I feel for you on the sciatic nerve pain. I have 3 slipped discs and have had this pain before pregnancy. Obviously it has gotten worse since I am pregnant. My doctors are worried an epidural wont work but only because I have scar tissue from surgeries. Otherwise I am trying to have a vaginal birth and would imagine that you can too.

Sorry have to laugh! My sister talked my mom in to liking Autumn...lol. Not that I think she still really likes it or anything.
I think Noah is an amazing name.
As for Autumn, there is a connection. She was concieved in Autumn, we were married in Autumn and I am an Autumn baby. The colours is what strikes me...and it just seems to suit the image I have in my head..

Crazy how people just can not be happy with our choice ....not like we are calling them bubba butt or something....lol

I actually saw my doc today and he made me feel a little better about it but it was obvious he was concerned about my anxiety and questioned why I would already be thinking about birth...well hello its not THAT far away. I wanted to smack him. I wish you the best and all I can say is do what you think is best for you and your baby's safety. Let me know how it goes!

Thank you so much for your message. I just got to work and had a rough night with him. When I opened this and read your message it really made me feel better. I just love him so much and I try to do my best to help him with this disorder. Brian is the first person that I've actually been around and seen how it can take an affect on him and the people that love him. It is really tough sometimes. I know he loves me just as much as I love him. I feel like I've learned a lot about this disorder and still have much more to learn. Thanks again and I hope you have a great day.

Oh really? Well my doctor has felt around on my tumy and felt my little boy. Hes measuring a week behind and the doctor says he will probably not weigh over 6lbs 5oz and DEF nothing over 7lbs. He says Im so tiny framed and my belly is so small and from what he has felt of the baby, he is going to be small! But thats ok with me!

babylucius - Friday, 6 June

Hey there
I just wanted to let you know that you have natural endorfins..sp? that kick in and help you deal with the labour better then what we are dealing with now.
I know it is scary, this is my fourth and I still get worried about it. Take deep breathes....try and think that we are meant to handle this....not that it makes it any better, but just think how your hubby acts when he has a cold.....and see if he could really handle what we are and will go through. Might make you feel a little better!

LOL! That is too funny. I feel the same way!

I can't wait to see pics of the nursery. I sew also and I was disappointed because, I had these plans of making myself a cute little maternity sundress and then never got around to it. Just enjoy being pregnant. The hormones will subside. Just know that this little baby knows when you are calm and when you are upset, so just breathe in and out and know that you are not along. All of us went through it too. You are doing great!!!!!

The Delivery
A married couple went to the hospital together to have their baby delivered. Upon their arrival, the doctor said he had invented a new machine that would transfer a portion of the mother's labour pain to the father. He asked if they were willing to try it out. They were both very much in favour of it. The doctor set the knob to 10 percent for starters, explaining that even 10 percent was probably more pain than the father had ever experienced in his lfe before. But as the labour progressed, the husband felt fine, so he asked the doctor to go ahead and bump it up a notch. The doctor then adjusted the machine to 20 percent pain transfer. The husband was still feeling fine. The doctor checked the husband's blood pressure and pulse and was amazed at how well he was doing. At this, they decided to try for 50 percent. The husband continued to feel quite well. Since it was obviously helping out his wife considerably, he encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL the pain to him. The wife delivered a healthy baby with virtually no pain. She and her husband were ecstatic. When they got home, the milkman was dead on their porch!
