Thank you. Your comment did make me feel better. All this computer googling is not healthy, because all I see is bad instead of "99.9% chance they will be fine". Thank you.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

No problem! It made me feel much better too. My little guy has not always been right on with it, but pretty close. It is nice to have a general idea though.

Hey! Just read your post about how much formula your baby should eat in 24hrs. I have this chart at my house and it is very helpful. I don't use page one anymore, but the second page gives averages of how much they should eat per day depending on how old they are. Hope this helps!!

Yeah I don't really understand that I guess I'm stumped too lol. The warmer water might help things though, it surely won't hurt to give it a try. Good luck to you. :)

your welcome :)
I find its much easier to pre make the formula the day before then all you have to do when u need a bottle is heat it up. Formula is good in fridge premade for 24hours. Then when im going out and need a bottle i bring the bottle put 4oz of room temp water in it and then add the formula to it whenever he needs a feed (i bring formula in diaper bag in a little container). He not fussy and takes bottles at room temp so its great that i dont have to wonder around figuring out how to heat it up. The only time i heat it is if im home and they are premade out of fridge i stick it in microwave. I know they say not too but i shake it really well so theres no hot spots. Do u only formula feed, or do u breastfeed aswel?

Oh really? That seems strange, what kind of formula are you using? What temp is the water when you're mixing it? We use room temp bottled water and that seems to work great.

ooh yea i had trouble mixing that one so i tried the premixed and it made cailey sick she can only take powder for some reason so now i use enfamil lipil it like dissolves really quick

miamicat - Wednesday, 1 October
i find it easier to just fill a days worth of bottes with water and then add the powder to it as needed. The formula never clumps. you dont have to store the water bottle in the frig so it takes a shorter time to warm before feeding and when your out for the day the milk doesnt spoil because you mix it as needed.

I formula fed my first two children. What worked best for me was to put at least an ounce of very warm water at the bottom of the bottle, then add the powder, then add another ounce of water. I would then put on the lid and shake the heck out of it, then add the remaining water for however much formula I was mixing. I almost never had any lumps or powder stuck to the bottle.

my formul like instantly mixes in what kind do u use

hi, I use the snugli baby carrier, and we put our baby in it forward, she likes it better that way,...she turned 2 months on the 23rd...I don't see anything wrong with it.

Here is some hope that last night's sleep is the start of a wonderful pattern! Sarah started that this week....we have had 3 nights in a row of going to sleep at 8 or 8:30 and sleeping until somethime between 4:30-5:30!

Thanks for your comment, it is so nice to talk to other moms who are going through the same thing. Hubby is ok with me working 4 hours a day and Chloe will stay at home, so we wont need any daycare. When she is a year or so then I will reconsider going back to work full time. Have a great week, your daughter is so cute!

Best socks ever: baby gap. they're thick and really elasticky and don't come off unless I'm pulling off his pants...i kind of wish they made them for grownups...:o)

mommad - Friday, 19 September
You just have to get the right socks. All the cute little girly socks dont stay on my baby! I got some at Walmart that look like little sports socks and they stay on really good! They are pink, gray, and white. Looks sortof silly with cute little dresses, but at least her feet are warm!

I am adjusting to staying at home too! I have been a teacher for 8 years... it is wierd for me not to report back to school! I love staying home with the girls but it is way more work than I ever imagined! Worth it though.

On a side note... I just moved from FL (Cape Canaveral area). I really miss the beach! Please enjoy it for me! lol
