before he is born tho hehe
I have found myself talking to my belly all the time!
I am still stretch mark free also, altho some days it just feels like i cant stretch no more and ill end up waking up with a huge belly with heaps of stretch marks on it...but oh well, im like you and am hoping the bio oil does its job!
Hows your house anyways? feeling the winter snap yet?
I have been walking 6kms 3x a week now to keep my fitness up, but the end of the week with working and walking im totally exhausting..just cant wait till i finish work and chill for a while before bub is born..

Hiya K,

I am getting induced on the 1st, they have said he is already over 9lbs!!! I thought I was having a baby not a friggin cow! Very nervous about the induction, and he will be 10 days overdue - send me some labour dust, as I hear its better to go nat than be induced - which can take up to 3 days of constant cramping etc. What Joy eh!!!
Take care of yourself and if I dont speak to you before hand I will def email you all the gory details of our ordeal/journey

Hows things with you?
Im doing great, and my ever expanding belly also..its all catching up on me now i tell ya..ill put my photo up this week sometime and you will see the MEGA difference between week 24 and week 28!
And yes with the kicks, Hamish can finally feel our lil one kick..its so cool that he can feel kinda what i feel..and i love it also..

yea, i congrat single mums, they must have it tuff..Im glad i have heaps of support here, and have hamish..
you think gas is ridiclous, how about petrol! i dont even use my car anymore, so i catch a ride in with hamish to work since its sooo expensive!
As for how things a going, i honestly cant wait to finish work, only 8 more weeks to go damn it..but im sure that once i go on leave ill be asking to do something to stop me from being bored!

wow $300 a week, how do you afford that on top of everything esle?
I pay $80 a week and that covers everything, since hamishs parents know how hard its going to be once baby comes etc..but we want to move into our own home asap instead of having to drive 20kms to get to work eachday with the petrol prices going up and up!
yea, its kinda strange thinking how much you will miss those kicks and stuff..but you can always have more kids! Hamish said the other day he wants me to have one more and to have it within a year or so, so that they can be close in age!!

As for my stomach muscles, i dont think i have any now..my belly is huge, and you will have to wait till another 2 weeks for me to put my 28 week picture up hehe..

Yea i have to do that glucose thing in 2 weeks, it will be fine .
I have been great, my week off has worked wonders! i am much rested now and have caught up on alot of missed sleep, now to get back into work, lucky its only part time so im not stressing anymore etc. I got the nappy bag from the baby factory, i think it was $40 on sale, its great, heaps of pockets etc just what i want.
As for the baby,oh hell yes he kicks me heaps and hard, but i love it so much. hamish still cant feel it altho we can both see him kicking me..
Oh your already washing baby clothes, oh so cute!
I have stopped buying things until i have my baby shower in August, im not sure how long ill last tho, coz i just want to go out and buy everything! But what Hamish and i have discussed is to save money now and when i go on my leave go out and buy everything we need ( which will be after the baby shower) and then we will be sorted...well thats the plan haha
Glad to hear about your house..how much rent do you pay?
I have only 9 more week of work YAY..i think im counting down those weeks more then to when i give birth at the mo haha

oh my gosh, that sounds so painful!
I hadnt heard from you in awhile, so i thought something must be up..hows your nwe house again?
I have just been relaxing back on my week off, i went and brought a nappy bag today from the baby factory...one less thing off my list of things to get hehe..
So how have you been after from your ligament, and how did you manage to do that? Is your belly still going hehe

i have to do that sugar test thingee in the next couple of weeks, everyone goes on about how bad it is, but im suer its nothing

Awww my lovely, you look absolutely stunning!! A total gorgeous mummy to be, I cant believe how happy I am for you, we are both mums to be in the same year, I love the name Bailey, its so sweet!! I am so going to miss keeping the little lad safe inside of me, please savour everyday and every kick, it just goes too fast! I promise to give you all the details good and bad of the birth, but I know its something that you will handle better than me.

Are people getting stretch marks already? but we arent even that fat haha.. :S
i got told if your mother got them that you will get them, well my mum had 7 kids so no wonder she got them but hopefully i do...we will see.
