hello everyone, my name is katie....im 27 n this is my first baby, me n bf r super excited, he loves talkin to the baby thru my bellybutton n loves that our lil man was is just that a lil man lol...i think i have a good maternal instict but there is SO much to learn about bein prego n newborn babies so that's why i named myself cluelessmommytobe.....i just learned last week u can put socks on the baby's hand so s/he doesnt scratch their face during sleep....who knew? im great w/ kids so im sure ill be a good mommy, just gotta do some momma homework over the next couple of months.....love to all !

***UPDATE*** i changed my name! no more clueless as every day i get more n more info....so instead i changed it to K~teaNewMommy cuz that's how i do lol

***UPDATE 6/17/08*** went to the doc's all is well and my ultrasound is set for JULY FIRST YAYYYY!!! cant wait to see how much baby has grown n find out if its a 'he' or a 'she'!

More....

5/27/08- Went to the Dr's got to hear the heartbeat...what a wonderful sound...spend a lovely weekend w/ my family for Memorial Day..other than that things r movin right along....

4/28/08- Finally got into the new apt...still have a lot of unpacking to do, but got soo much done this weekend....

Can't wait until my next Dr.'s appt...May 20th....other than that just tryin to eat enuf fruits n veggies, sleep sleep n more sleep n play the waiting game....

4/18/08- I got my ultrasound! =) heartbeat is 180bpm....he/she popped right up on the screen, almost to say 'ok ma, stop worryin im right here!' lol

technology is beautiful n amazing.... i kno this pic is a lil blurry but if you look close you can see his/her head on the right and you can see the eyes....that white spec in the middle is his/her heart!
