*Welcome to my page!*
Hi! My name is Kelli and I am 21 years old. I have been married to my handsome husband Joe since September 28, 2007. We have three great furry cat children named Chloe, Bubba, and Kiki. Along with a lizard named Liam. This is our second pregnancy. I had a miscarriage on September 4, 2007.. and was 10 weeks along. We are more than excited again the second time around!
~Jan.13~
I have been feeling nauseated with certain smells and have become very picky about what I eat. I also, have been experiencing a lot of lower back pain, which is more annoying then painful. Along with all that good stuff, I have been having minor cramps here and there, and then they vanish. Kind of keeps me on my toes, for the fear of miscarrying again. I am consistently hungry and go to the bathroom more then normal too. And we can't forget about the sore bbs! My first doctor's appointment was on January 9th. Our doctor thinks I might be around 10 weeks pregnant and the nurse said around 6 weeks, our doctor also said that he thinks this one is the charm... I sure hope so. Joe and I believe it to be the 6 weeks because my last period was November 27th, we think he must have thought that I said October 27th. That would be nice if I am farther along though! My first ultrasound is scheduled for January 15th, and I am really excited! We will then find out how far along I really am.. yay!

Today I had my first trimester ultrasound! I am 7 weeks and some odd days pregnant! The heartbeat was 142 BPM and I have an instinct that it might be a boy... but who knows? For some reason the lady doing the ultrasound didn't give me a picture.. but oh well. I was just too excited that I saw the heartbeat. I'm not sure when my next appointment is with my gynecologist.. So I will call him soon. That is all for now :D
~Jan.17~
My next doctor's appointment is on Feb. 7th with my gynecologist. I already have my next ultrasound appointment scheduled for Feb. 22nd and it will be the nuchal translucency screening. They will do an ultrasound to figure out the heart beat, gestational age, and the amount of fluid accumulated behind the baby's neck. After that I will have to have a blood test in correlation with the ultrasound. By the time of the ultrasound I will be around 12 weeks! I can't wait and I hope it goes by really fast. I have been having severe nausea and don't even want to look at food. Clear soda and crackers are my best friend right now lol. I sure hope this eases up soon enough.. so I can start eating normally.

Hey ladies! I am excited to be in my 8th week :D I hope the time goes by faster and faster! It seems like forever and a day for Februrary to come. Recent update on things... I ran out of my prescribed prenatal's and went to fill another prescription and found out that the pills are no longer available because they aren't making them anymore. So they told me that they are going to contact my doctor and order me different ones, in the mean time I have to use the store bought ones. It's been three days and I still haven't heard from the pharmacy. I've been feeling really tired and dragged down. Eating anything is really frustrating, because of the nausea, and I really can't wait for it to be over with in (hopefully) a few weeks. Every time I do eat, I find it easier to do so if I have white soda. I haven't been able to stomach drinking water very much either, which worries me. I hope everyone else is doing great ;D
~Feb.1~
Yay February is finally here! I got a call today from the doctor's office and they were reminding me that everything was looking good from the ultrasound. They also said that I am 9 weeks and 3 days today. I was all excited over being 8 weeks that I didn't have a chance to be excited over 9. It came so fast and will be over with in four days! Feb. 7th is just around the corner now. I can't wait to surpass 10 weeks, because that is when I had my miscarriage. My husband's birthday is tomorrow.. the big 2-6! I can't wait.. his mom is making us breakfast and taking us shopping. And for dinner his dad and step mom are making us dinner. For once I won't have to worry about what I'm going to have to eat.. because it's all planned out already! Nausea has been more under control lately. I still dread eating all the time though!! I have been really moody towards my husband... but when I think about my reasons they end up not making any sense. I absolutely hate fighting with him.. even if it's for a good reason lol!! Good luck to those that are TTC and for the mommies-to-be :D

Today I had my check-up! I now weigh 137.5 lbs.. gained 7 lbs. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat!! It was very fast and strong. The doctor says everything seems really great and I only have a 3% chance of miscarriage from now on. I am more than happy inside and out! My husband is super excited too. He couldn't be at the appointment but I told him all about it. He started calling his parents and told them how everything is going. We are going to go out to dinner to celebrate and because we don't have any food in the house right now haha!! I can't wait for my next appointment on Feb.22nd. I'll get to see my baby again! I am a huge ball of excited lol

