Hello Mommies!

January 4, 2010: So this is time to update. My precious baby boy Marek was born on August 8, 2009. He is love of my life and everything I could wish for. He is almost 5 months old now, and somewhere around 16lbs and 26 inches. He can roll over from belly to back and sit unassisted for a few seconds. He started eating solid foods, and gets rice cereal twice a day. He tried sweet potato, carrots, and pears so far. Marek is such a hungry little man, and could eat around the clock. He doesn't quite sleep through the night yet, and I hope he will start soon. It's amazing how much I love him!

This is my first baby and my husband and I are nervous but really excited. We are having a baby boy, not sure what we are going to name him yet, we call him Peanut for now. Baby Peanut has been a good boy, he is not too fussy and sleeps a lot but likes to kick me and stretch out in the evening when I am relaxing.

The pregnancy has been going really well so far, with first trimester being fairly mild, not feeling sick at all, just wicked tired. The second trimester was a little worse as I was experiencing really bad stretching pains in my rib cage area and a bad shoulder blade pain. For the last few weeks I have been feeling great, had enough energy to move into a new house, go through packing and unpacking, and getting everything ready for the baby while staying at work full time.
