Woo so 11 weeks and 3 days today!! I am so excited to be almost out of the 1st trimester! It has been hell! I have never been so sick in my life! But now that I am on Zlofran I am starting to get excited! I've had two ultrasounds and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat at the last one. Have another one on Feb. 1st! My husband and I are so excited! Congrats to everyone!
Jan. 30th.- I heard that sometimes they can tell the babies sex after 12 weeks. Is this true? I have an utlrasound on Friday and would LOVE to find out! I don't think I can wait until I'm 20 weeks! That's insane!! So I think we have the names picked out, for a girl Layla Louise and a boy Harper Luke. What'cha think?

Feb. 11th: So the last appt. went good. They couldn't tell anything about the sex. I guess I am really going to have to wait until 20 weeks. So lame, I think because I found out at like 4 weeks or something that this feels like forever away! Anyways had some blood work done, but I still haven't heard back from the Doc. I guess no news is good news. I guess that's it, my next appt is Feb. 29th and I will be almost 17 weeks, wonder if I can talk the doc into another ultrasound....
Feb. 27th: Get your bags packed early just in case you need them. Make sure your partner has a phone available when he's away because this baby just might come early. We predict your baby will come 2-3 weeks early. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 7.3 pounds and that your labor will be about 12 hours long.
A 50% chance... DUH!
March 4th: More!
Congratulations!
You have a 47% chance of having a boy.
And you have a 52% chance of having a girl.
Get ready for the new man in your life! Based on your answers, the wives tales predict that you’ll be having a boy.
Are you and the wives tales right? You said you thought you were having a girl.
Did you know that a study done on pregnant women found that moms-to-be were right in guessing the sex of their baby 71% of the time? Guess it’s true that mom really does know best!
So today is the big Ultrasound day!!! I can `t wait, the baby better show the goods!!!
Thursday, March 27th!
It's a GIRL!!!!!!
Tuesday, April 1st
Last night was the 1st time my Hubby got to feel our little girl move! He was super excited! She kicked him three times! It was so cute to see his eyes get all big! And for the last few weeks I have been trying to get him to feel her, but as soon as he would touch my tummy she wouldnt kick anymore so now he knows I am not crazy! She really does kick me all the time! :) Sunday is our first wedding anniversary and hopefully the weather is nice, weve planned a nice hike around the Palouse Falls so hopefully this dang snow will stop! I am so tired off it! Well Happy April!
Wednesday April 23rd
I looked down last night and realized I can't see my toes anymore... Pretty exciting!
Thursday May 8th
Haven’t updated in awhile, not too much is going one I took my glucose test today. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gong to be but I hate getting poked with needles. I normally am a big baby and have to have someone there to hold my hand but since it was in the middle of the day I didn’t have anyone who wasn’t working. So I sucked it up and went. It was over fast but hurt. We painted the nursery this last weekend. It turned out really cute and only spent $26.00 on paint and supplies! Layla’s grandpa is hanging up the chair rail that will go all the way around the room on Sunday while my mom and I get pedi’s. I ordered the crib, changing table and dresser set the other day! I can’t wait till it gets here! I wish when you ordered things online everything came like next day! Oh at my last doctor’s appt my doc told me that my placenta is measuring low… Not sure what the mean exactly but he said it was no problem but that he wanted to look at it again so I’m going to get an extra ultrasound! I can’t wait to see her again!
Thursday May 21, 2008
Tomorrow is my extra ultrasound! Hoping Layla is still a girl! Since we are finished with her room! :) I don't think a little boy would enjoy a lavender room. Other then that everything is going good. I feel like I am in like the happy middle stage of pregnancy I am finally not sick anymore and not too big and uncomfortable to not be able to do things. Besides being annoyed really easily I think it’s going well! Tomorrow I am down to 80 days until my due date!! I can’t wait to have her!!!
Friday May 23, 2008
Ultrasound went good, it was long and boring and so hot in that room! I had to lay on my back forever and it was killing me. But Layla is still 100% a girl and doing great! My doc was learning the new ultrasound machine so there were two extra people in the room, so they were just showing him this and that it was kind of annoying. I really like it when the ultrasound tech is the one who does it. She points things out and it’s just much more interesting. I have a regular check up on June 6th so then we will discuss if my placenta is still measuring low. Have a great 3 day weekend!
Thursday June 12, 2008
So my last doctors appt was last Friday everything is looking good. The placenta fixed it’s self! I am now to every other week appts. And just counting down the days till we get to meet her! Can’t wait! Oh my baby shower was last weekend! It was a lot of fun, even though it got rained out and we had to quick move it to my house! Layla got a TON of clothes!! Gees! I don’t think she is going to be able to wear them all before she grows out of them!
Tuesday July 8, 2008
Update, not much it update on but oh well. Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! I am days away from my month countdown and can’t wait to have Layla!!! I keep telling her she can come anytime after the 20th when we hit 37 weeks! I hope she’s listening cause I am pretty much over being pregnant! Yeah that’s pretty much all I’ve got! Hope everyone else is doing well!

Although some disposables are said to be biodegradable; in order for these diapers to decompose, they must be exposed to air (oxygen) and sun. Since this is highly unlikely, it can take several hundred years for the decomposition of disposables to take place, with some of the plastic material never decomposing. Books you're reading:: A few different ones, what to expect and one my doctor gave me…
