Introduction
Hi there! My name is Kristen. I live in St. Louis, MO. This is my third pregnancy, hopefully my second succesful pregnancy. I am married to my dh Rob (03/22/03) and together we have a beautiful daughter, Zoe Mae (05/07/04).
February 6, 2008 Appt.
The appt went well! The baby's heartrate is 183bpm. At the last ultrasound it was 109bpm, the tech said that the baby's heart was probably just starting to beat at that point. Dr. Glass told me that the ultrsound looks great and my chance of miscarriage has now gone down to 3%, which is as low as it will get! So, after our appointment, we went out to buy Zoe a book on becomming a big sister. We bought, "What to expect when your mommy is having a baby". Then we picked her up from school, took her home and told her. She is SO excited! We had to read the book two times in less than an hour! She did get upset at the thought that it could be a brother, but she understands that it is God's decision, and now she says that it will be okay.
Later in the evening I went to the bathroom to pee. When I came out of the bathroom, she looks at me and says, "Mommy, is the baby still in your belly"? I said, "Yes, the baby is going to be in my belly for a long time". She says, "Silly me, I thought that when you would go pee that the baby would fall out of your vagina".
So, all is well, she is excited and I am relieved!
February 25, 2008
I had another u/s today because I had some light bleeding and pretty bad cramps last Friday. I was so worried all weekend! The u/s went great! Baby is doing very well! The heart rate is now 163 bpm, which is great! I was worried since it slowed since the last appointment, but the U/S Tech assured me that it is very normal for it to do that. So now, once again I am relieved! Hopefully, there won't be anymore scares for me!

You are so lucky to be given a date already..... i don't know when the twins they normally don't let you go any further then37 weeks which means 14 weeks left for me fingers crossed!

Congratulations on having a boy. My daughter was upset too when she found out we were having a boy. We told her the same thing, that god decides. She seem to be ok with that decision. What book did you get your daughter about being a big sister? I have been looking and havent found one I liked yet.

Snap check up for me.. my next scan is in May.
Oh my god i would have been so worried not hearing the heart beat that is why i haven't brought one of those doppler as i woul be parnoid all the time!

I still have cramping. Saw doc today and he said it's normal. Just growing and stretching. Only to worry if I have vaginal bleeding.

Its os nice to get away and relax and Zoe will love Disneyland, make sure you wear comfy shoes all that walking!!!
I feel awful my sickness has got really bad... don't know what i want to eat and just feel sick all day long. Thought you were suppose to feel better in your 2nd trimester?
My next appointment with my midwife is on the 2nd April when i will be 16 weeks, can't wait and hopefully i will get to hear the twins heart beat!!!

I don't have another scan now until i am 21 weeks... seems like ages away but i am sure it will fly by (i hope)
Got back from 2 weeks in mexico yesterday felt great all holiday apart from a couple of days, but since being back home i have started to feel sick again! but loads of energy...
Still don't know what i want to eat tho!

Thanks for the feedback, kristenk! I decided that I am going to have her over for dinner and tell her that I would like to do something for the wedding, just not be a bridesmaid. I hope she isn't too upset about it. oh well...I am sure she will get over it. Thanks again!!!

i found a lot of stuff at old navy in the store you can find great sale items i got a few pairs of pants for really cheat. also Wal-mart has some jeans but if you are larger then an 16/18 don't bother, they will only last a few more weeks i think, but you can always try them on and figure out how they will fit.
