Hola Mommies to be,

First, I hope everyone is happy and healthy ;o)

We have been TTC for 2 years. On Nov. 10 I'll be 9 weeks pregnant! I still can't
believe it sometimes. We found out when I was 4 weeks pregnant. I had my first
pelvic exam, blood work, urine test and sono on Oct. 30th (everything was fine)
and my next appointment isn't until Jan. 29th!! Why so long? Did anyone else have
to wait 2 months in between appt's? I wanna see the heart beat again.
Any suggestion on how to get another sono. sooner? I just hope that everything is ok! My sickness has gone...once in a while I get a little nausea, but not that often. My boobs don't hurt any more either. Has anybody else felt this way? I have cramps
once in a while, nothing big. I may be just a little worried that something may be wrong.

I have a cute little belly and I love it! We are so blessed!

Please feel free to leave me any advise.
Blessings, Lica & Baby

Nov. 13th
What a nightmare! While I was grocery shopping I felt vaginal wetness. Thought that maybe it was just discharge. BUT when I got to the car I look "down there" and I saw bright red blood on my sweats.....not just a little! It was running down my leg! Scared the *%$@ out of me. I called my husband, I couldn't find my voice to tell him that I was bleeding. I just cried and told him to get home. When I got home and I took off my sweats, ran around looking for a pad, put my sweats in cold water, called my mom and just cried. I had her meet us at Stanford ER. Finally I was seen. My cervix is closed and we saw the heart beat. Of course they couldn't tell me where the blood was coming from. They told me that maybe I was having a "threaten m/c" and only time can tell. Thanks Doc's!!! And after blood work and 3 hours I was discharged. I got home at 9pm and cried some more. I was scared to go to the bathroom...thinking the worse would come out. We tried hard to have a baby, after 2 years of trying I finally got pregnant though IVF. I cannot m/c this baby. I'm scared to move and I know if it's gonna happen then there must be a reason....right?
Prayers to all

Nov. 14th
Hi Mama's to be ;o)
I'm feeling better. I haven't seen anymore blood..Thank God. So, I called my fertility Dr and explained what happened yesterday, just wanting all the advise I can get. My regular Dr has made me an appt. on Monday, which of course I didn't want to wait that long. Anyways...my fertility Dr gave me a vaginal u/s. The heart rate was between 150 and 160 and the baby was the perfect size. No sigh of a m/c was in sight. What caused the bleeding was a subchorionic hematoma, a blood vessel that breaks. According to him this can be normal in early pregnancies. Does not affect the uterus. The bleeding should stop in 2-3 days and I'm told to get rest. I can breath....I cried tears of joy. Ladies, if you have any bleeding without cramping please don't panic, but definitely see a Dr.
I hope nobody else has to go through this. Prayers to all of us mommies.

This is me and my first baby, Jason!

Dec. 28
We just heard the little heartbeat! It was beating so fast....such a strong heart.
I can't wait to find out if we're having a girl or a boy. I'm so in love with this baby.
I hope everyone else gets to hear the heartbeat soon. It's a wonderful sound.

Jan. 28

We're having a precious boy!

M0MMi-lUH-Y0U - Tuesday, 1 July
thanks girl hows your baby?

riknlee - Monday, 30 June
I didnt say it wouldn't inflame it but it fills a gap and is wholesome. My mum makes this thing where you cut a circle into bread and then put an egg in there in the pan, then cover it with cheese. She calls it toad in the hole! But hard boiled eggs on toast yum

riknlee - Monday, 30 June
You could make yourself a boiled egg or a toasted cheese sandwich. That usually hits the spot.

I heard that vinegar was good for heartburn. Research it on the internet. I feel for you as I have had it to and it sucks. I have these chewable Mylanta tablets that work wonders. good luck

I know how you feel it sounds like your husband and my bf are the same people. We have not had sex I know about almost two months especially since 2 weeks ago my doctor said no more sex. Well, that would not have been a problem since I haven't, but now I'm thinking I don't know when I'm having this baby and when I do there is another 6 weeks. I don't know why they are like that and I am very frustrated that sometimes I can hardly stand to look at him.

ggfirsttime - Tuesday, 24 June
Me too...and sometimes I actually have to double check that I'm not having a period :) I'll have dr appt tomorrow and I hope she checks and gives me good news that I progressed. As far as the swelling...I can't wear my shoes either, all I can wear is one pair sandals. And since last week I put on 5 pounds which probably is due to water retention. Best wishes to you too! GG

jenndmamma - Monday, 23 June
I have some swelling all over and the heaviness feeling like a lot of pressure. CUTE DOG by the way.

CarrieE - Monday, 23 June
Hey! Just wanted to say that I definitely have swollen ankles and feet! In the morning they almost look normal, but by the end of the day they are so puffy that I almost can't recognize them as my own!! It's weird!! It will all be over soon though...can't wait to meet our baby!!! Good luck to you!!

ooheather - Saturday, 21 June
I asked my doctor the same question...."what if my labor goes quickly, and we don't have time?" and she told me that if it's a quick labor then they're not really worried about it because the baby isn't exposed for too long. They might monitor the baby for symptoms or do a blood test to make sure everything is ok. If this is your first, believe me, you'll have plenty of time!!

ooheather - Friday, 20 June
I came up positive for the strep b also.....the reason they don't give you antibiotics is because it can come back before you go into labor. So that's why they wait until you're in labor to give you antibiotics through an IV.

teresa262 - Friday, 20 June
I tested GBS positive @ 26 weeks, they gave me oral antibiotics for 7 days only because they found out so early. They just told me that as soon as my water breaks I have to get to hospital ASAP to have iv antibiotics. I hear that it really is nothing to worry about, just make sure to tell the nurse as soon as you get to L&D. Good luck

angelbabies14 - Friday, 20 June
just means you'll need to go in to hospital earlier so they can give you antibiotics at least 3/4 hours before baby is delivered.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, It's been along few day's so thurs. My doctor striped my membrains I thought for sure I would have baby no later then Sat. Thank god its about time, other then all that everything is well. I will be giving birth tomarrow all by my self my sister was going to be my couch and support but she can't get off work so I will be going at this all alone. I think I will be ok though. littlemissi - Monday, 16 June
It's going fine. I am very tired. I do have help, but my husband has to work, so I don't have him do anything during the night, and during the day he is gone of course, so I do feel like this babies life depends on me alone right now. He is eating every 2 hours on the dot (you time feedings from when they begin too....argh....) so by the time he is done, and by the time I pump the extra out (to help keep a good suply since he is premie) I have like 45min to an hour before it is time to start again! Lol. But I love him. :) I bet you can't wait to have your little bundle! While I don't suggest having a premie (Conrad looked to be only 34 weeks) having them early- it does make labor a TON easier, not that I have previous experience, but I think my labor was pretty easy! So good luck, I hope your baby comes reaaaal soon!

babies - Thursday, 12 June
I am having a great day. I just got back from the doctor's and I had a u/s and a normal check up, My baby is 6lbs and 5 oz. I am dialated to a two and I am 50% defaced. My doctor striped the membrains today so I can go into laber any minuit now I am so excited I could be holding my little girl at any time now. If for some reason I do not have her by wed the 18th I a schulded to be induced at 5:30am wed. morning the 18th, but the doctor think's I will not make it to that date!!! I think I will be in labor tonight.

littlemissi - Thursday, 12 June
