Hi, I am 41 years old and was quite shocked when I find out I was pregnant. I have 2 beautiful, fun children. Emma who is 8 and Luke who is 6. Both are a joy and excited we are having another. Although Luke was a bit upset when he learned it was a girl...... Because of my "advanced maternal age" there are concerns of chromosone problems. I had an amnio ( which I didnt with my first 2) and results came back as normal. I was so excited I didnt hear everything else they had to say. I actually had to call them back to confirm !! So now I can relax and enjoy the pregnancy a bit more. I am very active and healthy so this is a huge help to me. I continue to pray all goes well and in October we will bring our new baby girl home.
