Hello. My partner and I are having our first baby. We conceived with IUI using donor sperm on May 1st, 2009. We are very excited, but I am very nervous as this is my first baby and I have no idea what to expect week to week. I am hoping to find other mothers-to-be to relate to and bounce concerns and ideas off of. Good luck all and come on Jan 22, 2010!!!

Pregnancy summary thus far:
BFP - May 14th, 2009
No m/s!! yay!
Brown spotting/low abdominal pain weeks 6-7 - doc said implantation bleeding - u/s fhr 140bpm
Red spotting weeks 7-8 - doc said hematoma from implantation - saw hematoma on u/s. Baby fine.
Severe back pain week 10-11 - doc said sacrioiliac joint pain from elongating ligaments. u/s fhr 176bpm. Has eased up some now in mid-week 11. Feels like sore muscle now.
NT Screen 7/17/09. Doc said all looked great! FHR 157. Hoped to find out sex but it was too early. Gender scan at 19 weeks!
8/26/09 - 20 week scan - we are having a GIRL!! She is healthy and developing right on schedule. (HR 155) We are so in love and cannot wait to meet her in January!

Well Alyssa is here sorry i have not been on i just got out of the hospital yesterday. I posted her birth story if you want to read it go ahead. She is a really good baby. She sleeps so good. Last night she slept in my bed and she slept from 11:30 to 6:00 this morning. I am really loving being a mommy of a newborn and 2 toddlers it is the best feeling in the world. It is so much work but it is all so worth it. I think my kids love her. xoxo robyn

Does the medicine really help you feel better, im at a point where i will take anything, im just tired of feeling this way---im used to feeling down, i cant recall the last time i was happy or what it feels like to be happy

Regarding your comment about baby not being actice, Jaylee isn't super active either. I feel her daily, but I can go for 8-9 hours without feeling her at all. Also, the big powerful kicks are rare. I have gotten maybe 5 of those all together. I do have a anterior placenta. It is common, but my Dr says it masks a lot of the movement. So, I wouldn't be worried. :)

Hey ladies thank you so much for all your nice comments on my blog :D and as for the baby Etnies a friend ordered them from Rollersnakes.co.uk but I think theyve been discontinued (they're called Etnies Fakie Crib's and they come in a set with a baby-grow if you wanna try google!) - But for those in the UK kateskates.co.uk has a load of cute baby Etnies and Vans! :)

This is my second... although my first was 8 yrs ago and I dont remember anything! In alot of ways it has been less stressful but it has seemed soooo much longer. Of course I still have my days of worry.

Awe, that was sweet of her :) Men are soooo not as sweet as women lol... billy just always says, you're not fat your pregnant. Which doesnt make me feel any better b/c lots of pregnant women arent as big as me! Thats awesome that ya'll are gonna have another one right away! I dont think I could stand going that long without a beer lol How long are ya'll gonna wait?

My little guy was not wanting to show the camera anything at our 3D scan Sat. so I have to go back Friday and see if we can make him. He was laying sideways with his face towards my spine. The only good one I have I did post. The tech said it does look like he has hair and Long Dark Eyelashes. If you make the pic big you can see the eyelashes.
