Monday, 23 June do you know what you are having bowling4 -
Monday, 23 June No. I have not heard of any updates on the Chicco recall. I was going to wait until the end of this month and see if they put them back in stores. Rest assured, if they are back in stores, they are good ones.
I am just glad they found the glitch! jancfromsf -
Saturday, 21 June oh thats cool! have a great weekend! alomah -
Friday, 20 June Hi there, I'm from week 38 and I was just reading some of your comments. Not quite sure how I stumbled across you but I love it when I read how totally EXCITED someone else is about pregnancy. I stand in awe of it too. Its just the most amazing experience a woman can behold. God has been soooo good to me and blessed me many times but each time is even more special. I pray that your pregnancy and birth goes amazingly well, (I'm sure it will considering your oh so positive attitude) and may the good Lord bless you with many more.
Cheers from down under (NZ)

Friday, 20 June they feel like a powerful heartbeat in your tummy : ) tangerina -
Friday, 20 June well, the 7th month is a great month to put everything together.. you still feel pretty great and you look sooo cute pregnant! so it's all good! :) tangerina -
Friday, 20 June that's a good place to feel them... that's where i felt them for the longest time.. and as he went lower into my pelvis, i could feel them lower.
yes!! i'm VERY excited!! last week i wasnt.. I just felt awful and sick of being pregnant.. but once i realized how close i am.. and everyone around me is unfortunately, trying to induce themselves, naturally or medically, i came to the conclusion that i love my baby too much to rush him just because i'm uncomfortable. I learned a big lesson about patience and motherly sacrifice. If I end up being one of the ones still posting on week 42, then so be it.. i'm excited that i'm so close, and i'm at peace w/ letting him take his time to grow big and strong.
I'm fully confident that my body can handle any size baby that God gives me and I have embraced a natural birth no matter the circumstances. :)
So yes, because of all this, i'm totally excited!! I bought a mini-van last month and we got the windows tinted last night so he wouldnt cook in the car, we installed the car seat.. his crib and furniture are all ready, his bath products have all arrived from Amazon.. and now i'm just happy to have him w/ me at work all day :) It is very exciting!
Especially when you think that soon you'll be holding your little one and he'll look up at you for the first time and focus those little eyes on your face... blinking and stuff.. and man, the thought of that makes me want to cry. I find myself thinking of his eyes looking at mine all day and it's such a great, satisfying feeling.
Just be patient and stay positive no matter how much it sucks to be uncomfortable (easier said than done). Because it does come to an end and the end comes faster than you think it does!! And do not fall into the bandwagon of inducing yourself to put yourself out of your misery.. babies come when they are ready and when your body is ready... no need to rush them and pluck them early because you think you know best! :) tangerina -
Friday, 20 June hehe... aww!! how cute!! i think that's about as exciting as they get! i mean, later on, you'll start feeling some serious movements. Where do you feel the hiccups?? that's how i could tell which direction he was facing.. I knew he wasnt breech because i felt them low :)
For now, ENJOY being pregnant!! i'm sure you're prob feeling great!! enjoy it while it lasts!! around week 35, you'll start to really feel the weight as well as your ligaments loosening so it becomes more and more difficult for you to move, sit, stand etc. Once you enter week 37, you start feeling a little anxious and desperate for it to be over.. but it's still better than week 38!! and then on week 38 you realize..."I only have 2 weeks!! EEK!!" and it gets really exciting but at the same time very tiring and you dont feel as good as often as you did.
Either way, enjoy your little bump because i'm quickly starting to realize that i wont have one soon :( And take some good maternity pics!! they are worth the money and the memories! The best time to take them is when you're 7 or 8 months. At 9 you've got some water weight going so it's not as cute. LOL! tangerina -
Friday, 20 June yep.. it feels cute huh? my baby gets hiccups every single time i eat... this week he's slowed down a lot but for about 3 or 4 months, he'd get them about 7 times a day! LOL!! it was sooooooo cute! tangerina -
Friday, 20 June like a rhythmic little thumping. They feel cute.. like you're being poked over and over again, but gently. ErinInSchool -
Friday, 20 June For me the hiccups just feel like little jolts, I started feeling those before kicks, even though kicks are much stronger. KristenMatt -
Thursday, 19 June well then a huuuge congratulations for your pregnancy! hubby and i were/are lucky...we got pregnant on our 1st try. i was thinking this would be my 'last hurrah' so i was kiiiinda hoping for twins (boy/girl). i'll think 'twin' thoughts for you for next time around ;) KristenMatt -
Thursday, 19 June i wanted twins w/this pregnancy. i was hoping for a girl/boy twin pregancy. but nope, we got another boy. i'm ok w/that now. i think i'm all set w/kids though. i have my little girl kitty cat and she can be my little spoiled princess ;) I used to be close to my twin sister, but not so much anymore. we've definitely grown apart in our lives. i'm not saying one of us is better than the other, just different. too different for me to be around her frequently. ~kristen KristenMatt -
Thursday, 19 June Hi: you wrote that "we don't usually do that here"...i'm assuming you're fm the UK? yea, moms-to-be don't usually plan or 'spearhead' their own shower but it's certainly ok to have some input (if they're not being surprised). i wouldn't say they're "required" to bring gifts, but yes...these are 2 different events. a gift at the baby shower and a separate gift at the christening (i was born & raised in a roman catholic family). the christening gift is religious related, while the baby shower gift is simply something the baby or mum could use or needs. yeah, it sounds like a lot, but they are 2 separate events...2 separate gifts. i think of it like having twins (i'm a twin), we ea get separate gifts for bdays. i mean, now that we're adults, we don't really have bday parties but when we were kids, we had one bday party and we ea got gifts. xox bowling4 -
