My name is Kayla and me and my partner Fred are expecting our first in September. We are both very excited and can't wait to meet our little man. We have had a few problems with the adjustment to impending parenthood but have thankfully gotten through them and are now looking forward to raising our son together and being the best parents we can be. I am beyond excited and have had a perfect pregnancy so far. Fred is looking forward to doing all the "boy" things with him, we have started thinking of names and have both agreed Bailey is okay but we still have plenty of time to decide. I am absolutely loving being pregnant, Sometimes I wonder why I waited so long to have a baby (even though I'm only 20 haha, and he wasn't exactly planned) It is the best time of my life and when he is born I think I will really miss it being the two of us. I'll miss his kicks and rolls. and just knowing that there's more to me than me, because I have a little mini person inside.

Congrats to the rest of you Mama's to be and daddy's too! Good luck as well to everyone TTC!!!!

Thank you so much! Sometimes you forget how lucky you really are ya know? And sometimes men just don't get what we go through, so its nice everyonce and a while to get surprised like that. So whats it like to be 35 weeks along? lol I know its such a dumb question, but I am so excited about every step of this!

Omg! Don't take offense to this, but in the first ultra sound pic at the top of your page, if kinda looks like your baby has a rattle in his right hand and flipping the bird with his left! Can you see that too??? He's NOT but wow! Rebelion already! Thanks for answering my ?. I'm glad I can talk to another woman due around the time I am going through the same thing! I'm sure you will know when you're in labor.. Its one of those feelings where.. You JUST KNOW. This pregnancy has been a huge question b.c. Of all my premature labor, and I never had bad BH's with my first. How do you know when pieces of your mucus plug falls out? Is it that thick white discharge that comes out once in a while?? Or is it like a huge chunk of something that's hard??

thanks for your comment. He really is an sometimes hes says things he dont mean but it still hurts. Then wants me to love him. Dont know what im gonna do yet though. I love this baby so much and my other two children and thats all that matters to me. please keep in contact!

Yeah, it's really not a waste, because it would be fine in the pram for outings and as you say for tummy time to keep him off the floor.

I've just got home from a shopping trip - used to go out nearly every day, but now I seem to go more and more rarely, but it was fun. Got my little boy outa the house for a while, too, and it's a beautiful sunny but cool day. Hope you're having a good day too!

Thanks kaylaaa, my sister told me that she was once told not to use woolen underlays on baby's bed because of a high correlation with SIDS, but I've never heard that first-hand. Never used a woolen underblanket, either, but I was given such a lovely one. Might put it in the pram if nothing else!

Good luck with everything I know it is a pain some times but I think that my cat is coming around but on the other hand she is becoming really wieny and she doesn't really know what she wants. She must know that something is up. She usually isn't really social at all!
I don't close the door either, my H does but I feel I shouldn't have to. I just thought that maybe it will work if nothing else does.

i've got plenty of games!!! Ok...

1. Dirty diaper game.... melt some chocolate into diapers and pass em round for people to guess which is which

2. The jar count game... put candy or safety pins in a jar and guess

3. A Diaper raffle... every1 must bring a pack of diapers to ur shower and will be put in a drawing for bringing some

4. Memory game... put stuff on a tray such as a breast pad, bottle, pacifier, powder, safety pin, etc and give em 30 sec to memorize and list it on paper..

5. Word scramble... jumble words like bottle into Telbot and have em figure it out

6. necklace game... give em a necklace outta yarn with a cheap thing hangin on it and if they say 'BabY' or leave their legs wide open, some1 calls em on it and can take their necklace

7. Celeb Baby game... Get a poster board and Magazine clipings with celebs and their kids and have em match up the babies to their parents

8. belly measurement... dont use toilet paper, its too easy. use balloon string and let em estimate how much string will fit around ur belly

9. baby FOod game... Buy several jars of baby food. 2 different meats like chicken or beef, some fruits and some veggies and have em write what they think it is just from looking.. dont forget take off the labels!

Here's the list we used, I think I added some more on but I can't remember what they were. have fun at your shower, I had such a great time at mine. it's nice seeing all the people that alreadly love your baby so much.
