Hola Mommies to be,

First, I hope everyone is happy and healthy ;o)

We have been TTC for 2 years. On Nov. 10 I'll be 9 weeks pregnant! I still can't
believe it sometimes. We found out when I was 4 weeks pregnant. I had my first
pelvic exam, blood work, urine test and sono on Oct. 30th (everything was fine)
and my next appointment isn't until Jan. 29th!! Why so long? Did anyone else have
to wait 2 months in between appt's? I wanna see the heart beat again.
Any suggestion on how to get another sono. sooner? I just hope that everything is ok! My sickness has gone...once in a while I get a little nausea, but not that often. My boobs don't hurt any more either. Has anybody else felt this way? I have cramps
once in a while, nothing big. I may be just a little worried that something may be wrong.

I have a cute little belly and I love it! We are so blessed!

Please feel free to leave me any advise.

Nov. 13th
What a nightmare! While I was grocery shopping I felt vaginal wetness. Thought that maybe it was just discharge. BUT when I got to the car I look "down there" and I saw bright red blood on my sweats.....not just a little! It was running down my leg! Scared the *%$@ out of me. I called my husband, I couldn't find my voice to tell him that I was bleeding. I just cried and told him to get home. When I got home and I took off my sweats, ran around looking for a pad, put my sweats in cold water, called my mom and just cried. I had her meet us at Stanford ER. Finally I was seen. My cervix is closed and we saw the heart beat. Of course they couldn't tell me where the blood was coming from. They told me that maybe I was having a "threaten m/c" and only time can tell. Thanks Doc's!!! And after blood work and 3 hours I was discharged. I got home at 9pm and cried some more. I was scared to go to the bathroom...thinking the worse would come out. We tried hard to have a baby, after 2 years of trying I finally got pregnant though IVF. I cannot m/c this baby. I'm scared to move and I know if it's gonna happen then there must be a reason....right?

I'm feeling better. I haven't seen anymore blood..Thank God. So, I called my fertility Dr and explained what happened yesterday, just wanting all the advise I can get. My regular Dr has made me an appt. on Monday, which of course I didn't want to wait that long. Anyways...my fertility Dr gave me a vaginal u/s. The heart rate was between 150 and 160 and the baby was the perfect size. No sigh of a m/c was in sight. What caused the bleeding was a subchorionic hematoma, a blood vessel that breaks. According to him this can be normal in early pregnancies. Does not affect the uterus. The bleeding should stop in 2-3 days and I'm told to get rest. I can breath....I cried tears of joy. Ladies, if you have any bleeding without cramping please don't panic, but definitely see a Dr.
I hope nobody else has to go through this. Prayers to all of us mommies.

We just heard the little heartbeat! It was beating so fast....such a strong heart.
I can't wait to find out if we're having a girl or a boy. I'm so in love with this baby.
I hope everyone else gets to hear the heartbeat soon. It's a wonderful sound.

It finally happened......actually the last day u wrote to me I was in labor....the night before my mucus plug came out and the next morning I was in labor.....I dilated all the way to ten really quick but the baby wasn't dropping....turns out the cord was wrapped around his neck twice...so i ended up getting a csection and just got home weds.....it sucks...my first two kids were vaginal and boy was it so much easier....but my little bundle is here and healthy and thats all that matters....Devon Michael 8 lbs 9 0z....big boy!!!! I haven't heard from you , hope all is well and can't wait to hear about your little bundle...ttys

If it's with mucous I'd say it's "bloody show" but you might mention to your doc/nurse on call just to be sure....since it's not red I"d guess all is okay. Sometimes placenta can do weird stuff but Id think that would be red. I'm no professional.

Let me know. I'm getting impatient with my bod not doing much but aching and random contractions....
time for a good night's sleep. I love going to my church and I dont' even feel like going tomorrow....in the morning maybe I will. Everybody is saying all the usual and asking all the questions. I guess I'd wonder if no one did.

I have had the same thing with the period like cramps and bleeding, My bleeding came after I was at the Dr's and she did an internal exam. It's painful but I found having a bath helped a lot. Good luck!

I don't know; sounds like you have a little history of bleeding so keep an eye but it could be part of mucous plug and definitely if you had an exam! I almost always do that. Kids are very excited. They're old enough now that esp. my boy keeps going, "Are you having contractions?" Ate spicy for lunch yesterday in hopes....(:

Oh and for me I CAN'T walk through the contractions and when I get to the hospital I'm usually about 5cm and still 5 hours or more away from delivery. That's Me and this one could be diff for me too.

I think that's decent advice. Everyone is different, and I've known women to not feel a whole lot and be in full blown labor, but it's fairly rare. Whenever I see a litle blood tinged with a lot of thick mucous, I usually have my baby within 48 hour. This time (5th) I haven't seen any of the mucous but I thought I was going to have the baby WEd. after 4 hours of real (early) contractions. I'm still here.

