Madame Zaritska's reading

Madame Zaritska, our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child. Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.

What she senses for you:
The day you deliver, outside will be slightly overcast. Your baby will arrive in the afternoon.

After a labor lasting approximately 13 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and will be 19 inches long. This child will have light blue eyes and a lot of hair.

Baby CAMERON..

is on his way :) !!!

August 23 - September 22
Planet - Mercury
Element - Earth: Sign: VIRGO!

For better or for worse, the Virgo baby is plenty fussy! How else do you expect these kids to grow up to be perfectionists? Get used to it: the Virgo baby can be quite particular and needs to have a routine. At least having a routine isn't all bad, but don't even think of changing it! This baby will not respond well to a lot of change. The Virgo baby can also be picky about food, so keep it simple at mealtimes. Aside from these peculiarities, this tot doesn't require a lot. A clean bedroom and simple clothing are sure to keep this baby dry-eyed. As well, the Virgo baby is quite good at amusing itself for hours with the most basic of games, feeling very little need for the attention of others. The Virgo child also wants to talk early on, probably earlier than most of the other babies around. There's a lot going on in that mind, so it may as well come out! From an early age, this baby can also be seen as mother's little helper, as the need to serve others is a strong Virgo trait. They also won't make a fuss over their accomplishments, since by nature these kids are a bit shy. To sum up, the Virgo baby is fine on their own but also happy to help others, loves cleanliness, and can easily keep themselves amused. Pretty (albeit picky!) good kid.

How`s my pregnancy doing?

OMG, don't get me started on insurance. My insurance is now jumping from $200 a month to $450 when I add our daughter AND our deductible is $2000. Such a beating and we wonder why people are stressed out!

Other than dealing w/ the heat and getting big, I'm feeling ok. How are you?

klasnaya - Thursday, 24 July
Hey girl...My hubby finaly set up our pic photoshop. I have my 28 and 30 week belly shots up. I will make a 32 week belly shot tonight when i get home from work. So that should be up tonight too. I realy think the pics make my belly look bigger than for real but still pretty close. How are ya?

fyrefly - Thursday, 24 July
Hey :) just read your post on Braxton Hicks... Usually mine are just a tightening of my belly, it doesn't hurt at all (Sometimes I get very mild cramping with them) but my whole belly goes very hard, if I poke it it's like trying to poke a rock :) Mine have only been lasting about 20 - 30 seconds at a time. Hope this helps :)

UmaJaine - Thursday, 24 July
A Braxton Hicks contraction may feel similar to menstrual cramps. I feel mine in my pelvis or lower back. They are uterus contractions and your body's way of practicing for labour contractions to help push baby out.

Braxton Hicks are not evenly spaced. When they are real contractions they are spaced evenly and get closer and closer together.

It's great that you know how lucky you are as far as insurance goes!! the US needs to wake up and learn from your country for sure!

sparky - Tuesday, 22 July
I don't think it's working out. It seems like it's pretty much over.

cmarietaylor - Tuesday, 22 July
That is one of the many "faults" of our country! 12 months.....what a luxury!

keri - Tuesday, 22 July
 I love these colours together!

Hey how's it goin'? Camren or Cameron... either way it's a very cute name lol! I have no clue why we spell it that way, my husband picked the name and that's how he wanted to spell it, I think he just spelt it how he sounded it out to himself lol!

So anyways, how are you feeling? Your belly pics are great, perfect little baby bump... although I bet you don't feel like it's that little lol! Things are good here, kids are happy to be out of school and on the tear! I thought it'd be hard having them home every day with having a new baby... but I think it's actually easier.

Anyway, hope you're good... let me know as soon as anything happens! xx

keri - Tuesday, 22 July
The new pics start on page 6 in my photos... thought it might be easier to let you know rather than you trying to find them by the date they were added lol!

keri - Tuesday, 22 July
Hi everyone... hope you're all well! I recently added some new pictures of Camren... he's getting so big and such a personality! Took the kids to get their photos done last week, I'll be adding them when they come in.

we could get preggy whenever we wanted, but i think the rule of thumb is 2-3 normal cycles. ive had two 28 day cycles, ovulated on time, and bled on time since. my body heals very very quickly.

we chose october because ima dork, and want a july baby :D i love crab people :D since im in hawaii.. its pretty much always sunny and beautiful here- so i didnt even think about the summer months. it never gets above 90, and im already acclimated to the humidity!

im REALLY excited about trying again, and i feel a lot more confident this time around about it. my husband and i can get through anything- weve figured out :D between raising our 5 animals, pregnacy. abortion. the military, and his motherinlaw?

i cant think of anything that anyone could throw at us that we wouldnt survive, lol.

anyway! hows your pregnancy been coming along? how have you been feeling!?

cmarietaylor - Monday, 21 July
I bet you are counting down the days until your leave. You have a 12 month maternity leave? That's awesome! I'm a Realtor so there's no such thing has maternity leave. I'm able to take off 6 weeks but I will have to ask for assistance from co-workers but that means splitting commissions and any business they generate on my behalf during my time off. So, with that being said, I'll prob. only be able to take a few weeks off. Really, I'm unsure how I'm going to handle the situation.

Wish there was a simple remedy for swelling. I'm sure it can be painful. Enjoy your week and I'll ttyl.

happyinvention - Monday, 21 July
i only made it 5 months, but i totally understand wanting your body back. we had about a week between when we made our decision to terminate, and when the procedure took place.. that entire week was SO hard- i just kept hoping to myself that the lil one wouldnt start kicking or anything... because i hadn't felt it yet and certainly didnt want to.

at any rate, we are trying again in october! i tracked my periods (which are back to normal) and when i ovulate (also back to normal!) so hopefully ill get preggy mid october :D who knows, though!!!

we arent exactly taking precautions till than, aside from abstaining during my "fertile" window... so if we get preggy before than,... YAY!

happyinvention - Sunday, 20 July
i needed a break from the site... too many pregnant friends, and i was a little bitter at the time. i feel better now though, and we deciided to start trying again in october :)
i mostly want to drop the baby weight, and some extra. im trying to get my bmi back to around 19 (on the lower side of healthy) and be in top notch shape for baby making! ive read so many stories from women saying that being in shape totally helped with being preggy and feeling well
sooooo :) that is all on my end! weve been dealing with the military a lot! we got a new puppy after the baby issues, and ive been having a blast with her and my other four animals (lol, we have menagerie)! im back to running several miles a day and have re-pierced my lip and bellybutton :D
im happy :D

We learned about how and when to bath the baby, diaper changing, when to take the baby to the hospital (in an emergency), tempurature/how to take it and the degrees to be concerned about, SIDS, feeding times, how to hold the baby etc. We're also taking the infant CPR class in August. It will teach infant CPR as well as safety items. I was surprised to hear that there are several house plants that are poisonous to newborns.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're in pain. What does your OB say? Is there anything that you can do?

I will have the cyst removed at the same time. I will be glad when all of this is over with. I just want her to be here already and to make sure she is healthy. Enjoy your weekend and I hope your lefts feel better.

cmarietaylor - Friday, 18 July
I know, I can't stop thinking about it! What a reality check and I have so much to take care of still. So much for being tired! HA! How are you this week? I hope all is well. We went to our 1st "Baby Basics" class last night. It was pretty informative.

klasnaya - Friday, 18 July

Love the nursery.....very cute and love the colors! Sorry to hear your legs and feet are swollen. My seem to swell up but if I down a ton of water I'm ok. My back has been killing me! I'm carrying her pretty low. Found out today that our c-section is scheduled for the 8th of Sept. Less than 2 months....starting to freak out!
