November 28, 2007: This day I found out that I am pregnant with my 2nd!! It was a bit of a surprise but we are all very excited and can't wait!!

November 29, 2007: Today I went to the doctors to confirm my pregnancy. They took a urine test and it came back negative. At this point I still have 4 days before my period is actually suppose to start, so they say the HCg levels are low. I took 2 hpt and they were positive, so to be on the safe side the doctor gives me a blood test to confirm the pregnancy.

December 4, 2007: The doctor calls to let us know the blood test came back positive and indeed we are pregnant! Today is the day I am suppose to have AF, and nothing!!

December 10, 2007: Today we have our first doctors appt. Just basically they wanted family history, but still have my notes from myirst pregnancy so it went pretty fast and easy. At this point in time I am not really sick feeling at all,but still very early in the pregnancy. They scheduled my first U/C for January 7, 2008. I am a little sad b/c I was hoping it would be sooner. At that time I should be almost 10 weeks, so the baby will be very visable on the screen.

December 12, 2007: I am now in my 6 week of pregnancy and today is the first day I feel a bit sick to my stomach. I know from experience it starts out little by little everyday and just builds up day by day! I am not looking forward to this part!!!

December 22, 2007: Well, it's almost Christmas and my whole family leaves tomorrow for South Carolina for the holidays. I can't believe I am already 7 weeks and my pants are getting tight! I feel fat, and weird. I know people look at my stomach like, umm...is that I baby in there, or does she just have some extra chub! Haha...I'm pretty sure with my daughter I could still where my pants at this stage. Oh well. I have still been getting sick in the mornings, but by noon time I am usually pretty good. If I skip any meals I am not in good shape!

January 7, 2008: Today I had my first ultrasound. My husband and I got to see the baby and the heartbeat, which was beating right about 166 bpm. At this time my daughters heartbeat was 178, so I am hoping this means its a boy!! But, either way I will be happy. I was just glad to see that we aren't having twins! My mother had a dream it was twins so that kind of scared me. My belly is also popping out so much, its crazy!! At 8 weeks I had some really bad sick days, but now being 9 weeks I think I am finally coming out of it.

January 17, 2008: Today I had my first appt and everything went really well. I found out that my baby measured a bit bigger in the ultrasound that I had, so they changed my due date to Aug 6! Also, we heard the baby heat beat with the doppler so that was really exciting, and they say my uterus is now the size of a grapefruit!

January 28, 2008: At this point I have been just taking one day at a time. I feel really good with the pregnancy, but my husband has been gone to bootcamp now for about a week. I miss him a lot and I am just so focused on seeing him again that I almost forget I am pregnant. Sometimes I feel guilty about it, but it's hard not having him here. I know time will go by fast if I just keep busy. My next doctors appt. is Feb 14, and at that time she is going to schedule my ultrasound to find out the sex. So, that gives me something to look forward to!!

March 1, 2008: Wow, it's been a while since I have posted anything on here. Today was a good day. I felt the baby move for the first time. It was like little flutters. It's nice to finally feel the life growing inside of me. I have been just so focused on counting down the days until I see my husband again. Today, I offically have 20 days until I get to see him graduate from Navy Boot Camp. He is going to be so surprised to see how my belly has just grown so much. I know he will love it though. He loved my pregnant body when I was pregnant with our first. I just want to be with him so much, and share these memories with him.
