VERY excited!

Ok, so a ton of stuff has been going on and I have not been able to write. My blood pressure went up and I ended up in the hospital for 3 days. They increased my meds and it went down. Luckily it is down now. It's not normal but it's normal compared to what it has been. I am now 36 weeks pregnant and yesterday my dr did something (maybe stripped my membranes?) and it hurt! I am only 1cm dilated and she is trying to "help me out". It HURT!!! Now I'm spotting and cramping like period pains and hurting in my back. Maybe it helped. I am being induced next Tuesday due to my BP. I also have more energy today than I have in a while and am trying to clean the house some even though I'm on bedrest. She also estimated the baby's weight at around 7 pounds, which is great! Billy was 4 pounds and I was 3.4 pounds so our little boy has beat both of us already...!

Well I'm about to start week 29! YIPEE! After having the 4D ultrasound and apparently not being technical enough to put the pics on here (sorry everyone!) we cannot wait to hold our precious little boy! I have been having some back pain along with pelvic pain and some stretching going on, but luckily it's subsided and today I am MUCH better. My job requires I stand about 8 hours a day (luckily I only work 3 days that I have to stand like that) and it's starting to bother me. But even with the pain, I can't wait to be pregnant again and have another precious baby kicking me and growing inside me. It's a great feeling to know you have another life thriving inside. We love him so much already we can't imagine what it's going to be like when he's here!

Well we have set up a 4D ultrasound for the 14th! We are so excited! We are actually doing it as a surprise for my dad for his birthday. I am an only child and this is the first baby and grandSON. Also, my dad has cancer, so I know seeing his grandson on DVD will definitely help his moods since he has been rather down. I can't wait to see my little boy on that screen and see who he looks like and what he's REALLY doing in there every time he pokes me!

I went to the doctor yesterday and had my ultrasound. IT'S A BOY! He weighs 12 ounces! He was moving around and had his little arms and legs crossed. It was so cute! I can't wait to meet our son!

Well, it's been a long week. The baby seems to be f ine, very active and kicking and moving around alot, which is good. Wednesday night I had to take my 12 year old Rottie (Bear) to the vet and have him put to sleep. This crushed me to no end. That dog had been my life, my guardian angel through my whole life. He was there during the bad things I went through and protected me. I now look at it like this: Bear was my guardian angel and when God gave me Billy who could love and protect me and not hurt me , Bear's job was done here on earth. God gave me a little extra time with Bear, to love him, take care of him, and learn that I am now this baby's angel and it is my responsibility to love and protect this child the same and in more ways than Bear loved and protected me. I now am responsible to pour my life into this child the way Bear poured his love and life into me and everyone he touched.

Well I am starting my 17th week tomorrow. I can't wait! Today we went out for Mexican food after church and were all standing around afterwards talking. All of a sudden I REALLY felt the baby move! It was so cool! I guess the baby likes Mexican food! It's been moving around quite a bit today. I can't wait until Billy can feel it too!

Today has been one of those days. I am completely worn out and have a terrible sinus headache. I've tried to sleep most of the day and still don't feel much better. Hopefully tomorrow will be okay since I have to work a full day. I'm off to Praise Team practice now.

Well I just returned from the doctor. I have gained 4 pounds! (Surprise, surprise!) We heard the heartbeat, which sounded strong. He also told me I should begin to feel some movement soon and told me where it should be (which helped alot). He said that we were going to wait 6 weeks to do the u/s to see if it's a boy or girl :o( Only because at that point you can really see everything well. Plus I know that we don't have the money to do the 3-D ultrasound, but that's okay. It will be between our anniversary and my birthday on July 8th. Other than that, he said everything was coming along fine. Everything is growing as it should, so I am going to try (TRY) not to worry much now and just enjoy!

Today I am off work. I really only work 2.5 days a week, which is nice. When the baby gets here I'll be home full time. I can't wait! That is where my heart has always been is to be a wife, mother, and homemaker. I mowed some of our grass this morning and hoed around the garden. I also was able to pick our first pepper already! It smells wonderful. There is nothing like fresh veggies from a garden!

Well, we had a nice garage sale today. Billy and I are major "garage salers" and we needed to earn some money for a vacation we are taking in June. Plus we needed to clean out the baby's room too. My parents spent the night last night and we slept on the sofa sleeper (queen sized). Unfortunately, I got NO SLEEP. I don't know why but everything woke me up, including our 12 year old Rottie that was snoring :o( I did manage to take a nap today though and I am trying to wake up. Billy is planting our corn and I really want to help him. I just don't have much energy today. My mom said I was beginning to "look pregnant" which I definitely took as a compliment. My next dr's appt is May 22nd and I can't wait to hear "Thumper's" heartbeat! My mom nicknamed our baby that after hearing the h/b with a Doppler the last appointment :o)

Ok, I am kind of new to all this posting and stuff, so please be patient. I am 14 weeks and 1 day. I am finally getting some energy back, in fact I washed my truck (a Ford Explorer) today. It's really too hot here to do anything in the garden so I'll have to wait til it gets cooler. I believe I have felt some movement today. It's a weird feeling , different from gas or hunger pains, kinda like a flutter. I'm pretty sure it's the baby. My next dr's appt is the 22nd and I can't wait. I love hearing the heartbeat. We will find out on our next appt whether it's a boy or girl. The neat part is that our next appt is June 19th which is also our anniversary. What a great present to find out what our baby is!
