4 hours!!!???? How in the world did you get him to sleep that long?? The only time Sarah slept that long was when she was first born now if I get 2 hrs..I'm lucky! Tell me what you're doing??? I need to know! I stil most of time feel like a walking zombie! I'm still pumping because it was just too brutal to put her back on me...she sucked so hard that my nipples bled and then got scabs which was not only very painful but gross at the same time. So, she's still getting breastmilk but from the bottle!

I was VERY emotional as well. Got into a few ugly arguements w/hubby because of me but things are much much better now. Hang in there as I will with the sleeping...and I will talk to you soon.

Post pics, I want to see gorgeous Adam!

Ohhhhhh congrats Lori Beth. The c-section part isn't fun...but the baby part is. Aren't these little gifts just so worth all we went through??? When you are feeling up to it...send me your email address...i want to share pictures of Emelia with you. I would love to get together and meet since you live not to far from me. I think that it would be very cool.

hey- how are you? I had my baby girl Mya on my due date after breaking my water. I was induced because my labour didn't start on it's own after that. It was CRAZY- you are right about induction not being so fun! :S I made it through though and now have a beautiful little miracle as a gift for all the work. It has been a little crazy since then, but I am so happy and in love with this little one. I will be posting my story and pics soon. Let me know how you are doing okay!!! :)

Sounds like you're going to have your baby on Sunday! I didn't make it to get the petocin! Thank god because from what I understand that really "brings" on the labor contractions and it can be pretty painful! You'll be fine..I know it!

I do live in NJ..so if you're ever down the Jersey Shore..let me know! You're right, it's not "that" far away!

I hope your labor goes well and I'm thinking of you. When you have your angel please update me and make sure you post pics. Think positive and how you'll be holding your little man in your arms very soon.

By the way...I've been up every three hrs last night and I'm soooo tired! I can barely keep my eyes open! I keep getting told that it'll get easier as she grows! Yeah! Took Sarah to her first well visit on Monday and she now weighs 7.1lbs from 6.8lbs so I guess my milk is doing her good!!

Hey Lori Beth,
I am SERIOUSLY exhausted. Sarah sleeps in 3 hr increments but that doesn't give us the REM sleep that we need so we're all screwed up! I think after I finish here with this msg I'm going to try to take a nap! Anyway, I got induced and within 3hrs I started getting contractions. They gave me the epidural and the doc. failed to put the catherder in the right spot so all the medication went directly to my right leg which of course if my right leg was giving birth...i'd be fine!! But anyway..I ended up having natural childbirth and it only took two hrs to do it! The sleep is what's killing me and my lower back hurts too! Oh man...on the brighter side...Sarah is just beautiful! I love her to death. She was worth every pain in the world!!! I'd do it over and over again! As you can see we are all on cloud nine with her.

You will be fine! Hopefully the inducement will take charge and full effect and you'll be able to have your little guy naturally but you know...a c-sctn is not the worst thing in the world either. As long as he's healthy and you are too all will be good. Too bad we don't live close to one another to share it all together.

I'm praying already for you. I have St. Gerard here and we're working the mojo for you! I'm routing you on and I'm so excited for you! Monday is almost here. Keep in mind the breathing if you go natural ..it really works..and try to stay calm!

Hi I just read your message. I wrote yesterday in the same boat as you. I am due a day before you are but my doctor will not attempt to induce me until I am 10 days past my due date. This has made me depressed. She said that I am not dialating because my baby hasn't engaged yet. It might be because of a small pelvis- so I might have to get a c-section. I am scared shitless, but I just want my baby here safe and sound with me. I wish I would just go into labour now to get the ball rolling. Hang in there and consider yourself lucky that your doctor is willing to try to induce you before hand! :) Keep in touch and let me know if anythign changes for you. Hang in there!

Yes, i am in the same boat. My little boy is due tomorrow and they are wanting to induce within a few days if he is not here. I have an appt tomorrow so i am praying i do not even make it there. I am not wanting all of the added medications with being induced. I scheduled an acupressure massage today (they focus on labor points) to help induce labor. Do you have a pregnancy spa around you? Look up acupressure- you can do it yourself and have your partner help. It is totally safe and it will work (if your body is ready).... in which ours should be!

How are you? This is truly the first chance that I'm getting on going on the pc since the birth of Sara. She is so awesome! We're figuring out on how to get some sleep, it's been a tough week with broken sleep but she's incredible!

What about you? Did you go in yet? If not I know that it must be soon. Please update me and let me know everything!!

I have an ob appnt on Monday too. He's going to check me! It'll be my first "check" yet! So that I'm curious about.

I like your choice for baby's name. Ray...cute! Plus I'm guessing it would after you hubby which I always think is a great idea!

I was in sooo much pain yesterday...all day...my tummy actually hurt, like she is just WAY too HEAVY!! We went to get ice cream and I had a hard time going from car to shop. I'll be nice to get back my once upon a time body back!!!

Our daughter slept over g/friends house last night and is going to Great Adventure with her today, so it'll be nice and quiet here today!! My sweetie pie hubby just finished painting the barnegat lighthouse on her wall..so things are progressing with her room at least!! The sooner he's done with her room, then he'll move on to Sarah's!!
