He's here!!! I will post a birth story soon. He came in at 6 lbs and 10 oz, 19.5 inches long. I was able to deliver without any pain medicine at all and I'm so thankful it worked out that way. It was a TOTALLY different experience and I actually somewhat enjoyed it, if that is possible!

I am expecting my fourth baby and it was a bit of a surprise as I was on the pill! It is a boy and my other kids are excited about having another brother to love.

Wow, I'm 25 weeks already and it is going by so fast! I better start preparing for this baby soon!

Oh thanks! I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. The canestan creme seemed to have helped a bit plus since my bleeding has tapered off I have switched to lighter pads. Hopefully we'll all be back to normal soon!! Take care.

i never thought about the whole being to tired part. i started wearing looser bra's, drinking a ton of water and pumping like every hour...... any other tips would be great though. thanks!!!!

well.... This time around i think i am making ure that i am more aware of what i do as far as holding him too much I find that with my firt I spolied her sooooo much it tookus till sh was four to get her out our room and she is six so now i make sure he sleep in his bassinet not in oour bed also It will be differnt because i stayed home for a year with her and i will be going back to work in tweleve week with him so it will be funny leavig him so young i dont know how I will feel also since you are my go to gal with experence how young do you think is too young for me o put him in his own room. ??? As far as activites she is on a track team and i wont be feeling it until outdoor season then i will be so drained with trying to get in some mee time but when i look at them it worth it dont you think!

I have my moments LOL! I am pretty good most off the time and then all of a sudden i break down and cry my eyes out over something silly! It's like an overwhelming amount of emotions to deal with all at once. I watched Exteme Home Makeover last night too! I love that show!! It was the one with the family that had two girls in wheelchairs and another son( i forget the family name) it is such an emotional show for sure! Oh the joys of giving birth!! I wouldn't trade it for the world though

Ashley slept the whole day away today so i'm kinda worried about tonight, hopefully she will sleep for me, waking up every 2-3 hours is killer!!

Ashley is great! She is "gassy" i can tell she has cramps so at times its a little hectic cause she wants to be held and walked(she doesn't like it if you sit down!!) but she is a doll, nothing like a precious little girl :) I do still feel sad for Joel though( hormones!!) like he went from being my baby to this big boy all of a sudden. I know he is fine but i feel like his mommy has been taken away from him :( it'll pass as the weeks go by im sure, how are you doing with post partum? any weepy days?

Thanks for the advice on the pain meds with the induction. I'm not sure if they are going to use the cervadil or pitocin. I had heard that pictocin without the epi is just pure pain in an IV. I'm a little nervous, but excited. I hope I can sleep tonight. We go in at 9am tomorrow! So I'll be offline for a few days but I'll let you know asap!

Hubby has taken this week off to be with me and it's helping my mood tremendously. We're sitting around watching movies, playing games and going for walks. It's hard to wait but at least I know I will be holding my little one no later than Monday!

Hey there! Ouch! I had that with my second little guy and its so painful, i remember feeling so fluish and the pain was horrible. I feel great, my labour was so fast that i didnt have time for an epidural and the recovery is so much better. I feel tired though, how is your 2 yr old doing with the new addition? Mine is a little rough with her, he wants to hit her, he asked me "can we bonk her?" so i am so paranoid with him running around! She also doesn't like her crib much and has her nights and days a little mixed up. Do you have anyone to help you? mom or mil? I have my mom who is retired so i am grateful! I think her company is the best part, i feel a little weepy at times. I usually get over it in a couple of weeks. I kinda miss the anticipation of the birth, but i ams so happy to have her here and have my body back LOL!

turned out a false alarm again last night. I went to bed and was able to sleep through the night. This morning...nothing. My next OB appt is tomorrow morning. I'll keep you posted.

I am so sorry to hear about the mastitis! I can imagine that's pretty painful. How does it clear up, with meds or just on its own?? Well I'm in the middle of 5 hours of contractions, coming about 2-5 min apart. The pain is still manageable, but some are the worst I've had so far. Trying to decide to go to the hospital or try to sleep and wait it out. I'll keep you posted! I hope it's the real thing!!
