It's a boy!!

Hi everyone!! This is my first pregnancy and we are so excited!! We just got married December 1st and we knew what we wanted! ...and lucky us it worked on the first try! Best wishes to all!!

March 18th

The doctor's appointment was quite an experience!! They found the heartbeat almost immediately and everything looks good! The baby measures closer to 9 weeks rather than 10.5 like I had calculated - but all is well. Thanks to the birthcontrol wacking me off a 'normal' schedule. I'm going to try and get my little bub's picture on here. I will miss all of my 10 week friends! If you guys can give me a heads up on things I would appreciate it! =) Good luck to all!

March 24

Ok everyone - I am looking for some help... I think my due date is wrong! I can't calculate it out to what the doctor said! My last period started Jan. 2nd - and they are telling me I'm due Oct. 20th! Can anyone figure this out? I'm thinking the 13 or 14th at the latest! It's driving me nuts! Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

April 21

Even though it has been awhile, nothing really has changed! I still don't look pregnant, still don't feel pregnant. We went to the doctor April 15th and all is well. We heard a heartbeat of 140 (so we are thinking a boy) which is fine by me and of course my hubby! We find out on May 15th only three or so more weeks of guessing!! Hopefully I'll have more interesting details nextime!

Hey I saw your question about body pillows. I am a stomach sleeper as well and its been torture trying to sleep since my belly has grown. I wake up over and over all night with sore hips, arms, legs and asleep limbs. I bought a body pillow and tried it out but it was so uncomfortable for me. My hip and shoulders still geot sore and i'd be too asleep to move the body pillow with my body when I turned to the other side. It really felt big and in the way. So my body pillow was used once and its been in the closet ever since. I still wake up in the night but I use a couch cushion to take the pressure off my legs and hips. Just a regular square cushion and put it between my knees. Its works the best out of everything ive tried so far. I sleep a bit better.

I think we feel sensitive as its totally new experience and its like the unknown. We will worry and will feel crap at times i suppose.
Yes the pillow i have is called a dreamgenii pregnancy pillow. I tried attaching a pic to this message to show u the exact one but it wouldnt let me. Whats ur email? i can email one if you want? Its the full slightly bent one with back support piece. Fab!!
I will have a peep at your travel system in second.
Our house is like a town house, split on 3 floors, come in and have kitchen lounge and clockroom, then sec level have our bedroom and main bathroom and study, then top 2 spare rooms. Babies room will be one of these. But for first few mths they reccommend baby is in your room anyway. Then i suppose investing in good listening in system would be a diffinte. Get the ones with light movement lights too aswell as sound, you can not only see then in the night but apparently they are best. (hope this helps)

sounds like you had a nice weekend. Ours was quite and fab. Thou sunday i did start to feel lil ill. Just had a nice lil kip this afternoon, still feel crap thou!

i have a pillow, its fab! soooooo much better to sleep with. I always slept on belly. obviously now we cant i was sleeping bad to until i got my pillow, there are different ones. dont get the L or V shape they are rubbish xx

I'm feeling fine, just a little uncomfortable at night, prob time for a pregnancy pillow. I never did have any nausea or sickness. As far as showing, I was bloated from week five and now I can't tell if it's bloat or baby belly, I think I just look fat. I can't look in the mirror, I look pretty gross, hehe. I've been feeling stretching pains from the beginning so I'm not really worried about that. You're supper thin, so you probably feel them more. I can't wait to start feeling movement. What week did you find out what you're having?

u never replied to my last email, was awaiting ! lol.
i am ok ta, thou think i have lil flu hanging around, have sore throat and feel bit weak today. Been over my nans, she is 87 tomorrow. I am now supervising the men at work here ! Phil has hung a pic for me ans is now weeding the garden, his friend lee has started decorating the hallway.

what strollerCar seat are you getting?
Yes my ankles have def been swollen this week and my toes, my mum noticed it first.

Having relaxing eve in tonight, we have a realtity show final and i plan on sofa slobbing and watching it all! Phil will be pleased hahahah.
How have u been feeling today? What have u planned for weekend?
Oh i def feel some movement now i am sure if that. fab eh.

My stomach muscles have been hurting too--you're not alone! I've been thinking it feels like I've been working out doing ab crunches... too bad instead of getting strong and toned they're getting stretched out! :)

Well it's finally over. It was not as bad as I made it out to be. Although I still freaked out and they had to drug me LOL. I have not had any pain at all, just a little discomfort and no bleeding, not even spotting. So far I'm doing great and going back to work on Monday. Thanks for your support!

