About Me...
Hey all! Here's a little info so you can get to know me... I'm new to this website, but it looks like a good way to talk to other mommy-to-be's and get to know some of you along the way. I just got married September 2, 2006 to my wonderful hubby Jordy. Three months later we found out we're pregnant, something I was shocked to hear, but overjoyed at the same time. I've been with my husband since we were 15, but have been life long friends since we were 4 when his babysitter was my mom's best friend and we would have play time together. Then I went off to catholic school, while he went to public, then in 2nd grade I went to public school and ended up in his class. The following year in 3rd grade we were once again in the same class, and still good friends. After that we seen eachother here and there, but nothing much , until 8th grade when we had almost every class together. The next year we dated off and on, but always wound up finding eachother again. Then 10th grade year we dated the whole year and found ourselves to be inseperable, and been together since, maybe it was fate, maybe it was just ment to be! We always knew we wanted kids, we just didn't expect it so soon, but we are thrilled to find out we would be parents so soon. I'm nowin my junior year of college so it deffinately won't be easy finishing up my nursing degree, but I have a great man to help me along the way.
I do know I am 22 weeks as of tomorrow, and was hoping to find out at my last doctor's visit what the sex of the baby was, but they wanted to wait until my next visit to tell me the news. I go back May 21 (only 2 weeks) and I will find out then...CAN'T WAIT! Of course he wants a boy, which we'd name Aiden and I want my baby girl (Ellie), but either way I'll be happy, I just hope it's a healthy bundle of joy! I'll unpadate ya soon when I hear what it is!

My wonderful hubby Jordy turned 21 on March 31, 2007. He works a full time job on top of his duties as a Military Police Officer for the Army. Thankfully he has not been sent over seas yet, and we keep our fingers crossed everyday that he doesn't end up over there with us having a baby on the way. As you can tell he is Mexican- American as well as has Navajo in him. Now that he knows we are having a girl, he's pretty excited, how can't you be! I know he was hoping for a boy, because of the whole having a "buddy" thing, but he's really getting into the whole "daddy's girl" thing. Everytime we see something that says I Love Daddy or daddy's Girl he has to buy it, of course! I'm very blessed though to be sharing such a speacial time with my love and best friend, he's never missed an appointment yet and has been so patient with me the whole pregnancy, which is probably hard to do with a preggo lady, lol!

May 21, 2007
Well I had my fourth doctor's visit today and second ultrasound done, and found out that I'm having a baby GIRL! I'm so excited because that's what I've been hoping for... They said she was looking great and she was so cooperative, let's hope things don't change there, lol. Anyways she's weighing in at 1 lbs 3 oz which is right on track they said, and my weight is good too. I've been very blessed so far, no real sickness or any problems, I'm crossing my fingers the rest of my pregnancy goes this well. She's a very active little baby though, always on the move, since her kicks are getting more evident now, and a little stronger. She really likes to start kicking early morning and right before bed, so she's going to keep me up quite a bit. I hope everyone else is doing great!

Today I was comming home from scheduling my classes for summer quarter and I could feel my little girl just a kicking away...then I put my hand on my belly and I was now actually able to feel her kicks from the outside of my belly, something I've been looking foward to! My hubby was pumped because up until now he wasn't really feeling like he was able to experience a lot of the excitement I was able too by feeling the baby's kicks. So when he was able to put his hand on my belly and feel her kick he was amazed...He seemed like he was at a whole new level of being excited and said now he really is anticipating her arrival.

Well the final weeks are coming near, thank god! I am still working my 25-32 hours a week, but I definately see that soon changing. My feet have been swollen now for 4 weeks straight no matter if I put them up for hours and hours or sleep with them up, they just looks so big and aweful! The things we go through for our bundles of joy! Anyhow, I had my baby shower this past Saturday, and got lots of goodies!! Now I am really getting excited... I am so ready to put it all to good use. I can see the excitement in my hubbys face too, he's so ready to be a daddy, putting all the last minute gadgets together and all keeps him busy and excited. Good luck to all the girls out there who are also finding there dates soon approaching, hope everything is going well for you all!

I am finally in my 37th week of pregnancy with only 17 days to go! I had a Dr. Appt on Monday and was told I was begining to dialate and was 50% effaced, and that the baby has dropped into my pelvis and into positioning!! Thankfully some progress is going on down there. I have one day of work left on Friday, and then I can concentrate on the final touches for Ellie's arrival, almost everything is ready to go! I am so excited, I can deffinately tell that my nesting insticts are kicking into full gear. I think I am just so ready for this whole pregnancy to come to an end, I can't wait to hold my baby girl for the first time. So anyways my Appt.s are every week now and the next is a week from today, lets just hope there's more to be said about some progession!
