My best friend Sarah, who had her beautiful daughter Madison in January, introduced me to this site. Omar and I are so excited about the new addition to the family, and can't wait until the end of the summer! I could wait for the summer though, if any of you know or understand "southern" summers!
April 15th - Only two days to go!!!
April 20th - just got back from a wonderful (but short) weekend trip to Mexico to visit the family, and even though there were a few things that didn't get done like we wanted, it was still super relaxing. We have no more plans to travel after this, except maybe a road trip or something close to home. Anyway, yeah, Mexico was fun, as usual, just not long enough!! (As usual lol)
June 12th - OH MY GOD! I have two months left... Even a possibility of less! (Except I hope not -that's too close to my birthday). Suddenly she likes to sit WAY up high. I don't get rib kicks, I get rib head-locks, and then she goes all crooked (sideways) and makes my tummy look all funny and that HURTS! And for the first time....mid-back pain. Time for a pre-natal massage! If I go by a 30 day month, it's only 2 months and 10 days, Geez can she stay in there a little longer? I don't think I'm ready!
June 17th - went for my 31 week checkup. Two weeks ago I was measuring about a week behind. This week, I'm STILL measuring a little small, yet somehow I managed to gain FIVE lbs in the past 2 weeks. I'm wondering how the hell am I still small and yet I've gained 5 lbs? Where'd it go? Meh, maybe it's just water weight. LOL. All is great otherwise. She's head down (she's BEEN head down since day one I think) but she still likes putting her butt on my left side and sticking it out. I think I might be bruised on the inside from all that stretching and pushing she does. It's tender when she pushes on it now. I also and diabetes-free! Had the 3-hour done a week ago and the results actually came back a little low (I've always had low blood sugar). Just gotta maintain and stay off the bad carbs and cals! 9 more weeks. Mom says 8 - that she's coming on the ful moon. Yet Dad said 10 and a half, my grandfather's birthday (31-8-08).

Try a neti pot. I use mine every day. I have always had very bad allergys. I love my neti pot. I acutally have 4 of them for my house. If my allergys are bad from a cold or what ever. I use it 2-3 times a day. You really should try it.

If you rent, it gives you the option of not spending all that money up front, especailly if you do not continue to use it. The hopsital quality ones are like $2500, the ones you buy in the store are like $350.

The breast pumps from the hospital are supposed to be better than the ones you buy. I bought one for my first & second and noticed that it seemed "weaker" as they got older. I am going to rent this time around. Good luck to you.

contractions are way worse than bh. om not trying to freak you out at all, but i want you to be prepared because they are bad! they start out like bh.. but get way worse. i have a high tolerence for pain and they really hurt me, i just hope your getting an epideral..lol once you get that labors great! lol! oh and the epideral, even though it sounds scary... not a big deal at all! much love

i think you can even wait until after your baby is born to buy a nursing bra....last pregnancy i had i kept going up a size every few months and i hate spending money on things that you don't need in the end.....the best bra i bought was one week after my baby was born.......it is okay to wait.

I think you should wait a while longer before getting a nursing bra. I bought one a few weeks ago and it totally doesn't fit me anymore. Im going to wait until I actually start nursing just in case. Mine went from 34B to a 36 D and the D cup is starting to feel tight already!! Bras are too expensive! Motherhood maternity sells nursing bras for really cheap! I think mine was about $16. If you don't have one in your area though, I would hold off.. You really need to try their bras on instead of buying over the internet. They seem to run a little smaller than Target's or Victoria Secret's.

it is soooo much easier said then done. i think i can slow down to 2 or 3 but i dont think i will be able to cut it out all together. like you said, i like it too much. lol. i smoked with my daughter, and i smoked a lot with her, of course i was young and dumb, but she was healthy, is hardly ever sick, never had any asthma. she is perfect. but... not every case is the same which is why i am goin to try it. thanx for the kind words tho. much blessings your way!!

My sister and mother were going to plan my shower, but my mother doesn't live in my city and my sister is somewhat useless at planning things and I knew it wouldn't get done unless I stepped in...so I did. The party is at my house and I got all the decorations yesterday. All I need to do is order the catering.
My sister did send out all the evites, and she'll pick up the cake and the balloons the day of.
I know it's easier said than done but try not to stress out about it.

Hey.. sorry your baby shower driving you crazy.. but let me say I TOTALLY HEAR YOU.. I have 5 showers and the only one that is going smoothly is my work one.. crazy.. Tell your parents how you are feeling.. as nice as possible. That's the only way I think you will feel better.. I hope it works out!

I am so glad it isn't just me. You are 4 weeks ahead of me too!
I was in Walmart yesterday and the cashier said "when are you due?" I said "September" and she just looked at me and said "oh."
I thought the next question would be if it is twins or like you your going to have a big baby. LOL
This is my 3rd child and all my kids sit right out front like "Here I Am!"
I am due Sept 14th, but am having my C-section on Sept. 3rd.
I swear I am going to start lying to stranger that I am due sooner so they leave me alone :-)

For your glucose test----I am in Texas, but I know this center is all over the U.S. My doctor sends me to a place called QUEST. Some of their offices are open on Saturdays. You can go online and google "Quest Diagnostics". Then you can try to see if there's a location near you that's open on Saturdays. Then, you just may have to have your doctor provide them with the order information. Good luck!

yeah i was pretty sure i needed antibiotics too.its just awsome timing too cause its the long weekend here and all the dentists just couldnt wait for tomorrow and took off today! lmao....so i spent three hours in emergency this morning waiting to be seen,and i could clearly see they were letting woman in that were not as sick as i was....so what did i do? i went to the main desk and said im "feeling lightheaded" ....well they saw me right away after that! nobody wants a prenant woman fainting on their watch! haha.....serves them right!!!
