I guess this marks my official entry into the second trimester. It's much easier to relax knowing the threat of miscarriage is very low now. I was glad to hear the heartbeat at my last visit. We are looking forward to finding out the sex of the baby on Jan 21st (as long as he/she cooperates of course). I'm looking forward to finishing up my Christmas shopping this week so that I can relax and enjoy the last week before Christmas. It's our last CHristmas with just Matthew and I want to really enjoy it!30 weeks have officially passed...only 10 more to go. She has been so active these days it `s unbelievable! Sometimes it will take me by surprise and I `ll make a little noise and the girl on the other side of my cube wall will ask `Hey - What `s going on over there”
We had a great weekend away. We took my son snow tubing and he had a blast with his Daddy. I took lots of pictures. We also went to a few stores that had talking animatronics animals which were a big hit with him! He was such a good boy (just with a lot of energy). He was very interested in seeing his new cousin Riley (especially once she started crying due to a pretty big BM). Matthew wanted to see her getting her diaper changed and he kept saying `Riley sad” and `Big poop `. It was too funny! LOL! Let `s hope he `s as good with his new sister!
I am definitely feeling the pressure to get him moved to the new room now. 10 weeks will just fly by and I don `t want to be doing everything last minute. People have been giving me outfits and such for the new baby and I keep stacking them in a corner of the room until I get Matthew moved...oh well! All in good time I guess!
31 weeks today! YAY! I can't believe that time is flying by so fast. We had a busy weekend getting the last of the clothes out of the guest room. Now I just need to call a local charity to have them pick up the bedroom set and then we can paint the room. I keep telling myself that we have 9 weeks but it seems like she'll be here tomorrow so I am feeling pretty antsy. She's still super active and lately she's been hitting my bladder which makes the bathroom trips all the more frequent! LOL!

Well, a local charity came today to pick up our spare bedroom set. Now all we need to do is give the room a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint and then we can move Matthew in! I hope to get this completed by the end of the month...we'll see. All of the new baby stuff is piling up in the house and I need somewhere to start storing it...argh...I think the nesting instinct is starting to kick in! LOL!

Anyway, the picture are great! Matthew on his tricycle is too cute he doesn't look like a toddler anymore
and Alyssa is growing by leaps and bounds every time I see her. Kids grow entirely too fast!!!!
Oh my... she is beautiful!!! Is that a small smile I see? So quickly!!!!
I am at work today... Jay took the day off to stay with Riley. I just have to work a few hours today but I wanted to make my hours this week and he gets sick dependent paid days so it made sense.
TTYL
Last time if felt so rushed having to leave for Camp right after. I am still not sure about who all is coming with me... Jay is suppose to work.. and if he is working days I might just leave the boys at home.
We will be talking about it soon as we have company/ Jay's ex mother inlaw/ I hate to call her that cause she is so nice... she is staying for a few days.
Anyway hope tonight is better.
Glad the knee is feeling better. Have fun tomorrow at your cousins bridal shower!!!! That should be a nice time.
Enjoy!
I guess maybe you can stay off it more at home... maybe? We just got home today and it was nice... but Riley was up a lot last night so I am still dead tired. Its also nice to be home. Overall she did amazing in the nursery and it reassured me for when she will be at daycare all day. She was so happy, never even cared that much that I left, and was so good for them. I went a few times a day to nurse and it went smoothly. Both boys also had a blast and can't wait till next year. Anyway, hope the knee gets better soon! I wonder how you did that? I have to say I was more sore after the baby in places due to the sudden shift of weight. I needed to see the chiro a few times right after.
I was happy I did those 15 pages before Riley came while on bedrest... but I am not close to being caught up to her birth. I have at least 7-10 events that come to mind that I MUST do before I get to her stuff. ~MOTIVATION~ I don't like going back and doing things... I just like to keep the order of stuff.
his point of view is... "I can't feed her so why bother worrying about how you feel all the time... your always tired and I can't fix it." Of course I have my panties in a wad when I get tired... so I think.. "I don't give a crap whether or not he can feed the child... he better just appreciate it and SUFFER WITH ME!!!!" LOL I too stay up for the late feed...and now I am just staying up so I can have some personal time... and then pump
I could appreciate a small window of time like that to sleep.
Such a hot comodity these days!!! We new mommy's are appreciative of the scraps of time we get when we see small opportunities.... and our men just squander away sleep time like its overabundant. The inequity of it all
I totally get it!
I SOOOO need one of those nights!!!! When Jay and I go to Camp next week they have a parent date night where they take all the kids for the evening... until 10pm. They serve a nice dinner and have entertainment set up. I can't wait!!! Riley will just be down the hall in the nursery, and Hunter and Joe will be on a overnight! Riley so going to sleep good tonight... she has barely slept all day!! YAH!
She wasn't hungry since I just fed her, so I used some oralgel on her and she was crying even HARDER! So I said
"I will leave the room so YOU CAN SLEEP!" Like I have had more than 12 full hours of sleep in the past 3 days! Although to his credit he worked a 15 hour detail yesterday on his day off.... so he was tired too. She only got up 2 times last night after I got her to sleep... So Jay said "thanks" this morning and made a pass at me... and I said "honey I don't usually give it up when I am THIS tired!" I use the mini pill (but mostly abstinance LOL!!!!!.)right now while breastfeeding. I would like a more perminant form or BC when I stop BFing... and I made the doctors appt for Sept to look into it again. I know a lot of ladies that use both formula and breast milk. We did here for a while when I thought I wasn't producing enough. She took to it fine...for a while and then a few weeks later when I got my production back up I stopped using it. I wouldn't hesitate to start her on formula and keep nursing if you want at the same time for as long as you like. She will be fine with it as long as she gets a taste of it everyday. Although I think I started using bottles with my own milk first and she could get used to the bottle first and then the formula. It all worked well until Riley went on a bottle strike!!! What ever works for you and Alyssa. Every mommy and baby team are different. I think I have kept nursing cause I have my head in the sand about stopping.
Maybe I do about her sleeping in her own room too. LOL I just don't want this baby thing to end and its sad to think of NOT nursing and NOT having them in our rooms. Even if our lives might be easier in both regards. I agreed that after we get back from Camp we will use her crib. I have started to put her down for naps in there so she can get used to it. Oh on another note... I found some left over diapers size 1... but they seem to be larger than the average one made by parent choice that I will be sending your way. Riley is almost out of some of her 0-3's... I know you probably have what you need, but if you need any cute outfits, I do have a few that you would like that will be good. I also have footed pajama's too that are super cute. So if you want some let me know. Hope you have a great day!
But what can you do? I have posted a few more belly pics on my site. I am getting HUGE (or so it feels) LMAO. I just was stopping in to say HI. I will TTYL.
It just stinks cause its always on my days at work. Jay lets her sleep as long as he can get her to sleep on his days off, and I PAY FOR IT all night!!! The sitter has her today, and I told her to give her just one or two more naps if she seems like she needs it, but to keep them short. I am totally USELESS at work when I feel this way.
And its only on my days at work... so it tells me something about what happens at home when I am not home. I know these time don't last forever, but geesh... I am so tired and it makes everything seem so hard. Jay wants to move Riley into her room... and I told him that NOT UNTIL SHE IS MORE CONSISTANT in her sleeping! Cause then my job will be harder, cause I will have to leave my room and take care of her somewhere else... when its been easy to get her settled quickly in our room. I don't want Hunter waking up either with crying so its just easier. I am not making it any easier for him to sleep if he can't keep her damn schedule when I am not there... Its just not going to happen. NOWAY! He can suffer along side me! I am too funny!!
