Hey Everyone! I am Megan and I am pregnant with my first child! My husband and I are pretty excited! This is actually my husbands second child. I have a 6 1/2 year old step daughter.

October 15,2007-- was our first doctors appointment! I was kinda excited! We were far enough along to be able to hear the heartbeat! It brought tears to my eyes! They made me mad that I didnt get to listen to it for too long! Only bad thing is that it still hasnt made it feel real; even after hearing the heartbeat!

We also got some possible exciting news! It might be twins!! We were thinking from my LMP that we were nine weeks! My doctor said I was measuring too big to be 9 weeks with just one... so I am either pregnant with twins or we are further along; 13-14 weeks! We will find out on November 12th what is going on! My doctor didnt want to do an ultrasound becuase he said it would be wasting it! If I am further along then on the 12th we will be 20 weeks and find out the sex of the baby! If not we are having twins!

I wish we would have had the ultrasound though.. I dont feel as excited as I was! I guess because I dont know now what is going on.. I dont have control or know what to be excited about! I really hope this all changes after my appointment!

November 12th-- We had our second appointment! Yeah! Well my doctor didnt want to do an ultrasound, which so ticked me off, but he is back to thinking we are 16 weeks with one! He says I am measuring now for 16 weeks so we will stick with that till we have our next appointment; which we will do an ultrasound at on December 10th! I am really excited for that appointment to find out what the baby is! We are now thinking it may be a girl because of the heart rate, even though you cant be sure using that method, but going by the old wives tales, it would be a girl! Which I also have to get excited about now since was really set that it was a boy and I have only been looking at boy items!

November 29- Well a couple weeks ago I was pretty sure I felt the baby for the first time, but then again I wasn't sure. My husband was upset that I didn't call him quick enough for him to be able to feel the kick! Well I am now sure I had felt the baby! I was getting ready to go to sleep and I felt the same thing as before and the baby just started kicking! He/She started kicking for like 5 minutes! I called my husband in and he finally got to feel the baby! He was excited which made me so excited! Finally the first excitment from him! Yeah!

December 10th- I am too excited! I get to find out what the baby is today! I am so beside myself! This will be my first ultrasound so I also get to see the bugger! I am so afraid that the baby wont be a favorable position to be able to tell! I am the type of person that HATES surprises so this has been the hardest part of the pregnancy.. not knowing! I want to know do I call my stomach Logan or Trevor! I kinda think it might be a boy but my husband is SURE it is a girl! So I guess we will find out today at 2:30!!!!! OH I CANT WAIT! hehe!

December 11th- ITS A BOY!!! We are too excited! I am just really excited! I even ran out and did a little shopping last night! Kinda made me mad though... cant buy any new born or like 6 months clothes cause he will be here in the Spring and they have winter clothes out now! ahh.. but got some good things! So excited!

oh yeah... old wives tales on the heart rate.. not good.. Our baby's heart rate has been 158, 160 and 153 and he was hanging his stuff to make sure we knew he was a boy! LOL!

December 26- Well Christmas has come and passed! Trevor got some really cool things from his Nannie( Great-grand) and his Grandma and Paps! Just makes it so much more real that he will be here soon! I realized which I dont know if it is a good thing or a bad thing.. but I will be entering the 3rd trimester soon! Oh my god how this time has just flown by! So now I am wondering if it will speed up or slow down from here! Dont know what I want it to do either! Have a had a few changes.. Not so easy anymore! Have trouble sleeping.. getting confortable has become a serious issue and now I am getting leg cramps! Which I dont understand because I have been eating a banana everyday to prevent this and well I am getting them now! My Mom said though she got them when pregnant, so I am wondering if I just couldnt avoid them! Agg! Hungry a lot now! I havent had any 'cravings" or really been that hungry expect in the very beginning.. now I need something every few hours! Which by the way... I dont like eating! :-) hum whatelse! Oh the sitting up bothers me too.. seems like his head is right there between the ribs! At the u/s he was breech so that is probably what I am feeling! Oh my memory also has gone along with my vocab! I feel like the dumb blonde half the time! Oh well! It comes back right!

