Gerrad and I on our Cruise in March (12 weeks prego) Gerrad, Macie and I in Vegas: Macie was taking lessons :)
A little about myself... My name is Molly and I just recently had my second little princess on September 27th. My husband Gerrad and I have another little girl who is 5 years old, her name is Macie and she is super excited to be a big sister. My pregnancy definitely had its ups and downs but overall it was pretty enjoyable. We got pregnant in Sept of '06 and discovered at my 10 week appointment that I had miscarried so that was a rough patch. We started trying again about 3 months after and got pregnant again right away, which was such a blessing. I was so cautious and worried about every little thing for the first few weeks. I spotted quite a few times and had a trip to the hospital but everything turned out great, God is good!! Now here I am blessed with another beautiful daughter. My sister in law is also expecting a little one and is due exactly one month after me so that is definitely an exciting experience to be sharing with her.
I figured since we now have our little girl I would update my page and take off most of my pregnancy info and turn it into my "new baby" page :) Congrats to all you pregnant mommy's and new mommy's out there! I have definitely enjoyed sharing my pregnancy experience with all you great gals!!

Birth Story:
I was scheduled to be induced on September 27th but was pretty unsure about the whole induction thing but after LOTS of thought and consideration I decided to go ahead with the induction. Thursday Sept 27th I arrived at the hospital to begin the process at 7:00am. They finally got everything started at around 8:00am with the pitocin and my first round of antibiotic for my Group B Strep. My contractions really didn't start to kick in until about 9:30-10:00 and they weren't very strong at all. At 8:00am I was still only dilated to a 2 and about 2 hours later was only a 3, things seemed to be taking forever as I am not a very patient person. They up'd the pitocin every 20 minutes to try to speed things up but it wasn't doing too much. I was basically at the mercy of the contractions until my Dr could get back and break my water to get the process moving along. I was checked quite a few times and didn't seem to be making any progress. The nurses suggested if I wanted an epidural I go ahead and get it before my Dr broke my water because it was pretty much a given that things would move fast once he did break my water because my labor with my first daughter was super fast and they thought this one would be the same. I went ahead and got the epidural although I wasn't even in pain from the contractions hardly at all.. I thought it was better to be safe than sorry later on if it was too late. My Dr finally came in and broke my water at about 1:20pm and boy did I have LOTS of fluid!! They pretty much let me rest for a while and checked me about an hour or so later and I was dilated to a 5 which was MUCH better than a 3 in my opinion, I was half way there. They checked me again about an hour later and I was fully dilated and ready to have a baby, it was really happening. I was feeling the contractions slightly but they weren't too painful, it was nice to feel them somewhat so I knew when to push. After only 19 minutes of pushing Addaline Grace arrived into the world at 4:21pm. She weighed 8lbs 13oz (OUCH) and was 21 1/4 inches long. It seemed like it took forever but overall I was pretty pleased with the induction and how everything turned out. The nurse did mention that if I would of went another week or so that Addaline would of weighed another pound which would NOT of been pleasant!!
I will try to keep my page as updated as possible with all my little girls new info and milestones :) It is definitely an awesome experience to be able to share with all you fellow prego's and new mommies, congrats to everyone!!

I haven't updated my page in almost 6 months so I figure it's time to add some new pictures and some info about my growing precious baby girl :) It's been a whirlwind 6 months it seems like since Addaline was born. I cannot believe how fast she is growing up and wish I could slow time a little or a LOT!! She is definitely right on track with her weight if not more, she's breastfed and definitely a "boob baby", I can't get out of her sight without her getting upset, she knows mommy has the "goods"!
Addaline's 6 month appointment is April 3rd so I will update with her stats on that day and try to do a better job of keep my page updated. Hope everyone's babies are happy and healthy!!

April 3, 2008- Addaline had her 6 month appointment today and all is well. She weighs 17 lbs 12 oz and is 27 inches tall, she's a big girl :) The Dr said she is right on track developmentally and is right on track size wise as well. She said keep going with the food and don't worry if it takes her a while to get used to it. She also instructed us to only try 1 new food per week which is fine with us, we're in no hurry. She got 3 shots and the rotavirus vaccine and did so good. She's a little fussy today (4/4/08) but overall did really well. She slept all the way through the night last night but I assume it's because of the shots and the tylenol, either way it was nice. Her next appointment is July 3 so I will update about her stats again then. No shots at that appointment but she does have to get her blood drawn to check hemoglobin levels and iron levels, poor girl : ( I hope everyone is doing well. Best wishes!!

May 15, 2008: Addaline is 7 1/2 months and doing all kinds of new things... I haven't updated for a little while so I thought I better let everyone know what's new in our world. She is sitting up so good and has been for the past 3 weeks or so, took her a little while to get the hang of it but now there's no stopping her. She babbles all the time saying "Da-Da" and "Ma-Ma", it's so cute. I know she doesn't really know what she is saying yet but it just melts my heart when she says "ma-ma", she usually says it when she is crying so it's cute, makes me feel needed :) I took her to the breastfeeding clinic a week or so ago as well and she weighed 18 lbs 3 oz, she is growing SO fast. Not really interested in crawling yet, she hates tummy time so I don't foresee the crawling coming any time soon... I know she'll do it when she is ready. She had done so well with starting the solid food thing, we just started fruit this past weekend and she LOVES bananas!! Her next appointment is in July so I'll definitely update then but I'll try to update as she starts to do new things! Take care ladies :)
