I'm Layla... Pregnant with #3
I have two boys, aged 3y10m and 1y8m and recently found out that I am expecting my third baby... It was quite shocking to say the least, totally unplanned and I was on contraceptive , so needless to say, the past few weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster for me... and then there's the all-day nausea, it's really getting me down...

I'm in my 10th week and the nausea is definitely not letting up. It's so much more intense than with my boys! Maybe this one's a little girl :-) I'll be happy either way - boy or girl - or both! We haven't told anyone, although I'm not sure how long I'll be able to hide it. I started showing very early with my boys.

today is the start of week 12 - still nauseous all day! When will it end??? It's really exhausting. I am scheduled for my nuchal scan on Thursday 22/11. Can't wait to see my little one, I just hope baby is healthy and growing like he/she should...

Well I've made it to Week 18... But I'm also booked off on bedrest due to an irritable uterus and some spotting. I'm considered high risk due to Riyaaz being born at 34 weeks and Zayde at 31 weeks, so they'll be watching this baby closely!
My nuchal scan at 12 weeks went well, everything was fine. Doctor thought he saw little man parts between the legs but at the 16 week scan he wasn't so sure anymore. Now i have to wait until February 7th to find out for sure if it's going to be baby boy #3 or a little baby girl to complete our family...
This is my big boy - RIYAAZ - he will be four in a few days time!!!
And this is ZAYDE - my youngest - He's 21 months!!!

It's official - We're having another little boy! Very definitely a boy if the scan is anything to go by... He's healthy and weighs 550g at almost 24 weeks... All is well in my world, I'm feeling good, except for lots of pressure but baby is very low according to the doctor, so that would explain all the aches and pains especially at night...

hey there! hows' the audit going? i'm still stressed but trying to relax at home - really need to sort out this work situation but it seems like my doctor will book me off till the birth.
on teh brighter side - my baby girl is kicking so much lately and really strong so my hubby is getting to feel her all teh time - it really cheers me up! how r u feeling? :)

if u're wondering why i've been so quiet - it's becos my doc booked me off work for a week due to stress - i'll b back on the 18th. thank goodness my parents have come to visit so tht gets my mind off things cos they're trying to feed me lots and take good care of me. hope u and ur baba are fine. take care.

Hey thanks for your comment! Yeah, I kind of feel like a ticking time bomb. I really had no indication of preterm labor with my daughter, my water just broke and there was no stopping her. I am hoping these 17-P injections are going to help but really they never new the reason my membranes ruptured. Are you still on bedrest? I was just reading your profile. Well, take care and it is great the docs can watch us more closely! I am trying to stay calm and have faith but every little twitch or pain or BH contraction worries me :) Congrats to you!

hey there - hope u had time and energy to unpack so tht u can play with ur babies and rest. the swelling should defn go down during sleep but i find even my back ache doesnt go away by the morning - i'm going to start yoga this evening - hopefully tht will help.

hey there! hope the house moving isnt too hectic for u...but i also hope tht u love ur new place. we decided to put off moving house till the baby is born becos i hate moving!
i'm also stressed at work by immature and unprofessional girls here and am contemplating getting stress leave becos it is getting to be too much for me to handle on top of back ache, swollen feet and first-time mom anxieties. i will try to keep positive tho..and i'm looking fwd to the weekend!

my pregnancy is going well - i'm having more and more aches and pains but i'm learnign how to sit/walk and sleep to reduce pains. i just love the feeling of my little one kicking and despite having loads of work stress at the moment and being far away from my family - a little kick from my baby girl just cheers me up and reminds me to be happy for her.
how r u doing? i hope ur boys are all being good. :)

Hey there! congrats on ur baby boy! :) i'm having a little girl...so tired this morning had a tiff with my hubby last night cos he says i was snoring and taking up too much space on the bed with my extra pillows...i was so upset i started crying adn he ended up sleeping on the couch! he just doesnt realise the aches and discomforts of being pregnant...we were okay this morning but i really need to get him to wake up to the fact tht pregnancy makes life very different for the mum. enough venting...back to work. :)
