Hey All,

Well this is our 1st baby were both expecting and we are sooo excited =) It wasn't planned but it wasn't a mistake either as we were going to try for a Baby at Christmas time this year anyway, so our's and our parent's big xmas present came early i suppose lol... We still can't believe it's real, it was unbelievable but when we went for our 12 week scan (09/07/07) we realised it was lol. Everyone is so pleased for us and can't wait til the little one arrives as it's both our parents first grandchild... Were so happy everything is ok with our baby so far after the 12 week scan! We go for our 20 week scan on the 28th August and can't wait, plus we get to find out the sex and i'm hoping for a Girl =) but will still be pleased if it turns out to be a Boy! All in all we aren't bothered what sex our Baby turns out to be as it's our first but we both really want a nice, healthy, good growing baby and no problems (so fingers crossed).

Well we went for our 20 week scan today and it was Amazing! It is unbelievable what is growing inside of you when pregnant that you see on the scan screen and at times you can't even feel the incredible movement! My Baby was all over the place on the u/s but i didn't feel a thing lol. We are soo pleased to say that our Baby is still very fit and healthy and all is perfect with the growth and use of the organs, so that's a relief. Our Baby was asleep and relaxed at first so we were in there for quite a while trying to wake it up and move it around as it's face was facing my back and the woman couldn't get a good profile, but we got there in the end lol. We found out the sex and i'm very very glad to say we are having a GIRL =) lol I was over the moon! and couldn't stop Smiling =) Dean was hoping for a Boy (as all lads do lol) but he's still as pleased as ever with his little Girl (Daddy's Girl lol) as long as she's healthy and no problems we didn't care what we were having in all. We didn't get a 100% accuracy but you could easily tell it was a Girl so really we just can't wait now til she pops out and i really do hope she does just pop out HaHa!

Hey All... We went for our 4D Scan today and it was Incredible! We couldn't believe how life like our Baby was! She was all comfy and relaxed at first and would only move her feet, arms and hands, but then we got her moving about and she started opening her eyes and mouth which was Amaing to see. She started stretching and yawned a little too so she must have been tired lol. We seen her squint her eyes and frown also. Everyone says she looks just like me when i was a Baby, nose, mouth, chin, shape of the head everything facial wise and when we got a clear picture of her relaxed and sleeping my Mam said it was just me lying asleep in my cot when i was a Baby =) sooo cute she looked. We asked the Man doing the scan to check if we were definately having a Girl and we are =) so were really pleased about that and we have the name Kaitlyn picked for her. He then checked the size of her head and all the organs, ribs, spine and all that stuff and everything was Great so were Happy about that too. He told us her weight was 2lb 8oz at the minute which is a spot on weight for how far on i am (which is 27.3 weeks pregnant) so he told us she should weight the average weight of 7lb so many oz at birth depending on if i have her early or on the estimated due date that i was given which i think i will because im carrying real low now. Anyways i have put some pictures up of the 4D Scan on my photos so feel free to take a look!

Well my Baby Girl is finally here =) She is an absolute beauty. My labour was terrible and i didn't have a good time at all, i was in labour for almost 40 hours and it was very tiring, i had Diamorphine as i was absolutely shattered and needed rest before i could do anything (pushing wise) but i regretting having that because it stopped my contractions for 3 hours, but Midwife said i needed it to get rest. When i came back round from the pain relief, contractions were going strong again but i started being sick and drained myself so i then became a little dehydrated, it seemed like it was just all getting worse for me. I was 3cm dialated 9oclock on the friday night then wasn't the full 10cm til 3oclock into the saturday morning and thats when the pushes really started and i couldn't come to push hard enough what with having the Diamorphine and being sick alot so the pushing went on til 5.35am and that was when she came out =) it was absolutely amazing... all pain and agony just vanished and there i had my little precious bundle of joy looking up at me =) i felt on top of the world, it's the most wonderful feeling ever!!!