I have been feeling the ripping muscles for about a week. Its the ligaments tearing to make room in there. Sounds great eh.. Mine isnt as bad now but its hurts more when I stand up. When I stand it takes a while for the muscles to stretch back out. ouch..On the bright side, it shouldnt last for too long..

I had my scan today

everything is perfect, we found out we are having a BOY! I was in shock as I convinced myself we were having a girl and it is all new to me, I am sure the shock has passed and am so looking forward to finding a name.

Just on my lunch and thought i reply quickly.
How gorgeous are those pics, u have such a lil bump, so cute. That dress is so pretty. Sounds like you need to recover and will be all week from ur hectic but fun weekend eh!

Aw its so cute that our men put thier hands on, but when will they feel it do you know? Phil lays for 20 mins when i get into bed as thats when i think i feel, still not too sure thou.
Our furniture in Mamas and Papas Murano range. If you search engine it you should see it. Its oak or ivory and wood. We have opted for the oak as can co-ordinate with that bit better we thought. Let me know what u think??
It come with wardrobe, dresser/changer (can take changer off when lil one older then so just a dresser) and cotbed with matress, but definatley be changing the matress as read awful things about saftey on the supplied ones. Have to get the right on not that mass produced ones!!. If you havnt read up on it ill type what i have read to you, let me know.We havent looked into cord banking , have you?? will you do it?

Have you been back for you next scan yet? hows things with ur cervix? Hope ur well.
well back to work in min, only have 3/4 hr for lunch, busy busy!!
oh my sister has given me lots of white new born clothes, sooooo tiny and my friend Carolyn is giving me monitors and a moses basket its from the range we have decided to use in babiesrus, called "i love my bear" sooo cute(she has 9th old, she 41 and not planning any more!) we are lucky.
Guessing u will read this when u wake.

hiya
So hows ur weekend been? Hair all lovely?? I am getting mine done fri eve.(colour and cut)I have had a lovely time so far and still have a day to go, go back to work wed as took aa days leave and added it on to our bank holiday this weekend. Saturday we nipped into town and looked in various shops for baby cots etc and furniture. We have decided to go with mamas and papas murano set. (cot, wardrobe and dresser/changer) Gonna get 20% coupon on ebay and but from home base so should cost us about 300.00 english pounds. Then in the eve we went to a mexican resturant for my friends 31st, gorgeous food. Will be def going back!! yum yum. Sunday we travelled about 50 miles to a store to look for blinds, didnt buy one. Didnt have what i had in mind, oh well keep looking. Today (monday) i am chilling out, cooking chicken to make a fab curry for dinner tonight. Phil is at golf as i type and i am sat here in dressing gown so relaxed!! Tomorro we maybe going to drive 2hrs to a fab shopping centre. cant make up my mind. Phil doesnt mind either way.

So did ur games night go ok? Dress fitted on sat eve??
I do still feel something in belly but not what i imagine it to be(big kicj/thump) I am very unsure or what i feel.
Fab u feel kicks. Onmy scan the lil one was very active but i felt nothing. They said not to worry as everyone different and some pep dont feel up to 22 weeks or even more. Just wish mine were more .

I had water, but do u know completly forgot to get a fizzy drink, thinking thou if i had maybe not had sucha good scan as was already very active. Phil was asking lots of questions, i just laid there !! ahahha He so amazed we both were. he v excited now. My dad gave me alot of money today, total suprise. He is on holiday now for week and knew we would probably head to shops now 20wks and scan ok. Bless him he is soooo generous.

How is ur day going? i am just about to do bit of cleaning then chill for eve, Had my friend over last night totally tired me out and we didnt do much at all ahahha.

I do need some belly pictures :o) And I will definitely start putting up pictures of the stuff I bought. I keep buying things that say "Daddy's Girl" or "I Love Daddy." You know like bibes and onesies. Andrew likes those so I get them! I bought a bedding set for the nursery at JCPenny, a department store, and I'm just waiting for it to get here so I can paint the nursery. I also found the furniture I like. I would recommend getting a lifetime crib made of real wood. It changes into different beds and it becomes a full size bed at the end. Plus the matching furniture can be used until the baby goes to college. It's a little more expensive, but it will last a really long time. Just make sure it's a hardwood like birch. I'm starting to show and it seems that she's carrying high. It kind of looks like I have a little ball, haha! Congratulations on the baby boy! Even though I'm showing I still haven't gained any weight and I'm still continuing to exercise. That sucks that you had to stop riding and excersing, but if it's better for you and the baby then it's the best thing to do. I hope the measurement on June 12th goes well and that there are no problems. Hopefully you were just born with a shorter cervix. By the way how was the trip?
