So I guess I need to update this thing, I've been pregnant and on here for eight months and have yet to put anything on here.....So here goes "our story":

My husband and I are both Active Duty in the Army and stationed at Ft. Hood Texas, we found out on Christmas of last year that we were having a baby! The best Christmas present ever!!! I was EXTREMELY tired, I'm talking sleeping ALL day and still tired, I thought it was just a bug... But my suspicions arose when I woke up the next morning with a swollen chest and a bra that didn't fit....Well, the night before everyone was joking that I was pregnant at this point we didn't think I was at all, in fact... we assured everyone that we were positive I was not. So you can imagine my suprise when I woke up with my new "set" on my chest and an all-day date with my pillow... So we decided we should probably go to the store and get a test, ya know just "in-case"...We were at my sister in-laws house celebrating the holidays and had to sneak away from the family to go to the store. When we got home we went straight upstairs and I took the test, he waited in the bedroom. As soon as I saw the plus sign I started doing the whole girly jumping up and down giggling bit and pulled myself together so I could tell him the good news. Before I could even say anything he knew it was positive and had a huge smile on his face....A few months later it was confirmed we were having a GIRL!!!! Everyone we both know to include myself were POSITIVE I was going to give birth to a boy but my husband the ONLY person to believe she was a girl was right!! Now he thinks he's right about EVERYTHING :) But that's most men for you!! It has been a very long road for us with a lot of ups and downs during this pregnancy, Now we are only a few weeks away and very very excited to meet our new bundle of joy!!

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

The midwife just informed me that i will be peeing lots and lots for about a week which is not a good thing when your bits sting like hell after labour so i think i would wanna lose weight than just pee it all out.I have 6 days maximum left till i get induced and im so happy its pretty much over!

i don`t know what relievs them,i guess just sat down may help. but all i would say is your trying to help with lotion i guess thats all you can do..good luck and not long thank god..

hey, I have had pain in some of my worst/bigger stretch marks. they sting a little and especially when I try and rub the stretch mark lotion on them. and I have also had the numbness around my "bellybutton" (or lack thereof). you have to be careful about the numbness- my friend had the same thing and burned her belly on the stove a few times before she noticed!

I can't believe you have to work in those conditions. What if you call the dr office and stress that you MUST talk to a dr. right away? It definitely doesn't sound healthy to work in that kind of environment. Seems like if you pose it as an emergency, a dr would have to get back to you ASAP.

I'm sorry to hear your having such a bad day/week/months...I cant imagine how you feel...What branch are you in? I'm in the Marine Corps and I love our medical. I mean it really doesnt get any better...but then again I'm not having to deal with the whole sick call thing since I'm at an I&I. Well hope to hear from you soon...Another thing. Why are you wearing your sleeves rolled down? Shouldnt they be up since its summer?

Dani1979 - Monday, 14 July
Wait a minute they haven't even put you on half days yet...at least I know my Air Force friends get half days the last few weeks of pregnancy actually when they hit the 3rd trimester I would LOVE half days but being a civilian now that option can be very expensive. I am saving my leave for maternity and really can't afford to take alot of time off....so I pray that we both make it okay....

sapphiregirl - Monday, 23 June
Definately not the only one...Tricare is not exactly my best friend right now lol!!! Well I finally saw the doctor, it only took me getting admitted to the hospital!! Go figure. Oh well I hope everything is going well with you. By the way my brother is at Ft. Hood as well and him and his wife are due the week after me lol.
