*BiRtH StOrY*

Ok....SoOoo....WhEre To BeGin?

Well...it all started on Saturday at about 4in the morning. I was up for a couple hours

with really bad cramps, but it was almost

continuous, so i couldnt tell if they were

contractions or not...i kind of figured they were, and i was 1day overdue

so i prayed to God that this was it...N ThEN THEY SToPPED!! haha

so i fall asleep...i wake up the next

morning and i feel almost nothing...just a little crampy...but low and

behold they start up again! But they feel stronger

now! So my mom goes out and buys all the

rasberry leaf tea, black licorice, and licorice tea,

and schedules me for a prenatal massage

because they said that might make me go...

My appt was at 3 and its pouring outside, and the pain

has gotten stronger, so we go to the parlor, and i can barely stand for very long

by now...i figured this was it but i was still

in disbelief...the massage was nice at times

but all i was doing was watching the clock because

by now the contractions were about 4-5 minutes apart....

so once it was done, i tell my mom, i cant take it anymore!

i want to go to the hospital just to check out what was going on...

so we go home and grab our things (mom is annoyingly excited) and we

drive to the hospital around 4pm...SoOo

we get there and they hook me to the machines...

my contractions were real, but they

werent strong enough, close enough together, and i was still

basically closed!! only dilated to a 1...

so even though i was in a whole

lot of pain, the nurse gave me the option of either walking

around the hospital for 2hrs, or going home and

coming back when they were stronger...well...i would have killed

some1 if they made me walk through those painful things...

and we live almost 30minutes

from the hospital!! so mom the hubby and i decided

we would go get a hotel...that way mom could stay there

while i was in the hospital after baby....

soooooo...we get to the hotel...and have problems

getting in, so im sitting in the lobby in hella pain

looking like crap clenching my fists and moving funny in the chair

while people r staring at me...haha...cuz man those things hurt!!

we finally get in the room, and i take a bath...ADVICE FOR

ALL OF YOU ABOUT TO GO INTO LABOR?!? TAKE A BATH!!

IT WORKS WONDERS!!!! even though im really

tall and the bath was tiny...i found a way....

its good as long as your water

hasnt broken.....so anyway....i get out and try to eat something because

i knew itd be a long couple of days...

i couldnt stand it though...i put a fry in my mouth and gagged...

every time i ended a contraction as well i would gag

(sorry to scare u expecting moms...just speaking the truth!) heh...so i try

to sleep through the pain, and around 11

i decided i DEFINITELY cant take it anymore,

and said that id kill em if they didnt admit me this time...haha

soooo...we go back to the hospital...walking

through those halls was no easy or fun task...right before

we hit the elevator...i threw up the two fries that i had tried to

swallow...luckily it was late at night

so no one saw me do it in the trash can right in front of the elevator....that

was alittle embarrassing....

hook me up again...and they noticed i dilated to a 2....wow...slow progress!! lol

but that my cervix was thinning quickly so

they wanted to keep me and if i kept making quick

progress that i would be admitted...so we stayed in

the Triage room for a few hours...when the nurse

finally decided to give me a pill for the pain

so that i could get some sleep...i hadnt slept

since 4am the night before so she knew that if this

was it id have to get as much rest as i could get....well....

the pill worked but i only slept about an hour or so

when the pill wore off....but anyway...i was finally admitted

for sure because i was making slow but sure progress......

girls one of the crappy parts is transfering from TRIAGE to the

delivery room....hooked to an IV that walk really sucks! haha....

sOooo...they move me at about 5in the morning on Sunday

the 11th (already basically

24 hours of contractions ...crazy right?!?) and i sit in the labor room for

more hours...my nurse here was really nice, but EVERY time she

checked me, she did it in the middle of a contraction and it really hurt....

WHICH MADE ME BLEED!! but i was still only

dilated to a 3...progress was so slow that

my dr came in and decided that they would induce with pitocin...

luckily my dr believes that there are no studies

showing that getting an epidural early will harm the baby,

so she said that i could get it whenever

i wanted...so within 15 minutes the anaesthesiologist came in and

gave it to me before they started the pitocin drip...

MAN IT WAS HEAVEN!! hourswent by b4 i jumped from

a 3 to 6 pretty slowly....at around 3pm my nurse came back in

and checked me and when she did she said

OMG...THERE GOES YOUR BAG OF WATERS.....

she keeps checking...and says OMG YOUR DILATED TO A 10!!

ITS TIME TO PUSH!!! everyone in the room lit up....i was still in disbelief...

especially because by now i couldnt feel my legs or

anything so i was afraid i wouldnt be able to push....haha...

but when she looked down she could see the baby crowning already!!!

so she called the dr to come up quick! and told me not to push...haha

so the dr gets there...im pushing right? all of a sudden i see everyone

holding my legs jump back super quick and say

WOOAAHH!! I pushed his head out so fast they thought

they were going to have to catch his whole body!! *HaHa*

so we're laughing through this whole deal (thank god for epidurals) haha

and it only took me about 30minutes to push

the little guy out! She said its because my muscles were so strong from bein an athlete...

that was a good thing...but she said next time i better come in quick because

im going to go fast most likely!! SoOo Ya...i felt him slide the

rest of his little body out...and low and behold

theres my little guy layen on my chest!! =) i barely tore

which was a good thing...and the swelling went away quickly...i DEFINITELY

WASNT expecting him to be 8lbs!! I guess through

this whole preg i was allllll belly....hehe...he was perfectly

healthy, and latched on to my breast

with no problems or hesitation! lol

and we were released in 2days....

it was a loooooooong labor...but the last hour or

two went so quickly! allllll of this pain, and id do it

all over again...i definitely wont forget how it hurt though....lol hope i didnt scare

to many of you expecting mommies out there!! its soooo

worth it so dont be afraid.....thanks for reading =)

SoOooOo this is my first journal entry and i had the

lol...buT God BLeSsEd Me!! YaYYy...So iT LoOkS LiKe

It WiLL Be JaYLeN Amari LeWiS. So CuTe!!

TimE To Go ShoPpiNg NoW =D Oo and they moved

my due date to November 8th. Mammy will

be happy about that because her birthday is November 5th,

and she told me shes going to do

whatever it takes to make me have that

baby on that day!! HaHa...i dont mind...mummys

first! =)

Ok...SoOoOo...noThiNG REALLY ExCiTiNg

is happening today but,

i had THE WORST

day yesterday. It was one

thing after another

and I just couldnt stop crying,

but you know what?

I fell asleep with hubby watching

a movie and talking,

and i woke up today absolutely

ECSTATIC to be pregnant!!

I had a dream about my baby boys

face and omg how beautiful he is!!!

Now i dont want to rush him

at all but I cant wait til my son

is here!!! Ooo my goodness

im going to be a mommy =D =D =D
