My best friend Sarah, who had her beautiful daughter Madison in January, introduced me to this site. Omar and I are so excited about the new addition to the family, and can't wait until the end of the summer! I could wait for the summer though, if any of you know or understand "southern" summers!
April 15th - Only two days to go!!!
April 20th - just got back from a wonderful (but short) weekend trip to Mexico to visit the family, and even though there were a few things that didn't get done like we wanted, it was still super relaxing. We have no more plans to travel after this, except maybe a road trip or something close to home. Anyway, yeah, Mexico was fun, as usual, just not long enough!! (As usual lol)
June 12th - OH MY GOD! I have two months left... Even a possibility of less! (Except I hope not -that's too close to my birthday). Suddenly she likes to sit WAY up high. I don't get rib kicks, I get rib head-locks, and then she goes all crooked (sideways) and makes my tummy look all funny and that HURTS! And for the first time....mid-back pain. Time for a pre-natal massage! If I go by a 30 day month, it's only 2 months and 10 days, Geez can she stay in there a little longer? I don't think I'm ready!
June 17th - went for my 31 week checkup. Two weeks ago I was measuring about a week behind. This week, I'm STILL measuring a little small, yet somehow I managed to gain FIVE lbs in the past 2 weeks. I'm wondering how the hell am I still small and yet I've gained 5 lbs? Where'd it go? Meh, maybe it's just water weight. LOL. All is great otherwise. She's head down (she's BEEN head down since day one I think) but she still likes putting her butt on my left side and sticking it out. I think I might be bruised on the inside from all that stretching and pushing she does. It's tender when she pushes on it now. I also and diabetes-free! Had the 3-hour done a week ago and the results actually came back a little low (I've always had low blood sugar). Just gotta maintain and stay off the bad carbs and cals! 9 more weeks. Mom says 8 - that she's coming on the ful moon. Yet Dad said 10 and a half, my grandfather's birthday (31-8-08).

hey, this is regarding what you posted in week 38.. I've been having the same kind of contractions... really painful last night except mine were 4 and 5 min apart, so the advice nurse told me to go to the hospital (I'm also 3 CM and 95% effaced). About getting hopes up, yeah, I asked the nurse if she thought I might deliver soon and she was just like "who knows you could go to week 41." Hah. Great. Right?

I've been having some gassy feeling pains too. I'm actually having them now. It comes and goes. My tummy is tight and I just have some much pressure these days. I actually feel like I have a lot more pressure in my butt area too (TMI sorry). I couldn't be so lucky to have my little guy early.

Try a neti pot. I use mine every day. I have always had very bad allergys. I love my neti pot. I acutally have 4 of them for my house. If my allergys are bad from a cold or what ever. I use it 2-3 times a day. You really should try it.

If you rent, it gives you the option of not spending all that money up front, especailly if you do not continue to use it. The hopsital quality ones are like $2500, the ones you buy in the store are like $350.

The breast pumps from the hospital are supposed to be better than the ones you buy. I bought one for my first & second and noticed that it seemed "weaker" as they got older. I am going to rent this time around. Good luck to you.

contractions are way worse than bh. om not trying to freak you out at all, but i want you to be prepared because they are bad! they start out like bh.. but get way worse. i have a high tolerence for pain and they really hurt me, i just hope your getting an epideral..lol once you get that labors great! lol! oh and the epideral, even though it sounds scary... not a big deal at all! much love

i got a couple of tank tops from thyme maternity that have extra support and are made for nursing.....they r good cuz they expand with you!
