Update 22/7/08

My god..i cant believe Josh is over 2 weeks old already! He's such a little dream, and Shannon is great with him. Bless her she even comes over and gives him hugs and kisses. Sometimes when I'm winding him she comes over and helps by tapping his back lol.

Poor little Shannon poorly with a severe throat infection..but she's still bein as mischevious as ever..nothing wud stop that lol. She's been on penncillin for 2 days now and seems be pickin up though. (thank the lord lol)

You would not believe how happy i am! I love my life..even if I'm totaly knackered..it's all so very worth it! Anyway i will update again soon, just i find it rather difficult to find the time nowadays.

I'm slighty worried about the size of this baby as im alot bigger now than i was this far on with my daughter! OK..so every morning i get up..feed my daughter..change her bum..make a cuppa..check this fab site...all im worrying about with this pregnancy is how on earth am i going to cope..like i have this little routine goin with Shannon..she plays with her toys while i type away on here..everyone's happy..but what about when there's two? God..i must b mad to have them this close together lol...but if other young mums can do it i can..i think haha!

Lastnight i had to go through ALL my daughters clothes and sort out what was too small etc..(took me 4 hours) after hours or "awww'ing" and "But can we can we keep these stteeven!" but to all my pleading he refused as they will not come in handy for a boy!!! Piled all the clothes in sizes 0-3, 3-6 etc and went to bed..got up this morning it looked as though a bomb had dropped directly in my living room..to my horror at exactly 9:10am a got a knock at the door..it was the repair man..(bare in mind i do not look fantastic on a morning..shannon was trying all ways to pull the hoover onto her head annnd all i could say to him was "excuse the mess") he must have thought i was mad! So after the embaressment of looking like i live in a hovel i had NO MILK for a cuppa! The day..quite frankly cudnt get much worse! (P.S Shannon has been a rather good girl actually..not often i get to say that so ive wrote it down! lol)

The last 3 days ive woken up with a chronic bad back..it kills! I dunno if its the way he's laid or it im going to have this pain the rest of my pregnancy but i didnt have ANY bad backs when i was pregnant with my daughter. A few people ive mentioned it to said they had it when they carried their sons so its not looking good for me! Im not amused! If anyone knows any way i can ease this pain please let me know!!

Hey there ladies! God im 27+2 n its sooo dragging now lol! I cant believe my daughter is 1 on the 27th!!!! (where the hell has the time gone)...i got sum advice to u preggy mamas..enjoy the time their tiny cuz it really duz fly over! Shannon is nearly walking now and doesnt like loads of hugs and kisses anymore (unless u wait til shes asleep then cuddle her haha).

Anyway about this pregnancy..other than it dragging over is going pretty well. Ive only put 1lb on so far so i am very happy lol..i think im also going through a 'nesting' period cuz my house has never been so shiny n clean haha! (am hoping its not just a phase).

My bad backs seemed to have cleared off up to now..(touch wood) apart from needing to pee a few million times a day all is going good. xxx

Well, I had a midwife appointment today..found out that my baby boy is only sizeing up at 28 weeks when he should be between 32-33 weeks (works out a cm a week). So my midwife booked me in for a scan tmoro at 10:30..im so worried though i really hope its nothing serious.

Everyone keeps sayin he's maybe just a small baby but it doesnt put my mind at ease any! Midwife says worst case scenario would be that my placenta isnt working properly resulting in low growth rate which would mean they would like to deliver soon. But now i think im just worrying..spose thats wat mothers do lol. Anyway i'll update tmoro after the scan! Fingures crossed all is ok!! X

Went for the scan on tuesday and everything is FINE! He weighs 4lb 1oz so far and all his measurements are perfect! Very happy, also HE is still a BOY lol..had to have a second check just incase haha! X

Well i dont think my life at the moment can get much more stressful to be quite honest! The past week or so Shannon has been such a lil spoilt brat, i really dont know whats got into her. Fair enough, she's teething..but jesus this girl has got SOME attitude problem on her for a 14 month old!

I think its ever since she started walking! I have no idea how i'll cope when this baby comes!

Anyway..as for pregnancy..nothing much to report! Im struggling to get much sleep on a night..but that is a mixture of leg cramps, shannon and toilet trips. For some reason i wake up dot on 3.30 for half hour then go back to sleep..every night lol!

Anyhow ladies take care i'll update again soon about my devil child lol! X

Hello again ladies, just a twist update lol.

I am getting very sick now, i can NOT get comfortable.. no way - no how! I just cant wait to get my body back! I really do hope this baby decides to make an appearence before his due date cuz i honestly dont think i can handle many more gazillion toilet trips hehe!

I keep getting painful twinges in my bump and butt..apparently its something to do with his head pressing on certain nerves?! Anyway other than the usual aches and pains everything is ok though. Oh and ive FINALY packed my hospital bag! Took me 37 weeks but it's defo done now and waiting! As am i lol!

OH MY GOD! I have super bad thrush and im in total AGONY! I cant sleep for itching and being sore! Had to go through to the hospital to get some pessary and cream for it with all the docs being shut at a weekend.

WHILE i was there the midwife checked baby on monitor as ive been getting contractions..and im 2cm dilated and 50% effaced but im having absolutely no pain..which pee's me of as i want full blown labour now haha!

Anyho she said basically its just a waiting game until i get pain..i just hope my thrush hurrys and goes before babs makes an appearance lol.

Well..still no sign of baby! I'm getting quite strong tightnings now and again but nothing to indicate labour is close :(

On a brighter note my thrush has cleared up (thank god) was a right git that!

I feel like a house end at mo and the stinkin hot weather is NOT helping at all..although ive mannaged to get through alot of my washing lol.

Anyway i hope something happens either tonight or tomorrow cuz i really dont know how much longer i can hold out for..im so drained! Wish me luck ladies.
