I had my water broken to induce labor at 12:30, I was monitored for an hour then sent home, if nothing happened over night I had to come back in the morning for a pitocin drip. My hubby and I went for lunch then headed home, we sat at home for about 20 minutes and I started having contractions 5 minutes apart. We headed back to the hospital, checked in at 4:30 and baby was born at 5:03. It was very quick but quite painful, she was 7lbs 14oz over 2lbs larger than my other kids so pushing was a little longer than my last 2 babies, but she is perfect in every way. My doctor and the nurses said I was the poster child for the labor and delivery ward, it was a textbook delivery in every way except I was about 4 hours quicker than most. Everyone was doing so good that we were allowed to go home after 4 hours, all in all it was a wonderful experience!

Well I am at week 15. Starting my second trimester. This pregnancy has been so different than my other two. I had never had morning sickness before, I was never so tired and exhausted from doing nothing, I always had headaches though. I think the worst thing about this pregnancy is how big I feel, and I don't think I look that big even, I just know how I looked with my first two. I was 7 or 8 months pregnant before you could even tell I was pregnant, even though I did gain the proper amount of weight. This time, I went to Dr's two weeks ago and lost 5 pounds, but it must be coming off somewhere and going directly to my stomach, because I look now like I did at about 6 or 7 months along with the other two. I think when I go back to Dr's in two weeks I will see a significant weight gain! Not that I am eating crappy food, I just have cravings for bread and pasta, and for some reason WonTon Soup. Sorry to sound so blah when this is supposed to be a beautiful wonderful period in your life, but the depression kicks in sometimes and you just don't want to look in the mirror. Had my triple screen blood test today, fingers crossed it all comes back fine. Still restless to wait another 5 weeks for my ultrasound. I'm so darn impatient!

17 Weeks: Went to doctor today, my triple screen test came back looking good. Yeah!! Baby's heart rate is 160, my BP is somewhat low but that's normal for me. I had lost about 5 pounds during first trimester, so far I have gained back about 2 1/2 pounds. Dr. tried to measure a fundus height but my stomach was curving in laying down instead of rounding out. He said I looked really small for 17 weeks however the height of the fundus was normal for 17 weeks. It was funny because he said I didn't even look pregnant, a few hours later after I ate a big deli sandwich for lunch a friend commented on how big my belly was getting. I don't have morning sickness anymore but I have become sooo picky on what I eat now. Can't look at ground beef, chicken, pork, pretty much any meat, still craving fruit all the time. Hope you all got my message before about staying away from pineapple. Still incredibly tired now, I pretty much need a nap every afternoon which is so unlike me. But things could be so much worse, so I try to feel positive and happy as much as possible.

18 Weeks: Feeling rather blah this week. It is really hot here and I took the kids to the beach a few times but my lower back and hips are so sore I can't even move most of the day. I feel so bad because the kids can't even go outside to play because we have such bad mosquitos here right now. My cute little baby bump is shrinking I think. I haven't wanted to cook this week due to the heat so we've been having salads and buns for dinner every night and I swear my bump is gone now. I keep looking at pics of people 17 & 18 weeks and they have their bumps from pubic bone and up, my bump when I have it starts above my belly button. That's not even my uterus!!! My baby bump is nothing more than intestines and god knows what else, my fundus is still completely flat. I know I should not worry too much, my last two kids hid in my back through most of the pregnancy, once in awhile they would shift and I would suddenly look huge. Just hope my back feels better, I love my kids to death but having them cooped up in the house all day is making me even more cranky.

Aug 01, Almost 21 weeks, had my u/s and 4D scan done and it's a GIRL!!! I secretly wanted a girl, but I also wished for a boy because I was going to get my tubes tied after this one and now that it's a girl my hubby said I can't until we have another boy. I guess I am just some damn gumball machine you keep plopping quarters into until you get the one you want? He is very happy of course and we got some very cute pictures. Everything is in proportion to each other but she said I was measuring 18wks instead of almost 21. I mentioned I had small babies and she said that was probably it since I know when I conceived. Both my other kids were 5# 10oz. I will probably have to go back later for another u/s to see measurements etc. But all in all a good day!

