Hello. My partner and I are having our first baby. We conceived with IUI using donor sperm on May 1st, 2009. We are very excited, but I am very nervous as this is my first baby and I have no idea what to expect week to week. I am hoping to find other mothers-to-be to relate to and bounce concerns and ideas off of. Good luck all and come on Jan 22, 2010!!!

Pregnancy summary thus far:

BFP - May 14th, 2009

No m/s!! yay!

Brown spotting/low abdominal pain weeks 6-7 - doc said implantation bleeding - u/s fhr 140bpm

Red spotting weeks 7-8 - doc said hematoma from implantation - saw hematoma on u/s. Baby fine.

Severe back pain week 10-11 - doc said sacrioiliac joint pain from elongating ligaments. u/s fhr 176bpm. Has eased up some now in mid-week 11. Feels like sore muscle now.

NT Screen 7/17/09. Doc said all looked great! FHR 157. Hoped to find out sex but it was too early. Gender scan at 19 weeks!

8/26/09 - 20 week scan - we are having a GIRL!! She is healthy and developing right on schedule. (HR 155) We are so in love and cannot wait to meet her in January!