FOr me the cramping starts in my back and radiates to my front (like menstrual) and also feels like constipation but I know I"m not...so to sit on a chair in my bottom hurts and this just gets worse as I then know I need to get to the hospital. My uterus is very tight when this happens too, and then releases. For me I can never time them well, as they come sporatically every 2-10 min and sometimes wait as much as 15 but as they continue and dont' go away no matter what position I'm in, that's when I know. This is why Wed. morn. early I thought I was going in for sure. I had to take a nap and I didn't think I"d fall alseep but I did and they went away for the most part. I've known ladies to never see mucous and have their babies faster and earlier than me. Each preg. is different. If you aren't sure call your doctor/nurse on call or even just go in esp. if the discomfort gets worse and doesn't stop if you rest. Hang in there! It will happen. I've been "overdue" 3 times and it's hard but try to think of it as God adding finishing touches, like longer eyelashes.

Hi I had my dr apt yesterday too and NOTHING...so dissapointing...part of me wanted her to induce me but the other half wanted to see if I'll really go on my own....I'm becoming so frustrated.....besdies the waddling and rollig out of bed, a little crampy at night, I feel fine. The dr said if I make it to my apt next thursday they will do something to induce me, not sure what we didn't discuss. I know you said that you tested positive for strep b also, did you ask your doctor about the stripping your membranes thing? One dr told me no and another dr said yes.....I want to have the correct information before that is even discussed!! Are you having any cramps or 'fake" contractions? My baby is so cramped he's moving a bit less. I had a sono yesterday and they asid he was fine. Who knows...I am really tired of waiting. That would be so nice if we could walk our kis together.....I know that feeling, most of our friends are waiting to have kids still and there are practically no little ones on our block...ughhhh....Well please keep me updated and I am still praying we go soon!

Hang in there! I know times goes so slowly now but you'll have your little one in no time...You've waited this long, you can make it a few more days! And look around at others pages and you will see that it happened really quickly for a lot of them, from no signs to holding their babies within 24 hrs...You could be next! Labor and baby dust to you!

I go for a sonogrma every week now because the baby was measuring big and they wanted to make sure he doesn't get too big cause then I need a c section...They measure him by sonogram....every week he seems to gain about 7 oz.....I had my first two vaginal so I'm hoping that this one will be also...I'm scared to get a c-section....Yeah my dr said no striipping the membranes b/c it's debated wether the strep b can then travel closer to the baby so we're just gonna wait......woth my first i was induced...she broke my water in her office, sent me to the hospital....meanwhile I never had any contractions....they had to give me pitocin through an iv which makes u have contractions.....then I wasn't dilating....it was a mess to be honest....scary....my second delivery was so smooth, had contractions and all that and dilated on my own....I am praying that I go totally on my own this time....We finished the babies room also....I go in there all the time and just sit wondering when on earth this little one is coming...I have a dr'sd apt thursday also...my dr is on vacation and im seeing someone ive never seen before.....I am so pissed...what is the purpose of that? What can i possibly say to him?? frustrating....you should ask the dr how far past your due date they let you go and if they do have to induce , how do they do it......I am praying for us that we have our babies soon.....before our dr's apt would be nice!!! let me know how it goes!!

I know it's crazy that shaking your hands actually feels good right> Especially in the morning or at night my hands go sooo numb....it's been driving me crazy...I've had some contractions, very sporatic and spread through out the day, enough to make me stop sometimes what I'm doing, but then it goes away and i'm fine. I've been dilated at 2 cm for 6 weeks...the baby still hasn't engaged...I am so frustrated....This is our third and I thought okay I will definitely go early...I went at 39 weeks with both my other kids....the first the dr broke my water, which I will not let her do again and the 2nd she stripped my membranes which put me into contractions the next morning, but she can not do that this time b/c I tested positive for the group b and she cant do it with that....I actually feel pretty good today which is making me angry! LOL...This baby is already 8 lbs 7 oz as of last week!!!! Both of my other children were only in the 7's!!! I am really starting to stress myself out as to when this is gonna happen, it has become an obsession!!! I'm hoping i go to bed and get "woken up" by the baby!!! How about you? are u feeling normal? or anything out of the ordinary??

The only other advice was to drink water so as not to retain as much and if I wanted wrist guards to sleep with at night LOL which i turned down...my husband thought that would have been great, me sleeping with wrist guards on...

I've had the swollen feet and hands...actually my hands worse than my feet...the dr said that it was carpell tunnel syndrome only during pergnancy....when u start to retain water this happens...my hands become so numb and hurt and i have to shake them for a while....I thought that sounded funny...carpell tunnel but I also read it in what to expect......so i guess she's right!! Good Luck

I didnt say it wouldn't inflame it but it fills a gap and is wholesome. My mum makes this thing where you cut a circle into bread and then put an egg in there in the pan, then cover it with cheese. She calls it toad in the hole! But hard boiled eggs on toast yum
