Hello everyone! I think its pretty cool to be a part of this website. It's neat to see that other women are in the same week as you and to see what they are going through. I have been pretty sick through this whole thing and even though I'm in week 14 which is beginning of the second trimester. I'm still not feeling better. :( But we will see. This is my second and we are hoping for a little boy but we will still be happy either way. I have a beautiful little 5 year old girl and she is so excited about being a big sister.
April 10th 2008
I havent really written much on here since week 14! Things have been great. I am feeling much more symptoms with this one then I did with my daughter. I feel good but lately getting swelling in left leg, back pain, and a pain on top of my belly that is like bruising or something. I still get sick every now and then but I'm glad I am past the all day every day sickness like in the first trimester!
My daughter is so excited about being a big sister! I started a journal at home where I will say things to the baby and record my doctor's appts and weight. Well, I picked it up the other day and my husband wrote a little note in there too! So sweet. So my daughter decided she wanted to put a note in there and she wrote how excited she is to see him and how cute and handsome he will be. :) She is the perfect daughter. This one is a little boy and we are thrilled! We are naming him Xavier. I just can't wait to meet my son. My baby shower is at the end of this month and I can't wait. I know it will be fun and I just want to see what items we will get to prepare for little Xavier.
I hoping to do this naturally with no drugs. We will see though!! I watch The Baby Story on TLC and sometimes I get really motivated about natural childbirth and sometimes (like this morning) I see one that was very difficult and I get really scared!! But I'm leaving the epi as an option. :)

Well good luck with your induction!! i hope all goes well.. i just came back from my app. and the doctor said my ultra-sound was fine that the baby is just symetrically small which means that everything is growing and its still getting the proper nutrients so i dont have to be induced.. good luck and keep me posted!!

Seriously doctors offices really piss me off espcially the bitchy receptionist. I hated my old doctors office and now even at my new docs I still feel like their on some kind of power trip. Its like seriously you sit and write in appts all day or make phone calls it can't be that friggin hard. Sorry haha just needed to get that out. Hopefully she has called you by now.

Sorry.. my doctor said he wasent worried but that he was going to send me for a u/s just in case... he said worse comes to worse they will just have to induce... im going to find out tomorrow.. but like i said ive been measuring small my entire pregnancy so i guess its just a small baby!

thanks for that, c with me being 39 wks wen i go for the scan, im hoping that they will say lets induce me!! but i hopeing theirs no real reason for him to stop growing.. they have to me though out this pregnancy that he is big..

Its crazy, seems we are all having similar feelings as we approach the end of week 36. Starting to get mild cramps too. They dont last more then 10 seconds at the max, its exciting and worry some at the same time. I'm not ready yet.

My doctor is the same way! She never tells me anything. My appointments are so quick and she just tells me how well I'm doing and she's gone! It's a little frustrating but the last time I was in there I just started asking questions about everything they did. I asked about all my tests and my blood pressure. I refuse to not know anything about what's going on with my body! So just start asking. They can't ignore you. You know what I mean? : )

lol.. im trying to enjoy it.. i have alot of discomfort and i complain from time to time, but like i said.. when baby is ready, he'll come. there is no scence rushing and and worrying about every little strange feeling. I am going to miss being pregnant, i love him in there!

well with my first i went into preterm labor with her at 31 weeks and they stopped it and then they just induced me at 38 weeks and with my 2nd i went into preterm labor with him at 30 wks and they stopped that and also induced me at 38 weks .... but with him now my 3rd i have not been to the hosp. one time for anything wrong no preterm labor or nothing...so honestly i couldnt tell ya u have a good chance of it happening again but ya know every pregnancy is different! so if i didnt help!

my cousin delivered her first baby boy at 37 wks.. and now shes at 39 weeks..and still hasnt had her lil girl yet...so im just guessing its diff. with everyone. Hope that helps.
