thanks so much! i was worried because i am freaking out about being able to breastfeed. the last couple of women that i know that tried to do it ended up giving up after only a few months and switching to formula because of problems with milk supply. one of them told me that they did not leak at during their pregnancy, so i thought maybe there might be a connection...

With my first I never had any signs that labor was coming. Only thing that said he was getting ready was that he dropped. That about for about a month I was 2cm dilated and 80% effaced. But I never felt any contractions, never lost my mucous plug and then when he was 5 days late my water broke.

This is my 3rd baby and I don't really remember any cramping or BH with the other 2. Maybe I just didn't notice them but this time I have had both. I can see and feel my belly tightening up at the top and then I have the crampy feeling thats like I'm going to start my period. It's weird. I'm not sure which is what or what they mean. I'm not due until the 31st but my body is telling me a totally different story. Maybe bcuz I'm all stretched out from the other 2!! I lost all my weight but I don't think my body is what it used to be becuz I have been hurting this whole time. Maybe it won't be long!

Everything is going alright...I was diagnosed with preeclammpsia on monday and just got out of the hospital this morning :( I'm on strict bedrest for the next 4 weeks...not fun at all...but the baby is doing great, she's growing and squirming and seems perfectly healthy! Thats definately comforting :) My blood pressure is down, especially since I've been back at home but I have to keep a close eye on it and rush back to the hospital if anything changes. How is everything goin with yoU!? Hope all is well, I'll surely keep in touch :)

It depends. Some offices start weekly appointments at 34,45,or 36 weeks. Some don't do internals untils 36,37,38 weeks. Every office is different. I would ask while you are there today:) I have been checked for dilation, but that is just because I am in PTL.

sorr if its tmi, but since you asked...hee hee...I really have noticed way more frequent trips to the bathroom...#2...its weird...just started a couple of days ago...just thought I'd let ya know you arent alone in that one :)

You know, my right hip has been doing the same thing, it pop out of place and i have to pop it back in, it's painful but kind of funny. We are falling apart LOL. This is just our body adjusting to the arrival of our babies, I guess it's normal and everything will be ok. No pain no gain, right? Take care. Sometimes putting Icy hot helps and the use of a hot water bottle can help too. Bye!!!!

They shouldn't do any interal exams at 32 weeks...that could bring on preterm labor, normally they will stay away from that until at least 36 weeks unless you are having complications. BUT, once you hit 36 weeks you will probably start having weekly interal exams to check your cervix (most Dr.s start that at 36 wks). :)

I would think it would be the same ole' same ole'...however if they have not recieved your records from the other Dr. they may go ahead and do a sono...but I really don't have any idea. I hope that helps. You can always call before your appt. and ask them what the appt. will consist of. Good Luck!
