My doctor said Zicam is safe to take. If you are JUST starting to get sick, Zicam helps shorten the duration of the cold. (Anytime I feel like I'm starting to get sick--actually like today--I take Zicam and can usually ward off getting the cold) Just a thought!

I chose to just rent mine. The cheapest i could find to buy was $300.00- and I'm renting mine for 2 months for $40.00, and then $21.00/month after that if i want to. I also got the one without the heart rate on it- i kinda wish i would have gotten the one that had the heartbeat, i didnt see those when i rented mine- but honestly, the one i got works so well, and the sound is so clear, its really easy to count the heartrate on your own. so really that would just be what you wanted to pay for. But i definitely recommend getting one, they are amazing!! :) Good luck and CONGRATS!!

Hi> I read your post about hips hurting, I didn't know if was pregnancy related or not, but almost every night I can barely sleep because my hips and legs hurt so bad. I have had so many aches and pains already, I feel like I am never just fine.
i just wanted to say thanks for making me feel less crazy somehow! And congrats btw!

I had an abnormal pap w/ my last baby and my dr. told me it was perfectly normal in pregnancy. He said alot of woman get an abnormal one while they are pregnant and usually after the baby is born everything is normal. It scared me at first but the dr. told me its no big deal! after my lil boy was born i had a normal pap like he said

Dont panic now. Wait til your birth, re test and then deal with the results. Take it from me - I had a high grade abnormality last year, I was in CIN111 (the final stop before full blown cervical cancer). I had a biopsy and calpsocopy (no idea how to spell it), and this confirmed the results, I then was operated on - I had the lletz procedure and a dialation and currette. I was not allowed sex or anything for 6 weeks, the next month I conceived!!!! My baby is my reward. I was meant to have another biopsy in May but cant due to baby, so I had a pap instead and its NORMAL. So, dont panic, ask me any questions you llike as I have definately been down this road before. Good luck.

Don't worry! Abnormal paps when pregnant are not uncommon. There is so much new going on it's bound to happen. The vinegar procedure is even less invasive than a normal pap and will give you an answer. Mine came back abnormal and I had it redone and everything was fine. I needed LOTS of reassurance and was freaking out too. Don't worry - just do the test and relax. All will be fine. Good luck!

I have had several abnormal pap smears and before I found out I was pregnant with my 5 yr old., my dr. was doing all kinds of procedures and once I got pregnant she said to wait until I had the baby. An abnormal pap smear will not affect your baby. I am now 13w5d prego and my pap again has been abnormal but I don't want the dr to do anything to me until I have my baby. Most likely after you have your baby, your pap might be normal and if not, dr. will have to run more tests. An abormal pap smear can detect early pre cervical changes but does not necessarily mean you have cervical cancer. I can understand what you are going through but don't worry, your baby will be fine. If your pap shows very mild, dr. will wait until the birth of your baby. Hope this helps. Good luck!

My stomache gets that tight feeling. I even have noticed I can't bend as easily as before, I feel like I have a soccer ball in the way!
