My profile

Hi everyone!! My name is Nicole, I'm 28 and expecting my 5th baby ( I am still in awe that I have so many kids, it's like they just keep showing up!...lol) Motherhood is my life, I work full time during the week as a trucking company manger. My oldest (Alyssa) is a soccer star, she is 10 and the most awesome kid. My other daughter (Lexi) is 6 and she is every bit my curse child from my mother-she is too smart, sassy and very independent, she is in Kindergarten. My boys (Micah) & (Jeremiah aka Bullfrog) are 4 & 14 months old. Micah is STILL in the process of potty training (ugh) and a serious sports lover, and Jeremiah is a serious trip the way he throws himself the biggest tantrums whenever he doesn't get his way, he's quite dramatic with it and you can tell he is the BABY of the family. They ALL think they will make an appearance on American Idol someday....

I am hoping for a girl after just having 2 boys, I also secretly hope my little sister I just lost last year will be getting another chance at a happier, longer life, and she would come back to be with us again if she had the choice to. So, needless to say, this baby is very special to our family, even if what I hope for is not possible, a baby is happiness and miracle all it's own...

I have been feeling pretty good, the usual- all day sickness, which is pretty much gone now, the VERY selective appetite (still in full effect!), the peeing, the, ummm, gas issues and consto-pation...lol...I am horny 24/7, I could hump a wall...lmao! So, here's to the rest of our journey! Best mommy & baby wishes to everyone!!

IT'S A GIIIIIRRRRRLLLL!!!!

Her name will be EMMA GRACE :o)

Oh, We are so happy, I am in LOVE again !!!

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sounds painful, hope you're feeling ok. I didn't know you could have dental work done during pregnancy. I really need to get in for a cleaning, it's been forever. I had that pubic symphisis dysfunction (or whatever it's called) near the end of my last pregnancy too. It was awful!!! Felt like someone was prying my crotch apart! Fingers crossed that doesn't happen to us again. I'm with you, I went just over 200lbs. last time, and refuse to do it again. Uugh, I've been having some lower back pain, and random cramping the past couple of days. So uncomfortable when I'm on my feet for any length of time. Baby's kicks have gotten stronger and she feels like shes grown much bigger during the past 2 weeks. Have you started getting Emma's room ready yet? I feel like this pregnancy has gone by so fast, so far. But I haven't felt an urgency to get everything set up.

Emma Grace is such a beautiful name! My grandmother's name is Grace, so I've always loved that name. You were going to have a baby for your sister? Now that's love!
My belly is definetly not as cute this time either. I gained 60+ lbs with Aiden, and lost 30 right away. Then I guess you have to exercise or something?! Needless to say, I started out a lot heavier this time around. Took a lot longer to look pregnant, and I don't have that tight little basketball tummy! I'm trying really hard to achieve a healthy weight gain, and staying away from the ice cream! How bout you, how are you managing your weight?

Hey there, yep i have 2 boys and 1 girl..and a baby boy that passed away 3 years ago. My poor daughter is just craving a little sister poor thing! haha if she doesnt end up with a sister i think she will be spoiled for the rest of her life! haha
yep just about done with the 1st trimester. feeling weird. like not as pregnant. i think i am not having that sickness for the 1st trimester anymore but not yet big or feeling the baby and it just sucks and makes me worry.
Did you come up with a name for your little girl?

Mommydaisy - Wednesday, 4 June
Ya know, I had no idea Aiden would be such a popular name. Saw it in a baby name book, and loved it from sex in the city. Now I swear, you can go to the zoo or the park and yell Aiden and 10 little boys turn around! HaHa! Wow, 10 and puberty is starting, but I guess thats when it started for me too. It just seems like at every age there's such big changes to adapt to-this parenting thing never gets dull, hey!
I read your comments on your profile and learned of the loss of your sister. I just wanted you to know that my heart aches for you and your family. So, I can imagine how precious this new life is to all of you.
I don't really feel like this pregnancy is much different from my first, other than I've had lots of bad headaches and a few diff food cravings. I bought 2 little girl outfits for next year before the ultrasound because they were to cute to pass up. I guessed girl the morning of the ultrasound, and Aiden has always said the baby is a girl. My husband thought boy, but I think that was wishful thinking. I'm pretty sure it's a girl. I've just heard the stories of parents expecting a gender and just preparing for that, only to be shocked. Yikes!

heatherc - Tuesday, 3 June
hey there how are you doing? how do you feel? so its a girl hu?! how exciting, i am hoping for a girl to but we will see!

Mommydaisy - Tuesday, 3 June
The sun is not very forgiving, is it?! Ya know, I've always put a generous amount of noxema cream on really bad burns, feels cool and soothing. Have you ever tried this?

We wanted our first baby's gender to be a surprise (well, at least I did!)so I'm no expert when it comes to looking at the scans. But, the tech said it wasn't what she did see, it was what she didn't see. Soooo IDK! I don't think I'll have another scan as long as my doc isn't concerned about anything. I have an app. tomorrow and she will go over the results of my 19 week scan. So weird to have to wait a whole month to hear results especially when I know the baby will have already changed so much since then. Maybe we'll pay for a 3D scan-so expensive though! Have you ever had one?
My son(Aiden) is finally doing better! There's nothing worse than taking care of a sick kid when you're sick yourself. Gotta dig down deep to find that extra strength! I'm still pretty sick with a cough and sore throat. Aiden's 3rd birthday is tomorrow. WOW, I can't believe how fast they grow up! But, we've had to postpone his party again because we're all sick. Not fun, but he'll still have his day, eventually.

How was the beach? The weather is just starting to warm up here, so no swimming yet. I can totally understand your daughter's reaction because I have 2 brothers and always wanted a sister. She must be thrilled! So how certain are you this baby's a girl? I'm not completely convinced because we never got a clear view. Such a bummer because after having a boy all I want to do is go pink and purple crazy!

felicia-lundstrom - Sunday, 1 June
My DH's parents only had 1, and now he's saying that he only wants to have one because he got all the attention.. yadda yadda, but I know how it is growing up with siblings... and I want my daughter or son to have the same feeling I did. My sister is bestfriend. Since I've moved to Minnesota, I don't have any friends.. So she's who I talk to when I'm lonley or just want to talk. ANYWAY- congratulations on becoming a mother of 5!! :)

Mommydaisy - Saturday, 31 May
You were right! I took him back to the doctor today, and they gave him augmentin, cough syrup, and eye drops because he has pink eye to top it off! I also saw the Doc because I've been sick for days, and he gave me an antibiotic for possible strep throat. I'm a little reluctant to take it because I've never taken an antiboitic while pregnant before, but I really don't think I can shake this on my own. What a day! Yuk!!!

How are you feeling? You're having a little girl too, right?

Mommydaisy - Friday, 30 May
Thanks for sharing. I've just been concerned because he has never been this sick before, and I feel so helpless. He has been on amoxicillan for 8 days! Though, last night and today he seemed to be doing better. It's just frustrating when I don't know how fast to expect him to recover, and it seems like you have to be dying before the doctor will see you! He's almost done with the prescription, so I may have to call them again.
Thanks again, hope you are doing well.

felicia-lundstrom - Thursday, 29 May
Awe I bet, I love my sisters so much. It's good having siblings, you'll always have someone to talk to, to tell your secrets to, that will never ever judge you. Having sisters- to me, is so wonderful. I know I'm definitely going to have more then just one child. I bet your kids love you so much :)
