Hi my name is Lily, I have the greatest family ever! My husband and I have been married for almost 4 years, we have a 2 1/2 year old son Justin, and now are expecting daddy's little princess!

Just little on my pregnancy:

1st Trimester: Little morning sickness, I had none with my son :)

2nd Trimester: IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband was very excited about that :) Boys run in his family, so he always wanted a girl :) :) :)

3rd Trimester: Well, its week 28 for me, my test results came back. Not so good, I am anemic, and I failed my 1hr GCT by 16 pts! So they called me in for 3hr GTT and I failed one of the 4 blood tests, and now I will be seeing dietician and watching my sugar. At least I don't have GD.

Dec 26,2007 -- 32w. Prenatal apt today, everything is great, the baby's heartbeat is strong, gained 20lb as of today. Next apt at 36w, than 38, than 40!!!

Jan 20,2008 -- 35w5d pregnant. Feeling still good as of now. Thinking of packing a hospital bag this week, just in case, but I think the baby isn't coming till her due date or later. My next OB/GYN apt is at 36 weeks. Posted some new pics of my growing belly :)

Jan 22,2008 -- 36weeks tomorrow - gained 22lb so far. Having sore throat in the mornings, hope not to get sick. My 2.5yr old son fell asleep alone in his room and slept through the night without coming in our room in the morning, i am glad he is more independent now it will be a big help when the baby comes.

Jan 31,2008 -- 37w1d pregnant. the baby has dropped, i had a painful 5minute contraction in the middle of the night, i guess these are first sings that she will be here in the next few weeks :) I have my next apt Feb 6th (38w), cant wait!

Feb 1, 2008 -- 37w2d. just posted new pics of my belly, on the front few you can definetly tell that the baby has dropped, my belly button is way down from 35th week picture! Its February the baby will be here this month!!!

Feb 6, 2008 -- 38 weeks! Had my apt today, i was 1 cm dialated and soft, baby is nicely in there, but a bit high. Discussed an induction date if i dont have her before due date. At 40 week apt, my midwife will check me and if i look like i progressed she will have me for induction that weekend, so most likely i will have my baby girl by Feb 25th! Can't wait!!! oh, and total gain weight to this date is 23.5lb. (i weight now 136lb).

Feb 8, 2008 -- 38w2d. Just posted new pics. I am very bored, and my days are going so slow... Started not sleeping that good, have to turn a lot, and my hip bones hurt towards morning.

Feb 12,2008 -- 38w6d. i cant believe that tomorrow i will be 39 weeks and still no baby..Have been doing lots of chores and cleaning around the house and that does not even bring slightest contractions.

Feb 16, 2008 -- 39 1/2 weeks! I am 4 days away from my due date and still no baby, i am starting to feel like I will have to be induced this time as well. Today my husband and I spent most of the day shopping in the mall, well nothing happened. I really hope to have the baby by next weekend, lets see what happens :) My guess is that she will weight around 6lb and 19in.

Feb 18, 2008 --39w5d! Only 2 days left until my due date, still no baby :( I did the most crazy thing ever today, i walked up hill for 1.2miles today to the top of the waterfall (very up hill) and than down for total of 2.5 miles ( well believe me its nothing like mall walking). Nothing happening yet, I so wanted to have her today, its kind of dissapointing that i put myself through it for nothing. And my poor husband carried our 2.5 year old on his shoulders all the way up and than down, what an exercise!

Feb 19, 2008 -- 39w6d. just one day left until my due date, no baby yet. I am trying to be patient though...

Feb 21, 2008 -- 40w1d. yesterday i had an apt, i was sad to find out that i was still only 1cm dialated and pretty much long cervix, even though the baby was low and ready to go. I have an induction scheduled on Feb 26th (midnight), so if i dont have baby by then, my little girl should be born either 27th of Feb(my sister's b-day) or 28th (my SIL b-day), either way she will be here soon, in less than a week!

Feb 24, 2008 --40w4d. well i am still pregnant, the last three days i have been having painless irregular contractions from time to time, as well i have been losing my mucus plug, little progress, but better than nothing :) Couple more days until i am induced!

Feb 25, 2008 -- 40w5d. I am going to be induced in 24hrs!

Feb 26, 2008 -- 40w6d. still pregnant, being induced tonight at midnight :)

I checked in at midnight at Labor/delivery for induction, they put in a softening pill and i went to sleep, woke up at 7am with little craming contractions, at 8am my midwife started pitocin and i was 2cm dialated and 85%effaced -2 station. At 9:30 i had painful contractions and i called in nurse to see if i am dialated enough to start epidural, she checked me to find out i was 5cm and said she will put in a request, 15mins later I told her i feel like pushing, she checked me to find out i was already 10cm!! All nurses and midwife rushed in to the room and started to get thing ready! The epidural lady showed up, but was not needed anymore:) They broke my water as I hold off pushing as long as i could, then when they said to push, my baby Sophia came out with one push at 10:15am! No tear! nothing, she is 5lb13.8oz and 18.5in, pretty small for a week overdue, she is so beautiful! I still can`t believe that in less then two hours I went from 2cm to a 10cm!