December 30- Well today I am able to see Trevor kicking or punching! Pretty cool! My stomach bounces when he does it! I was playing with him earlier! Every time he would punch or kick I would poke him back and he would answer back! Just so cool! He was probably getting mad.. but I just though it was so cute and funny!

January 19th- We had an 4D ultrasound done today! WOW is all I can say! How amazing has tech come to be able to see the things we can see! Just too amazing to see what my son will look like! He is so precious as any parent would say.. but I just cant tell you how real it made it that in just a few short months here.. I will be holding him in my arms! As my husband said... all our practice paid off and boy did it! I just cant wait to touch him and hold him in my arms! He looks like me too which is such a plus!!! Not that my husband isnt hot or anything like that it is just with my stepdaughter.. she is the SPITTING image of him.. I wanted to be able to tell I had some part in creating this little guy!! I am trying to figure out how to upload the pictures.. once i do I will share!!!

Oh and I also got some relief today.. I have been a little worried latey because I havent felt him move as much..I have an anterior placenta which is blocking most of his movement! Made me feel better that I shouldnt freak out knowing that and also he isnt breech anymore!

February 28-.. Well it has been awhile since I have updated anything going on! Everything is going pretty well, I have started to swell really bad! Feet, ankles, hands and face! I have no ankles anymore ;-( I always thought I had cute ones so looking down there doenst make me so happy! I seem to just be putting on weight! AWW.. Bets have started that he will be here a lot sooner then everyone thinks! All my friends and family say by April I will have a baby! Which as long as he is healthy, I dont mind! I am ready to have him here!

Well that is about it! Hope everything is going well for everyone!

March 3rd- Well I think it was confirmed that they have my due date is wrong! LOL! I had another 4d done on the 29th and well they measured him! From his measurements and weight ( 5.35 pounds), I should actually be 35 weeks! I mean think about it.. if he is suppose to gain between a pound to a pound and half every week, if I went by the doctors due date that means I would be having like a 14 pound baby!!!! WOW! Could we say C-Section! So I think my friends and my Mom have it right! So bets are now being placed on when he will come!

I have started to have some pains which I think could be the starting process! I have had a few contractions, and I also this get this sharpe pain in the lower area which I think personally is him starting to enter the birthing canal! He has also dropped. My stomach is A LOT lower then before and I do like it because it is so much easier to breathe! I guess time will tell and he will let us know when he really wants to come! All i know is that I really have to start getting ready for him! Could be 2-8 weeks... makes a bigger difference!

April 7th-

Hey Ladies

Well I am finally coming down to the end! I havent been updating as much because I am just frustrated with my doctors and the not knowing of my due date! LOL!

I am so ready for this little to be here! Each day it keeps getting harder and I keep getting more frustrated! I think my problem is that I have OCD. I went off all my meds when my husband and I decided to start trying for a baby. I have done great up until this point! It also doesnt help that I have six doctors in my practice and at each visit all of them give some different type of information! I really dont think they realize or care how harmful that can be to someone... especially with OCD. I have no control over anything going on at the moment and I have just become so impatient and frustrated!

Though I do think he will be here soon! It is in my gut or it is just wishful thinking! If I make it to my due date.. I think I will go so insane! I have had some changes in my body! Yeah! Might be TMI but I think I have started to lose my mucus plug, though I have read that really doesnt mean anything because you can actually lose it a couple months before.. but it gives me hope! I have some cramping going on down there. I have started to leak, which I never thought I would be excited for! LOL! Some back pains and I would say also some braxton hicks... they come and go.. nothing too strong though.. That also worries me.. I have such a high pain tolorance, I am afraid I am going to brush something off and it means something. Well I guess i am just rambling.. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow.. I am hoping that they say there has been some progress! A couple weeks ago they did a cervix exam because I was having a lot dabbing pains and they felt his head but nothing had started! Just hoping we are getting this show on the road!!!
