I'M PREGNANT AGAIN!! WHOA!!
I'm very excited with this pregnancy. My husband, Johnny, and I are blessed with a son named Brayden Phillip that is 2 years old. I gave birth to him on July 13, 2006. I had a rough pregnancy with him. I had gestational diabetes with him and am concerned I'm going to get it again with this pregnancy. I've never been overweight, but diabetes runs strong in my family, so it was something I was determined to get. I was finally induced with my son 1 1/2 weeks early because they thought he was going to be a 9-10 pounds, which would have been a stress on my tiny 5 foot even body. 6 hours of labor, Brayden finally arrived, being just 6 pounds 8 ounces! Just a little off on that weight estimate! He is the perfect kid I always hoped to have. It has the cutest strawberry blonde hair with deep blue eyes. He looks nothing like my husband, who has brown hair/brown eyes, and I get teased a lot about it. But we know that the baby is his.
I'm very excited to see what this baby is going to look like! I had my ultrasound on July 16th, and we found out that it is going to be another little boy! My husband and I are having a hard time coming to an agreement on the name, but I like Elijah or Isaiah for the first name. My husband likes Christiano or Dante as the first name. Middle name will definitely be named after my husband, Johnny.
Well, I don't think I'll win the "lottery" again and get enough red headed child, but I sure hope he can also have those cute blue eyes that run in my side of the familiy. My due date is November 21st, so I will just have to wait until then to find out!!

thanks for your response, I am so curious! I didn't have GD with either of my girls, but, I wasn't checked either, they didn't test younger mothers back then I guess (14 years ago).
But with my first, I gained 20 lbs and she was 8 lbs and I gained a ton more with my second and she was 7 lbs... So who knows.. I still like trying to guess!

hi! i'm actually feeling great ... little more fatigued now that she's getting bigger, but other than that no complaints. i love that she's big enough now that i can feel almost every little movement ... it's fun to watch my tummy ripple. how's your pregnancy going -- sorry to hear about the GD and bedrest =\ will you be off bedrest soon? hope you have things to keep you entertained =) ttys!

ya i got tested at 9 weeks failed my hr n passed the 3 hr. the i did it again at 26 weeks failed the hr n passed the 3 hr. everyone in my family has diabetes. so they thought for sure id have it! i still need to watch my self. u be carful! and dnt worry like u said...ur baby boy is heath and growing! take care mama!