22wks 5days went for check up today, all was well. Babies heartbeat was 155, I had gained 5.5 pounds in 6wks but she said that was very good since I hadn't gained any weight yet. She looked over the results of my u/s and since the dates were off by more than 10 days she wanted to change my due date, but I know when I conceived and she knows I have small babies. Plus she checked my uterus and it's just above my bell button now which is right for about 21-22wks so she said she would leave my due date for now. Have to go back in 4 wks and after that I am to go every 2weeks, yippee that time already.

Oct 10 - Went for another check up today, everything is looking good. I somehow gained another 4pounds in 2weeks? But my doctor was very happy about that. I am now almost 32 weeks and measuring 30 1/2 weeks and she is very happy about that as well since I actually have a visible bump now and my measurements are catching up. She felt around and said baby is head down, facing my spine, really hoping she stays there for the next 6-8 weeks. She checked my file from my last pregnancy with my daughter and found I only measured at the most 33cm and in my last month I went back down to 31cm, so this time baby looks to be bigger than my last two :)

Oct 29 - Week 33 had my usual checkup, they found sugar in my urine test but since I've been cleared with no diabetes my Dr. wasn't too concerned about it. I am still measuring 2weeks behind but I always did with all my kids so that was normal for me. When my Dr. poked and prodded to check babies position she commented that she could feel all the arms and legs and what not a little too well, she wants me to have another u/s in a week to check my amniotic fluid levels. I tend to have a problem with too little fluid for all my pregnancies, my placenta starts to shut down after 8months instead of 9, but hopefully it won't be too low.

Nov 8 Went for my ultrasound, I think it went well, the tech. doesn't tell you a thing of course, and now I have to wait over a week to see my doctor, I guess if the fluid was too low or there were other problems I would hear from my doctors office before anyhow. While I was getting the u/s the tech said the babies head was so low that she had to go vaginally to get a good image of it, not internally but still I was shocked, should she be that low already? I'm just 35 weeks and it's my 3rd child so now I'm worried I'm going into labor any day. Of course all the cramps and back aches and headaches don't help :)

Nov 12 Had a check up today, now I start going every week! The results from my u/s were fine, my fluid is in the low average range which is good for me. Baby is in the 20th percentile for weight, of course I forgot to ask how much that was in pounds, duh. I somehow gained 5 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks even though I've been having a hard time eating much. Baby is really low so my dr. gave me her home number and pager number in case. Next week I get my internal exam and Strep B test.

Nov 30 Another doctor appt. and still no signs of labor, oh well this is the longest I've been pregnant with any of my kids so that's exciting. I havnt gained any weight in 2weeks but my fundal measurement is 34, the biggest I got with my last child was 33 so hopefully this one will be a little bigger. Strep B test came back fine, now we just wait, ho hum :)

Dec 17 Well had my membranes swept last week, I was a loose 3cm dilated so my doctor assured me I would be having baby some time that week. Still nothing! At my appt today my doctor told me to go to labor and delivery tomorrow for a non-stress test then on Thursday I have to meet her at the hospital and she is going to break my water for me, she figures with my track record of quick labors etc that that's all it will take to make labor happen. Of course for the past three weeks she's been shaking her head every time I have a check-up, she figured I would have had baby weeks ago. So we will see if her breaking my water will make it happen, otherwise I will need the pitocin drip if nothing progresses :( Either way I should have my baby in my arms by Friday!! YEAH.

My baby Ella is 6 months and 7 days old today! I can't believe how fast she is growing. She is smiling, laughing, cooing, pulling and pushing on things, starting to crawl, sitting up by herself for short periods of time, doing something new and adorable every single day...I love her so much! =)

PRETTIEST MOM
Once you have been hit, you have to hit 5 pretty Moms.
If you get hit again, You will know you are REALLY pretty!
So hit 15 pretty moms on your friends list to let them know they are
pretty!
Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her
down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop
the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important
and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to
make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the
wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
Send this to someone who you think is a special Mom.''

It is beautiful! My hubby and I ran off to Jamaica and got married just the two of us, and I wore a gown sort of similar! He wore linen pants and a hawaiian shirt, and I wore a wedding gown! You should definitely wear what you want to wear on your wedding day!
