Hi Everyone!
I am nearly 8 weeks pregnant with our first baby. Felt good up until week 7 and then it all changed! I have been incredibly tired, have not cared much for food (although eating usually makes me feel better), and have the same paranoia as we all have about MC, but am hopeful that as each day passes, Junior gets stronger and stronger. My due date is around the 25th March - my husband's 40th birthday, what a birthday present that will be! Am reading the pregnancy books cover to cover and finding this site a great source of comfort. Good luck to you all with your pregnancies - I look forward to enjoying the journey altogether!

Wow how time flies!!! Am now 21 weeks and cannot believe how quickly time is going. I am really enjoying having my bump and also, now I can feel baby kicking regularly, and re-assured of his/her progress. We have our 21 week scan on Thursday wehn we will find out the sex of the baby, but I think that we are going to at least try to keep it a secret from friends and family so there is some surprise for everyone in March. I am not very good at secrets though and think I will be so excited when I know that I will be bursting to tell people!!!
Hope you are all doing well and feeling good!

Have started some classes this week - yoga and swimming..swimming felt REALLY good, and I am sure if I keep the yoga up it will help me - the teacher made me very aware of my posture and how all of us pregnant woment tend to slouch..it is so true and very hard to stop, but am going to have to practice standing/sitting up straight as backache is starting to be an issue.
Have discovered that the January sales here in the UK are fantastic for getting over-sized bargains...for some reason I had not thought to buy regular clothes but just in bigger sizes, but typically, these sizes are all that are left on the bargain rails at 75% off, so I stocked up on loads of t-shirts and tops in bigger sizes that fit the bump and don't make me look like I am wearing a tent...fab!
Am totally overwhelmed by all the baby kit that you need to buy and do not know where to start...am sure once I have got going it will be fine!
Hope you are all well.. I enjoy this site so much!

33 weeks pregnant! Feeling tired more easily now after going out or doing things around the house. Had planned to make the most of this time off work before the baby comes, but am spending more time each day resting than I thought I would..oh well, I am carrying an extra 20lbs or so, I guess I am allowed! Started ante-natal classes on Saturday with my husband..it was a good day and the classes definitely get you and your partner more prepared for labour and what to expect. Really desperate to get nursery sorted but a lot of it needs constructing from flat packs which I need my huband for and I am no good at things like that - plus some of it is really heavy! Heartburn continues to plague my life..that is one reason I can't wait for the next 7 weeks to be over! Really interested in a water birth so am going to find out some more about that today.
