Wednesday, 3 September Everyone will say the more you pump the more you will build up - but this is often hard in your everyday life! Try Fenugreek - you can get it from health food shops, chemists etc. It works Ok for me - but if you google it you will find some people have great results. Good luck xx reneemt78 -
Sunday, 31 August You should never put cereal in babys bottle!! You can try a rice cereal as early as 4 months but that's only if baby is ready. Good luck!! collsbaby -
Sunday, 31 August Well, I just replied to your post about solids in the bottles...but you have 3 kids! You know more than me. Did you give all of your kids solids this young? This seems really early to give solids. olga777 -

Saturday, 23 August Freeze them any way you can. Bags. Storage containers. I left the hospital with a lot of little containers and I find the medela storage bags great. I know it seems like a small amount, but @ 4 days old that's a whole meal for your baby. Their bellies are so small and the milk runs threw them so fast. That's why they eat so often. I didn't really realize that until I was looking at the poster on the back of the door in my hospital bathroom. It showed comparisons of the babies belly at birth, 3 days, and maybe a month after birth. I think by 3 days their bellies are only the size of an egg. If that. As your baby grows so will your supply. My son is 6 weeks and I know many times I felt like giving up because he always seemed hungry and I seemed to not be making enough. But don't substitute. Keeping at it is what will increase your supply. So I would just freeze the milk. That's what I do. It stays good for 6 months and you can always use it later. Speaking of supply, I hear my little on in the room about ready for his supple. Congratulations! And take plenty of pictures. beautifulbebe -
Saturday, 23 August He Melinda congrats on your new baby. For the longest time I did not know that you could buy special plastic bags from Medela to store BM. I myself store only one feeding at a time in one bag. I have not accessed my supply, but if I do, I will just mix and match to get a full feeding. I hope that this helps. And, your breasts will get less swollen in about a month and your supply will increase. manda21 -
Saturday, 23 August Congrats on the baby. I have been breastfeeding for 5 months now. I was pumping and feeding off the breast for a while. It took about 2-3 weeks of pumping, then I finally began getting in about 4 ounces per breast. You can combine the bags until you have enough. Just freeze them so they last longer. I stopped pumping because with both pumping and feeding off the breast, I had a huge milk supply which left my engorged and uncomfortbale most of the time. But if you are only doing one or the other, you should be fine:) z-mommy -

Monday, 18 August i almost regret not living in FL anymore now. just to get some use outta fay. it is just a matter of how great the change in air pressure will be and how sensitive you are to it. sort of like some people with arthritis and old injuries being able predicting a storm. that is why i am going hiking in some mountains in hopes of triggering labor. babynumberthree -
Monday, 18 August yes bad weather can trigger labor or cause your water to break, I was living in florida when I was pregnant with my son and I remember the nurse warning me about bad weather during a hurcane crazylife85 -

Monday, 18 August It looks like it should only be a CAT 1. WE live right where Hurricane charlie went directly through and made it out unscathed. I think after that CAT 1's seem harmless. Good luck 3rdtymeround -
Sunday, 17 August Where exactly in Florida are you? I am right in the storms projected path too and am due to deliver at Sarasota in two weeks. I have heard that full moon which was last night and barametric pressure which the storm will cause can cause labor. Good luck! JsMomAndOneMoreComing -
