When did you find out?
I suspected that we’d gotten pregnant a day or so after I ovulated. September 10^th, I had a faint +. September 11^th, I had a darker line, but it was still faint. September 13^th, I had a + digital

Were did you find out?
In the potty at my house

How far along were you?
3wks (TOO early, lol)

What was your reaction?
On cloud 9

Who was the first person you told?
My 21 month old (she was the only one home at the time J). Then, I told the ladies on IAP. Then, finally my husband got the news

How did you tell the father?
I had bought a “Big Sister” decal to iron onto my daughter’s shirt, but my ear-to-ear smile gave it away first. The darn decal (which I bought on ebay), didn’t even arrive until I was 9wks

What was his reaction?
Really happy. And nervous. Lots of changes going on right now with the economy being so wacky

All about your pregnancy

When is your due date?
May 27^th, but I’ll have a c-section a week or two before

Did you have any morning sickness?
Just nausea so far, no vomiting (but it’s been a close call a few times!)

What are your fears?
About the pregnancy: having the cord wrapped around the neck or other horrible accident. In general about being a mom: that I won’t be able to be a good enough mommy to TWO kids under 2 ½; that my daughter will hate me for making her share our attention with a new baby

What are you most happy about?
That we’re adding another little one to our family!

Did you want a boy or girl?
Honestly, I would like a boy (and our family would be complete), but I’d be thrilled with a girl. Either way, I just want a healthy little one

What did the father want boy or girl?
I think he wants a boy J

Do you know what your having?
Not yet, but you BET I’m going to find out ASAP

Do you have a name picked out?
For a boy, I think we’ve agreed on Liam Patrick, but that is subject to change (I still need to do more convincing, lol). I truly feel that this is a boy and haven’t really considered any girls names. Yet

How much weight have you gained?
3lbs (at 10wks 1day)

Have you felt the baby move?
Not yet, but I’m impatiently waiting! I felt Maddie move at 14wks, so I’m hoping it’ll be sooner this time

When you have the baby

Duh

Do you plan on a natural or medicated birth?
Well, seeing as I’m having a section, lol, I think I’ll opt for some meds

Are you scared about labor?
Nope! Get to bypass all that torture this time. WOOOT!

What do you think will be the worst part of labor?
Since that doesn’t apply, I’ll tell you what the worst part of the c-section will be: the pressure when they are taking the baby out and, of course, afterward ~ the post op is really painful

Have you taken any classes?
No. I took them with Maddie and they were a lot of fun. At $90, they’d better be!

Who will be in the delivery room?

Are you having the birth videotaped?
Heck-to-the-NO! Even if it was a vaginal delivery, just try coming near me with a video recorder…

Do you think you will cry when you see the baby for the first time?
No, but I will cry when I get to hold him/her

What do you think the fathers reaction to the baby will be?
He’ll cry. He’ll be worried. He’ll be in love

How do you think family and friends will feel?
Everyone is really excited. For Maddie’s birth, they were ALL out of town on a ski trip with my dad’s church (yes, my daddy’s a preacher!). Then when they got to see her, a week later, they all had bad colds and had to wear surgical masks, lol. It will be nice to have them actually be in town. Bastards J