Soo! On Feb. 22nd I had my ultrasound for the nuchal translucency screening. All went well, baby was too cute for words! Pretty much the whole time the baby had it's arm/hand up in the air.. it was pretty funny. Sometimes even looked like it was waving to us and I told my mom that the baby is praising the lord in there lol. During the ultrasound, the tech kept pushing really hard on my stomach to get the little babe to move.. it was so uncomfortable! So, she ended up telling me to just roll over on my sides to get it moving and it worked! I thought it was funny to see the baby just floating around after I rolled around. The ultrasound tech got some good pictures of what she needed and hopefully the tests come back great. It's so amazing how fast babies grow! The heartbeat was 160 BPM, pretty fast. I really just can't wait until I get to know the gender.. so I don't have to keep saying "baby", it's not a big deal, but will make it more personal.. I think. On a better note.. I don't have any nausea anymore! I'm just hungry all the time instead of not wanting to eat. Better than not eating! I hope everyone else is doing great too! I will keep you guys posted :D

What up, my pregnant homies? Today Kelli and I (Joe) went to see our OB/GYN. Kelli has gained 9 lbs. so far in her pregnancy, which the doc said was right on the money (high-fives all around). The jerk in the lab, who had to take Kelli's blood was a little rough with the needle... He decided to stick the needle in her arm and then poke and prod around until he found the vein in Kelli's arm. This guy was really old, so, our assumption was that he was going to be an expert, but the only thing he was an expert in was causing pain and eventual bruises. The blood test was for Fetal Protein something or other was to check for holes in the spine of the bundle of love, which hopefully are nonexistent. We prefer solid spines up in here (woo woo). However, we love our baby, if it turns out to be a spineless jelly fish. No worries, only love, thats how we roll. The best news is, however, that we will be able to schedule our next ultrasound after we hear back about todays blood test. So, we are waiting for a call, and then the veil of mystery around the gender of our morsel will fall shortly thereafter. Excitement is overflowing, and the anticipation is killing us. Next on the agenda of parenthood and baby-baking, is to purchase our first gender based outfit. In two weeks, we will have a gender, and a name for our baby. I can't wait and Kelli...... Patience is not her strong suit, she may hold up the hospital and make an ultrasound tech tell her the gender any day now. Let us hope it does not come to this. Please pray for Kelli, her intentions are honest and good, but her patience is in the negative. Until next time, may your baby-baking be the sweetest time in your life, and may you enjoy every minute. - Joe (P.S. Baby's heartbeat was around 154 BPM)

On Friday, Joe felt the baby kick! I can feel the baby moving around mostly when I am laying on my back, which can be very uncomfortable for breathing haha. Otherwise I have been feeling the baby move every single day.. very nice and reassuring. Our gender scan is on April 1st! Two more days :D I was at first feeling that we were going to have a boy, but now Joe and I both feel that it's going to be a girl. A change of heart for us I guess. When we find out we are going to tell everyone and then go shopping for our first gender based outfit! I can't wait.. there is some really cute stuff out. My appointment is at 9:45 am and Joe doesn't get off of work until 2:00 pm.. that is going to kill me haha. Lately, I have been having a lot of garlic pickles, cranberry juice, and Mexican food. Yum! I could really go for some Mexican food now! I just don't get sick of it. Muscle cramps are killing me at the moment. Our doctor said to eat more banana's, which I have been. And then they just come right back.. of course. Other than that everything is going really well. I hope all of you are doing well too and I will keep you posted when we find out the gender!!!
~April 2~
Well.. It's official! Joe and I are having a BOY!!! Our first feelings were right. He wasn't shy about showing the goods either lol. His heartbeat was 149 BPM. Joe and I are going to name our son Milo.. the middle name Fender is up in the air right now. We both really like it.. but if we find a different name we like better we'll change it. I posted a few pics from the ultrasound.. if you wanna check them out :D Joe and I went to Target yesterday to buy our first BLUE BOY outfits/clothes, which was sooo nice! We would always peruse the baby section wanting to buy something pink or blue.. and now we know which to buy! It's kind of disappointing trying to find boy clothes that don't have sports on them.. I may sound really weird.. but we aren't into that.. at all! We found classic pooh outfits and this really cute jumper type outfit that has dinosaurs on it. I think that is all for now! Best wishes to you all!!
