NO PROBLEM KEEP ME POSTED HOW ARE YOU FEELING?I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL YESTURDAY I AM HAVING SEVERE PELVIC PAIN AND LOWER BACK PAIN I CAN BARELY WALK I HAVE DIALTED TO 3 CM I AM JUST WAITING TO SEE MY DR NEXT THURSDAY TO SEE WHAT I AM GOING TO DO I WILL BE 36 WEEKS SUNDAY SO I THINK ONCE I MAKE IT TO 37 WEEKS I WILL TELL HER I WANT TO HAVE HIM I AM IN SO MUCH PAIN

WANTED: Your HONEST OPINION - I was thinkin about doing choc covered strawberries, rice krispie treats and cookies, all decorated CUTELY as FAVORS for my shower... WHAT DO YOU THINK about having FOOD for favors???? PLEASE BE HONEST, you wont hurt my feelings... I just figured EVERYONE LOVES FOOD and who wants some stupid plastic thing sittin' around the house collecting dust??

When your stomach gets all hard I think its the BH contractions. Some don't hurt and some do. The good thing is that your body is preparing for the birth. if you start to notice them coming regularly and you could actually count them (they aren't all over the place), then thats the real thing. Yes..I have the same pain...more after laying down...I feel my pelvis pop back into place sometimes but while laying down sometimes I just feel like grabbing my crotch to try to stop the hurt!!

I have that exact same thing. I came to the conclusion that it is the way the baby is lying b/c it only happens sometimes. I wouldn't worry but call if it gets worse.

hi melinda..i went to the hospital last night for the exact same thing...turns out its the baby getting in posiion and laying on ur pubin bone and also the pelvis getting ready and your ligaments stretching out. they told me its only going to get worse before it gets better.....

is the pain almost in your pelvic/bladder area? I'm in a ton of pain when I stand or try to lie down. I have no clue what it is though

Yes, I am experiencing the same thing. Everytime I sit down or sit up, I feel like the baby is in my throat!! I thank god I only have a few weeks left of torture! Hang in there...its all worth it!

Whether you breastfeed or not is up to you. I would use a Medela Pump to get all the milk out so your chichi's won't get engorged. It cost about 250, but it's worth it and it works. I personally only breastfed my first about 3 weeks because I was sick of pumping and sick of my chichi's getting hard and hot and leaking milk and also there are a lot of foods you can't eat while you are doing that like sweets, ice tea, onions, peppers. I was just so tired and I felt like I had done all this work carrying the baby for practically a year and all I wanted was to be able to enjoy my own body again and eat whatever I wanted. So I stopped and she did just fine on Similac, she is smart as a whip already at 14 months old. With my second, I will probably breastfeed the same amount of time, but with my second, I will have to go back to work in six weeks as opposed to three months I had with my first. So she may get even less time. I think it's important to at least give the new baby a little breastmilk, but what I hate is how people try to make it seem like if you don't do it, you're a bad mother. These people can shove it, you do what works best for you. And I'm sorry, but I want MY body back after carrying another human being around for ten months!

Please come by my VIP site. I needed a pump to help with engorgement. It also gave my partner or any other support person to help feed the baby. I am an RN and have taught breastfeeding in the past. I am also still nursing my 7 month old (along with his diet of solid food) and everything has gone very well. I'd love to answer your questions and give you support! But please take some time to read what I have on my VIP site as it should be everything you need to know about getting started along with other tips to make it easier on you. Breastfeeding can be a breeze and if its not, its usually something that can be corrected!
