Hello! My name is Sara and I just had my first baby on 7/9/08 by c-section! Her name is Lyla Louise Medgard and is the love of my life! She was actually due on 7/25 but decided it was time to come early after one of my regular NST appointments. It was a scary situation for me and a day that I will NEVER forget! My doctor had me set up for induction on 7/17 but it didnt go as planned when we noticed a big decrease in movement and she scored really low on her ultrasound...bascially I went to get the results from my Dr. and she said "You are having your baby today so head over to the hospital ASAP and meet me there". It caught me by surprise and I had so many different feelings going through me!

I am enjoying every single second with my new beautiful little baby girl. Motherhood is more than I could ever imagine and I couldn't ask for a more perfect child. She is everything I could ever hope for! She barely ever crys, even when we give her a bath or change her clothes or diapers. She is a breast feeding champ now and I am so glad that I stuck with it!

It is AMAZING that she is such an angel because I was thinking that she would be more like her momma was (I was collic).

Words can't even descibe the love I have for her. Now I know what love at first sight is!

I can NEVER imagine having a baby that tiny. Apparently I bake big babies...lol My newest one was 2 weeks early and weighed 8.9!! Girl if I would of went full term with him he would of been like 10 pounds...lol Jeez. Well congrats she is beautiful :)

Clorox has this new product out now called anywhere wipes, they are great and safe to use around babies! They disinfect just like bleach without being harmfull, I clean ALL my kids bath toys, counters, door handles, heck anywhere...LOL Hope that helps, as far as the vinigar thing I have no clue.

That's too funny. I was the same way, I used to LOVE that he would only kick for me. He has started kicking a little more for my husband though which makes me happy too because that makes me think he's starting to get used to him too.

How funny!!! Yeah I was greatful for everyone coming and bringing gift but man what the heck did I even register for!! LOL I too started to go shopping as soon as i found out that I was having a girl.

Yeah my heartburn is sooooo bad. Last night I woke up at 11:30pm out of a dead sleep. It hurt so bad I though that I was going to throw up, it kinda scared me!! At the u/s I had on Wednesday the tech said that she has no hair!!!

Hopefully it is just very light and thin.

minus the one piece of choc. (the mini candy bars) a day, I eat extremely healthy... all fruits, veggies, chicken, and brown rice... I have also gained like crazy in the past few weeks. I am up to 27 lbs. I cut out soda (diet caffiene free coke) and cereal hoping that would curb the weight gain.. .it has a little but not like I hoped. I gained 53 with my first so I suppose I am doing better this time. It is really hard to watch the scale go up so fast when you are doing all you can to eat healthy!

Yeah, the whole weight thing bothered me for a few days. But now I figure as long as my baby is healthy, I'll gained whatever I need to! I had a talk with my doctor about it wednesday at my appt. He had originally wanted me to gain about 30 lbs, but said he's ok with me gaining up to 40. He added that some women's bodies just naturally gain a lot during pregnancy b/c it's their chemical makeup. And if my body feels I need to gain 75, then I need to gain 75. They try to suggest keeping weight gain lower so that it's easier to recover, and less work to lose all that weight. It makes sense, but I appreciated that he understood we're not all the same. What makes it really hard for me is that I lost 30 lbs almost 2 years ago for my wedding. lol And now I'm watching myself purposefully gain it back. Hard to digest, ya know?
Good luck with your baby girl! I can't wait to meet mine either! I'm dying to see the little turkey that's been moving all around in there. At the same time, I've enjoyed being pregnant. lol I almost don't want it to end.

Thanks for the comment on seamless maternity pants! I think my mom-in-law sent me some capris she bought for me in the mail that are those! I've only worn them once but they seem nice:) I have no problem with tops - there are great ones everywhere - it's just the pants! But 3 months is not long to ride this thing out...I can't wait to meet our baby boy:):) Have a great week!

I have the same thing! I have a couple vericose veins that have shown up over the past 8 yrs or so (I just turned 29) on my ankles, but with my last pregnancy and now again, behind my right knee I have a nice purple line across the crease :( It will fade or go away completely after the pregnancy hopefully, but will maybe come back whenever you are pregnant or older :( Lovely huh! Ha Ha and I just noticed I am not the only one who liked the glucose stuff! I thought it was pretty good too :)
